The author notes the importance of using research activities for the overall development of schoolchildren in the context of the dynamism of the socio-economic environment, describes the main forms of organizing research in biology lessons, including taking into account the use of an individual and group approach, and highlights the main characteristics of universal educational activities that are formed in schoolchildren based on research activities in biology lessons. The paper considers the general features of the application of the project approach and the Sketchbook technology for conducting research in biology lessons, and also substantiates the de- fining advantages of each technique. For the project approach of organizing research activities in biology lessons, an algorithm for the actions of the teacher and students is proposed. It is suggested to include in classes of rhythmic gymnastics for children of senior pre-school age special exercises for developing flexibility using a skip rope. The purpose of study is to analyze dynamics of flexibility rate among girls of senior pre-school age in the initial training groups using a skip rope.
