It is theoretically expected to be a business value add element in terms of capability and competitiveness in the supply chain ecosystem, which is fundamental in business success. But digitalization also has its own risks and challenges including expertise, capital, cooperation, incentives, and support from other economic units, such as other merchants and customer preferences. Failure in digitization can lead to mistrust and negative perceptions that may lead to effects the SME growth. Among the biggest digitalization challenges are for the rural micro-entrepreneurs (RME) who live in areas that lack digital support facilities and technological capabilities, such as a weak internet connection and native customer's desire to buy using online shopping platforms. This study will analyze the competitive level of RME businesses from a supply chain perspective. To analyze the impact of supply chain digitization (DSC), a mediator effect will be used. DSC will be applied in mediator effect to entrepreneurial supply chain towards the level of RME’s business competitiveness. The hypothesis of this study is DSC practice has a role on the growth of RME business competitiveness. Using the Partial Lease Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, this study found that RMC’s efforts on business digitization do not have a significant impact on the development of business competitiveness. The hypothesis of this study was confirmed by the rate of P-value. While DSC mediator effect through variance accounted for (VAF) calculation found that there is low partial mediation (23%). Situasi ini memberi cabaran baru kepada profesion perguruan dalam memastikan guru lebih bersedia dan efisien untuk meningkatkan pencapaian akademik yang baik di samping melahirkan murid yang memiliki sahsiah terpuji. Hal ini berikutan medium e-pembelajaran terpaksa digunakan oleh guru sepenuhnya sebagai alternatif pembelajaran bagi menggantikan sistem pembelajaran konvensional. Analisis terhadap kajian lepas menunjukkan cabaran teknologi serta globalisasi dalam proses pembelajaran memberi impak terhadap pembentukan sahsiah pelajar. Oleh itu, kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kepustakaan dan berbentuk konseptual bertujuan untuk membincangkan pelaksanaan e-pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam sekolah rendah dengan mengupas cabaran dan halangan yang dihadapi oleh guru Pendidikan Islam pada masa kini ekoran pelaksanaan medium pengajaran dan pembelajaran secara tidak bersemuka. Selain itu, kajian ini akan melihat bagaimana usaha guru dalam membina sahsiah murid melalui e-pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam. Justeru, kajian ini dapat memberi kefahaman kepada guru mengenai usaha dan peranan yang perlu dilakukan bagi membina sahsiah murid melalui platform e-pembelajaran. Demi menyahut permintaan masyarakat yang mahukan anak mereka menghafal al-Quran, pendidikan tahfiz berkembang pesat ibarat cendawan tumbuh selepas hujan. Namun begitu, timbul beberapa isu mengenai kelemahan pendidikan tahfiz seperti keselamatan bangunan dan infrastruktur serta masalah sosial yang mana rakyat menyabitkannya dengan tadbir urus yang lemah. Tidak banyak perbincangan akademik yang menyentuh struktur tadbir urus Islam dalam pendidikan tahfiz terutamanya di peringkat persekutuan. Sehubungan itu, artikel ini cuba untuk menyediakan kerangka konsep tadbir urus Islam dalam pendidikan tahfiz terutamanya di Darul Quran. Dengan menggunakan kaedah perpustakaan, perkembangan Darul Quran dalam pendidikan tahfiz dan konsep tadbir urus dalam pendidikan tahfiz di peringkat persekutuan iaitu Darul Quran akan dikupas dalam artikel ini. Menurut UNICEF, Artikel 5 dalam The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) memperuntukkan bahawa kanak-kanak adalah di bawah tanggungjawab, hak dan