The research describes B. Bloom’s and his followers’ taxonomy of educational goals and its three domains: cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The paper analyzes and compares the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards for mastering the basic curriculum and the requirements of B. The fact is confirmed that practical physical education classes at the university for most stu- dents are actually the only means of their motor regime. It is noted that the introduction of the practice of classes in sports sections as part of the educational process makes it possible to optimize the mode of students’ motor activity. Several types of portfolio exist. Portfolio contributes to the development of socio- cultural competence – the knowledge of socio-cultural features of speech behavior and the ability to communicate with native speakers.
