THE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND MASS MEDIA IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING TRANSLATION ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The article deals with the importance of developing the skills of students studying translation to use various sources of information, including alternative ones, to perform pre-translation analysis of the text, which is one of the main stages of written and oral translation. It also provides an overview of the information technologies that translators use at the stage of direct translation, and discusses the need for students to familiarize themselves with these tech- nologies from the first stages of their professional training.
