In this collection of poems, this element has a double meaning for the lyric I: one more basic, associated to its condition of agent, and other one which is built by this subjectivity in relation to the perceptual, motor and kinaesthetic impressions that he collects from it and that turned the air into a space. In this way, « air » is configured as a total synonym of « landscape », the theme par excellence in the French poet’s work. The subject does not look for being par of it but for appropriating it to himself by means of a series of cognitive operations linked to his movement and perception that constantly revitalize it.","PeriodicalId":40938,"journal":{"name":"Cedille-Revista de Estudios Franceses","volume":"1 1","pages":"367-387"},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2020-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49049760","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

En esta textualizacion no solo se registra la experiencia personal, sino tambien la reconstruccion de diversos discursos que la mediatizan: referencias historicas, literarias y legendarias, especialmente vinculadas con la Edad Media y concebidas segun el imaginario romantico de la epoca. El objetivo del presente trabajo es no solo determinar su clasificacion dentro de los discursos de viajes mediante un estudio de la configuracion textual, sino tambien analizar sus aspectos mas llamativos: las isotopias y los intertextos. Este abordaje nos permitira reconstruir el imaginario cultural del autor, su horizonte de expectativas, la funcionalidad de las isotopias e intertextos en el entramado discursivo como asi tambien la finalidad global del libro. EnglishIn Un pelerinage au pays du Cid, Frederic Ozanam depicts his journey of 1852 through Spanish lands. It records both his personal experience and the reconstruction of different discourses which intervened as well, such as historical, literary and legendary references, especially those linked to the Middle Age and perceived according to the romantic conception of the time. The aim of this paper is not only to establish its categorisation within the travel speeches by analyzing its textual configuration, but also to study its most striking aspects: the isotopies and intertexts. This approach will enable the reconstruction of the author's cultural imaginary, his horizon of expectations, the function of the isotopies and intertexts in the discursive framework as well as the overall purpose of the book. francaisDans Un pelerinage au pays du Cid, Frederic Ozanam decrit son voyage de 1852 en terres espagnoles. The analysis includes a look at the consequences of the inclusion of the author’s works on the Index Librorum Prohibitorum and at the effects of the Franco regime’s censorship. In our opinion Ricœur’s theoretical frame is relevant for present-day neurocognitive studies about literature, with regard to the issues of embodiment, bodily simulation and interpretation of textual latent meanings hidden beyond the manifest ones. Ricœur’s practice of suspicion is one of the two poles of our present inquiry about literary text, while the second is our neurohermeneutic approach (Gambino & Pulvirenti 2018; 2019). In the perspective of what we here define as neurohermeneutics of suspicion, the reader becomes an interpreter, questioning the text with regard to its multilayered surface features as marking inferential clues unveiling secondary meanings. The meaning-making process depends on a creative act of the reader’s imagination embodying the mental (re-)construction of the situation described by a text. Therefore, suspicious interpreting does not rely in either the text, the author, the reader or the cultural and cognitive context, but in their complex and dynamic relationship, pivoting around the common embodied faculties of being a human. We claim that particularly in the postcritical venture, Ricœur’s hermeneutics, may be helpful in refiguring the pleasure of deciphering the fictional worlds of literature, challenging the reader to ‘play’ with the literary text intended as a terra incognita of inexhaustible multiple meanings.","PeriodicalId":40938,"journal":{"name":"Cedille-Revista de Estudios Franceses","volume":"18 1","pages":"389-413"},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2020-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49262169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The questioning of conscience from a cognitive and moral point of view runs through his entire production, often trying to situate itself in the uncertain division that separates and brings together the animal and man. This epistemic critical axis – which straddles philosophy and the cognitive sciences – will serve in this article to analyze the articulation between L'Etranger and La Chute that makes Clamence into Meursault’s reverse. The nostalgia for an innocent paradise, the ethical and moral problem of violence and the consideration of death receive in Camus’ thought a cognitive treatment that links the phenomenological phylosophie of his time with the current biology of consciousness or evolutionary anthropology.","PeriodicalId":40938,"journal":{"name":"Cedille-Revista de Estudios Franceses","volume":"1 1","pages":"415-443"},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2020-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69074836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
