This research was conducted using the ADDIE model of Research & Development (R&D). Data were collected using a questionnaire technique and analyzed quantitatively with descriptive statistical techniques complemented by qualitative analysis of input from media expert, material experts and users. This model was implemented in students of the Dance Education study program, the Language and Arts Faculty of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in the Surakarta Classical Dance course. The results showed that: (1) 70% of students preferred the blended learning model where face-to-face lectures and independent learning through e learning were made alternately; (2) The material is compiled from the general, then embodied in detail by parts, and then presented as a whole (referring to elaboration theory), and (3) E-learning materials use various media elements (text, power point slides, pictures, photos, and videos) which are arranged based on learning activities according to student needs. Based on the results can be concluded that blended learning in Javanese classical dance learning can increase efficiency, especially in terms of time use and the level of lecturer involvement in the learning process directly and increasing the effectiveness of learning. However, even though the student's independent learning process is increasing, the role of the lecturer in face-to-face is still important in controlling standard movement techniques and dance expressions.","PeriodicalId":426687,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Technology and Educational Science (ICTES 2020)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134409554","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This creates a problem for Arabic language teachers and program developers, who might find it difficult to decide which language variety they must teach to ensure that Arabic language learners can use the language effectively. Educated Spoken Arabic (ESA), which is said to combine both varieties, emerges and offers a solution for this problem. As the effectiveness of a solution depends on the context, this research is conducted with the purpose of helping teachers understand the nature of ESA and its suitability for Arabic language teaching in Indonesian context. The method of literature review was employed. Based on the literature review, it is found that ESA can help Indonesian learners achieve communicative competence, but they still need to learn the other forms of Arabic, especially the classical one, to access Islamic knowledge. Thus, it can be concluded that having ESA as a base to develop communicative skills might be beneficial, but it does not mean that the other forms of Arabic should be left behind. The basic rules of ESA and teachers’ knowledge about ESA also need to be considered carefully.","PeriodicalId":426687,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Technology and Educational Science (ICTES 2020)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123831323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Identification was very much needed because so far, as far as it was observed, the hospitality material books used in various vocational schools throughout Bali have not prepared teaching materials based on the needs analysis used by students learning English for Hotel. Most of the English teaching for the hotel was provided in the form of books that were ready to be sold in bookstores. Teachers had a hard time getting to the specific jargon used in hotels, especially in the important departments that deal directly with guests. Thus, students in colleges who are deployed in hotels have difficulty understanding the jargon used in hotels. To understand it, students need a very long adjustment. Even though, the jargon is definitely needed, however, neither schools nor the hotel industry have provided these jargons to be understood by hotel trainees who are taking job training in hotels throughout Lovina. In this regard, this study aimed at describing a number of jargon needed in hotels and providing a descriptive analysis of the forms and meanings in each of these jargons.","PeriodicalId":426687,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Technology and Educational Science (ICTES 2020)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114157684","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
