As the demand for nursing professionals continues to rise, identifying and supporting nurses who have experienced involuntary migration as refugees could constitute an underutilized pool of talent with a diverse range of experience and qualifications. Successful assimilation into the US health care system requires a comprehensive strategy that prioritizes safety, and fosters a sense of belonging while considering the evolving needs and expectations of both nurse migrants and the health care institutions.
