And in connection with the activation of the consumption of audiovisual information, the video blogging sector is attracting more and more attention. The latter develops in a highly competitive environment. A blogger faces a difficult task – to win the attention of the audience in competition with other bloggers, platforms and reality. One of the means of solving this problem is naming. The name of the video content is able to attract an audience to it and promote the channel. The study analyzes the methods and techniques, which are used by the most popular video bloggers of Russian-speaking sector of the Internet in the field of naming. The conditions for the primary attraction of attention, as well as the means of emotional impact that bloggers use most often, are given.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135661301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current research is aimed at determining the specifics of intraspecific homofelisonyms on a modern synchronous section of felisonymic material. The empirical base is made up of felisonyms (proper names of domestic cats; from Latin felis ‘cat’) obtained through a survey of respondents and continuous sampling from the Internet resources. A descriptive method and quantitative calculations are used to analyse the research base. Homonymy in felisonymy turns out to be quite a representative phenomenon. It manifests itself at the intraspecific level through numerous homooppositions, formed at the nomination stage, and includes homonymous felisonyms, which are determined by various nomination motives. The non-closed nature of the motivational base of intraspecific homofelisonyms is shown. The motivational base can be expanded due to additional nomination motives determined by the nominator’s preferences and felisonymic creativity. The specific features of intraspecific homofelisonyms are revealed. Being a felisonymic fragment of the nominator’s linguistic world picture, homofelisonyms represent in a concentrated form the onomastic features of felisonyms in general, namely: the principles underlying the naming process; possible formation by metaphorical and metonymic models; felisonymisation processes; derivational features of felisonyms; the difference between the namesake and homonymous felisonyms. The novelty of the present research appears to be an introduction of a certain layer of felisonymic units into scientific circulation and the presentation of their onomastic characteristics. The practical significance of the research is determined by the possibility of using its materials and conclusions in the development of zoonymy in general and felisonymy in particular, as well as in school and university teaching. Further prospects lie in the study of homonymous shortened felisonyms, which are derivative forms of the main proper names of domestic cats, which formed the empirical base of the current research.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135705045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose is to identify the key stress factors for the regional mass media journalists (on the basis of the Penza and Rostov regions). The leading method is the anonymous survey “Stress in the profession of a journalist”. It turned out that journalists, on average, assess the level of stress in their profession at 6.75 points out of 10, the journalists (91 % of surveyed), regardless of age, rate the workload as high or very high. The topics that cause the most stress for journalists are the special military operation in Ukraine, politics, crime and accidents, social aspects – tragedies: conversations with the families of the dead and injured (especially children), IDPs, as well as housing and communal services, health. The process of working in the mass media also seems stressful due to multitasking and tight deadlines for submission of materials, emotionally difficult communication with the heroes of complex topics. The organization of work in the editorial office in some cases also becomes a stress factor for journalists: 15 % of respondents noted that relations in the team in 2022 became more tense and called management in their editorial office ineffective. The current situation dictates the need for a comprehensive study on the problem of journalistic stress, including in the regional aspect, so in the future you can study the recommendations of psychologists, which are regularly given in professional media (“Journalist” magazine and on the portal “Sdelano.Media”). The results of research are used in the classes on the psychology of mass communications (media psychology) for students-journalists (bachelor’s degree).","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68220699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study is devoted to the phenomenon of functional-semantic incongruence of the title and text, which distorts the media images of events that form the information agenda of popular news feeds and online media on the Internet. A number of publications from various popular online media, selected by rating indicators, are analyzed. The main attention is paid to news publications in which the meanings of the title contradict the semantic content of the main text. As a result of a comprehensive content analysis of numerous examples, significant semantic differences between headlines and full texts of the media are identified and described, the main linguistic causes of these contradictions and semantic shifts leading to functional losses are determined. The linguistic problems of perception and the impact of such media images on the mass audience are identified and emphasised. Particular attention is paid to the fact that such changes can lead to serious violations of the information picture of the day and distort it. Methods for determining the degree of incongruence are proposed. Based on the identification of the functional-semantic incongruence of the title and the main text of the news message, the principles for determining the level of clickbaitness, the toxicity coefficient are proposed. Based on the study of news reports in the online media, it is established that such a functional-semantic incongruence of the linguistic representation of events has a significant impact on the state of the linguistic and information security of the entire Internet space and its users. The results of the study can be used by scientists in the field of mass communication, mass media, journalism, as well as practitioners in the field of creative industries, which include media production.