The major objective of this study is to formulate a health-beneficial beverage that could be organoleptically accepted by people of all age groups, to bring forward a new product from wheatgrass that has mostly remained unexplored. The wheatgrass harvested on the 9th day (optimized on the basis of chlorophyll, tannin, total polyphenols, flavonoids and DPPH radical scavenging activity) was taken for study. The wheat seeds (WK 1204 variety), collected from Agriculture Botany Division, Nepal Agriculture Research Council were used for the preparation of ready-to-serve juice. Eight different formulations of RTS were prepared with the help of Design-Expert®, version 7, keeping juice content 7-13%, TSS 9-16 °Bx and constant acidity at 0.3%. Response Surface Methodology, D-optimal design was adapted for the formulations. The optimization of the formulation was intended to be carried out based on sensory analysis. Proximate and phytochemical (Chlorophyll, Polyphenol, Flavonoids, Tannins and Antioxidant properties) composition of 9th days harvested wheatgrass, its extracted juice and the final product was also carried out. The statistical analysis (two-way ANOVA, no blocking) was done in order to evaluate the outcomes of sensory analysis. There was a significant difference for sensory attributes like flavor, taste, body and overall acceptability at p<0.05, whereas color wasn’t found to be significantly different. This paper aims to evaluate Nepal's human capital and its impact on poverty reduction. The study utilizes time series data spanning from 1990 to 2021. To achieve the objectives of this research, the Johansen cointegration, vector error correction model (VECM), and Granger causality methods are employed. The overall findings reveal that human capital formation is particularly effective and significant in reducing poverty in Nepal in the short term. There is strong evidence indicating that investing in health is crucial for sustainable poverty reduction. However, education spending appears to have only a temporary effect on poverty alleviation in Nepal. Additionally, education demonstrates a positive association with gross fixed capital formation, employment, gross enrollment, and HDI, but not with health spending. It's important to note that this study covers a limited observation period of 32 years, and proxies for variables such as poverty reduction and human capital are constrained. Nevertheless, this research contributes by employing updated time-series data and aims to address the literature gap regarding the relationship between human capital and poverty reduction in Nepal. To effectively combat poverty in Nepal, the government should need to finance healthcare and education. The objectives of the study are to examine how marginalized people oppose the dominant culture by participating in the armed revolution. The central character, Mhendo in the novel has a firm belief in the glories of the Tamang history. She learns that the ruling class conquered the Tamang warriors and subjugated them. They have become victimized on their own land. She figures out the reasons behind the misrepresentation of the people and the community as she has grown up with the Tamang myth in Ichong. This provokes her ethnic consciousness and prepares her to resist in an attempt to regain the lost history. Her decision to recruit herself in the decade-long civil war is a form of resistance to cultural hegemony. The paper writer uses here the concepts of influential critics such as Margaret S Archer, Kasper Masse, Miguel Tamen, Jocelyn A. Hollander and Rachel L. Einwohner and Gayatri Chokravorty Spivak as a theoretical framework. Spivak interrogates the concept of the colonial subject in postcolonial discourse and limits the ability to relate with diverse cultures, Similarly, Miguel Tamen believes that the attempt to critique and interpret is to express resistance. The use of waste decomposers enhances the soil and it increases the farmer’s income doubly. This product makes the land fertile and promotes organic farming but it is not a fertilizer, just an enhancer. Organic farming has not been broadly promoted in Nepal though most people demand organic products. Organic product means organic food which enhances the human mind. Still, the farmers are using chemical fertilizers in their farms for commercial purposes, but the productive capacity of the soil has declined. The overuse of chemical fertilizers has deteriorated not only the soil health but also the human health. Slowly and gradually, the area of barren land is increasing because of chemical aggression. The main purpose of the study is to protect human health and soil health. This waste decomposer solution decomposes the wastes into organic fertilizers shortly as well as it makes the seeds bacteria-free when washed by it before sown. Healthy seeds and organic fertilizers enhance harvesting. The price of organic products is higher than that of inorganic ones. This increases the farmer’s income level. The findings of the study show that farmers’ agricultural products have not been satisfactory with the use of conventional methods of farming. This method of farming has not enhanced the farmers’ income source. This research attempts to bridge between agriculture and literature. The study adopts the descriptive survey methods and document analysis for the description and explanation of the use of waste decomposers and their benefits.
