In this article, we consider the creation of a general application model using the Unity 3D game engine for development for the Head mounted display (HMD). We used the Hololens device to display a demonstration of the model we created and for analysis problems faced during the initial development of interactive content in mixed reality.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124810333","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development has been running as a dual vocational education programme. It is realized in cooperation with Secondary Vocational School for Electrotechnics in Kosice, and since conception over 200 students went through a 3-year old curriculum. The programme is tailored for the secondary school graduates and in the context of Slovak education it is considered as a higher professional form of education. Formally, standing at ISCED level 3b it is, in principle, equivalent to university-based bachelor studies. While the dual programme is steadily delivering value to our business, we are exploring the ways to move the educational concept beyond merely dual secondary level. In the contribution we argue the needs, benefits and specific ways forward in improving the mutual permeability of vocational education system especially in vertical dimensions. We share our vision of efficiently interconnecting the dual VET level with the “standard” tertiary education levels. Why does this matter? We believe it might (1) increase the attractiveness of VET as a path for personal development, and (2) open up paths to further education to the graduates of the dual form of higher studies.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128610012","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The growing power of Information and Communication Technologies allowed considering educational approaches unimaginable recently. The return to the previous stage is many university educators' desire. At the same time, no one can exclude similar emergency situations in the future. The universities and their educators have to be better prepared for them. In this paper, we outline a solution: the creation of a “mirror” image of a real campus in a Virtual Reality Environment. The quotation marks indicate the fact that the VRE should not only replicate the study programs but imitate the university climate. Design and development of such campus is undergoing; the first pilot projects had run and are now evaluated. The paper analyses the key advantages it offers and drawbacks it may bring.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125199233","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The situation caused by the Covid-19 virus has forced all educational institutions to replace their previous traditional way of working with online teaching and learning. E-Iearning can change the way of learning and offer new opportunities, by enabling learning anywhere and anytime and access to information at a distance, which is why universities and higher education institutions are increasingly striving to provide e-Iearning. The implementation and application of such systems causes a change in the working environment, so when measuring the success of IS, it is necessary to look at this aspect as well. This paper aims to investigate the role of workforce agility on the acceptance, and therefore the success, of Information Systems.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128272944","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a follow-up to current knowledge about circadian rhythms with the addition of the observation and analysis of changes in skin conductivity during the day. In humans, the electrodermal activity of the skin changes during the day, not only due to the circadian rhythm but also depending on the quality and quantity of emotions experienced, as well as the intensity of eustress and distress. The Sensetio method is based on specialized software, which uses the Sensetio bracelet to measure galvanic skin response, heart rate, heart rate variability, temperature and movement, and subsequently does a statistical analysis of the measured data. It is known that many people are not able to listen to their body, do not respect its needs and are forcing themselves to perform by using various stimulants even during a time when rest would be more desirable for them. Knowledge of one's own internal clock can therefore be a means for stronger physical and mental health, mental well-being, and higher work performance.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"177 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120848337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A special challenge in the area of education is to handle the different domains of knowledge in order to enable domain independent learning with chatbots. To enable a future development of such a system, we investigate the different expectations of users and their satisfaction when learning with a chatbot through a Wizard-of-Oz study. Subsequently, we identified and categorized intentions of learners. The study shows high acceptance and willingness to further interact with the system. Technical requirements can be derived from our results to enable a domain-independent chatbot for corporate e-learning in the future.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"SE-3 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121009105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