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68218799","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We establish that when comprehending a fictional work, attention should be paid to the world image of the writer, a reflection of his “national spirit”, that the artistic (writer’s) linguistic personality is a special type of linguistic personality with a specific semantic structure of national consciousness. This fact allows us to assert that the artistic picture of the world as the author's refraction of the collective reflection of the world in the ethno-cultural consciousness, in particular the Uzbek language community, reflects the implementation of the labeled opposition “creativity”. Within the framework of the attribute “creative nature of knowledge”, the aesthetic purpose of the language is reflected. It is substantiated that the linguistic picture of the world is objectified by the national nominative vocabulary, while the artistic picture of the world of the writer is represented by mental imagery – units of secondary nomination, which include comparisons, metaphors, metonymy, epithets and other elements of artistic consciousness. It is proved that those linguistic signs, which are based on mental ethnic generalizations of reality – national images and stereotypes, which form a kind of sphere of existence of the Uzbek mentality and national culture, acquire special significance in a fictional text.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68219433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Kryukova’s fairy tale “Prisoner of the mirror”, the central part of the tetralogy about Queen Zlata and Moon Knight, accumulates various mythological, folklore and literary models. It contains various forms of literary intertextuality, the most important role for understanding the hidden meanings of a fairy tale is played by mythopoetic images and representative allusions. The leitmotif of the looking-glass world, which is the main one for the fairy tale “Prisoner of the mirror”, continues the traditions of ancient mythology, and then Russian and European literature of the 19th–20th centuries, representing the world in a reflected form. The phenomenon of the dialogue of text with other texts, proposed by M.M. Bakhtin, makes it possible to reveal the deep content layers of the work in question. The technique of mythological bricolage, which is manifested in the use of characters and plot moves of ancient Greek mythology, makes it possible to demonstrate, according to Bakhtin, the “holiday of the meaning revival”: the characters of ancient myths Pan, Narcissus symbolize the demonic beginning and the hopelessness of sin, with the exception of the nymph Echo, who appears as the personification of selfless love and acts in an unusual role for her mythological status as a magical assistant to children. In the fairy tale there is also a mixture of heterogeneous characters, some combine the features of an ancient prototype and a character of Russian folklore (Odarka). The traditional characters of Russian folk tales (Bear, Fox, Cat) receive a new status of arbiters of judgment and punishment. Reminiscences from the fairy tales of Ch. Perrault and H.-C. Andersen, L. Carroll and V. Gubarev complicate the artistic drawing of the work. The fate theme, fate, which runs through the work, undergoes a serious transformation in the fairy tale. In ancient fate, as the plot develops, the features of divine providence in the Christian sense become more and more distinct. The position of Varga, who denies personal guilt and responsibility for sin, appears as untenable, the image of the Mirror of Judgment directly refers the reader to the ethical teachings of Christianity. Fairy tale discourse allows the author to declare the Christian paradigm of moral values in a complex interaction of borrowed and original characters, motives, plot moves.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68214821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Attention is focused on the seeming incompatibility of pacifist views and positions of the unconditional need to defend the Motherland in the Patriotic Wars. The positions of L. Tolstoy and B. Okudzhava on this issue are compared in the light of the concept of the synthetic theory of P.N. Sakulin, which determines the continuity of ideas in culture. The diachronic differences in the formation of the image of the Russian people as a defender of their land at the cost of self-sacrifice are analyzed. The meaning of the concept of “people” in different periods of historical time and its refraction in a changing social context are problematized. In this regard, a spiritual invariant is fixed, which retains its role in culture from A.S. Pushkin to the present day. Based on the texts of B. Okudzhava’s poems, the solution of the contradictions between pacifism, the rejection of war and the defense of the fatherland as a modus of saving the “land” from universal evil, which is not tied to any particular nation, is substantiated. It has been established that L. Tolstoy metaphorizes the people-defender in the image of a bee swarm – in a dynamic quality, while B. Okudzhava presents the same idea in a monolithic-phytomorphic form of a tree-like “growing” into the ground. It is proved that Russia is depicted in its natural right, and the natural right to protect the habitat from violent invasion determines the humanitarian image of Russia. The all-human pathos of denial of aggression in the work of these authors is emphasized.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68218880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study and explication of the interaction and contradictions of “cognition” and “hedonism” is topical. The purpose of the study: to show, using examples of predominantly English-language texts, the specificity of ironic overtones that create additional narrative expression related to the cognitive strategies of the authors, that is, to the setting for expanding the horizons of knowledge in the context of the modern development of the theory of mass media, communication and literary criticism. Methods of the study: cognitive-contextual, combined with historical and cultural analysis of ironic discourses. The nature of the information and cultural potential of ironic discourses is characterized, taking into account the “postmodern sensitivity”. The pragmatic expediency of the interaction of irony and analytics in the construction of the epistemological paradigm of journalistic narratives is substantiated. Conclusions are drawn about the cognitive-heuristic significance of comic elements in journalistic texts, about the benefits of intrusion of hedonistic values into serious media discourses, about the conflict of interests of “humorists” and “cognitivists” in media narratives and in the science of mass communications.","PeriodicalId":34441,"journal":{"name":"Neofilologiia","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68219063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