tugas ibu bapa untuk menyediakan arah tuju dan panduan yang sewajarnya kepada mereka. Di Malaysia, perkahwinan kanak-kanak Islam merupakan bidangkuasa negeri dalam menyediakan peruntukan dan memberi kebenaran untuk berkahwin di bawah umur. Negeri Selangor merupakan negeri pertama yang membuat pindaan undang-undang terhadap had umur kanak-kanak Islam untuk berkahwin selepas berlakunya satu isu perkahwinan kanak-kanak di Malaysia. Justeru, kajian ini membincangkan tentang penguatkuasaan undang-undang terhadap perkahwinan kanak-kanak Islam di Selangor selepas pindaan Enakmen Undang-undang Keluarga Islam 2003 (Pindaan 2018). Kajian ini juga turut membincangkan implikasi dan cabaran selepas pindaan undang-undang tersebut. Kajian ini menggunapakai data kualitatif yang menggunakan kaedah kepustakaan. Kajian eksplorasi dan induktif ini menganalisis data primer dan sekunder seperti peruntukan dalam Enakmen Undang-undang Keluarga Islam Negeri Selangor, laporan-laporan kes dan artikel akademik. Kajian ini mendapati bahawa penguatkuasaan undang-undang yang baharu memberi jaminan kebajikan, perlindungan dan pendidikan kepada kanak-kanak tersebut. Implikasi pindaan ini, beberapa buah negeri terlibat dalam pindaan undang-undang berkaitan perkahwinan kanak-kanak Islam. Orang Arab khasnya daripada keturunan Sayyid dari Hadhramaut, Yaman tidak hanya terlibat dalam aktiviti dakwah, tetapi mereka juga turut melibatkan diri dalam perniagaan dan keusahawanan. Oleh kerana kebanyakan daripada mereka lebih dikenali masyarakat sebagai pendakwah atau dai dan ulama, maka, makalah ini cuba mengetengahkan penglibatan beberapa orang tokoh Arab keturunan Sayyid dalam aspek kebajikan dan kerja amal mereka di Malaysia sebelum Perang Dunia Kedua. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah penyelidikan berbentuk kualitatif, mengkaji dan menganalisis penglibatan orang Arab dalam kerja amal dengan mengakses bahan daripada rekod arkib seperti surat dan dokumen serta penulisan ilmiah. Kajian mendapati keluarga Arab seperti al-Kaff, al-Sagoff, al-Junied dan al-Attas merupakan antara keluarga Arab yang berjaya di Malaysia dalam pelbagai bidang perniagaan. Walaupun mereka berjaya dalam bidang perniagaan, namun mereka juga turut menyumbang kepada masyarakat melalui aktiviti dan kerja amal seperti mewakafkan tanah perkuburan, membina masjid dan mendirikan madrasah yang dibiayai oleh dana wakaf.\u0000 \u0000The Arabs popularly known as orang Arab among Malays were once known as religious men in the society. The Arabs especially the Hadhrami Sayyids who originated from Hadhramaut, Yemen were not only involved in dakwah activities but also engaged in business and entrepreneurship. Since many of them were only known by the society as preachers (dai) and religious scholars (ulama), therefore, this paper attempts to highlight the humanitarian aspect of the Arabs in particular the prominent Arabs in fulfilling their social responsibilities in Malaya before the World War Two. This article employed a qualitative research method studying and analyzing the Arabs’ engagement in charity works by accessing records from archives such as letters, records, and documents as well as literature from scholarly works. It is found that the Arab families such as al-Kaff, al-Sagoff, al-Junied and al-Attas were among those Arab families who succeeded in Malaya. Tafsiran umum para pengkaji merumuskan gastronomi sebagai “food Knowledge”. Oleh kerana tanggapan umumnya adalah pengetahuan tentang makanan, maka gastronomi sering dikaitkan dengan bidang kulinari atau masakan. Perspektif sejarah merumuskan gastronomi sebagai suatu fenomena sosial yang mendapat perhatian para pemikir, pengamal kulinari dan juga masyarakat umum bermula pada awal abad ke 19. Perspektif akademik mengembangkan pemahaman gastronomi sebagai cabang ilmu yang boleh diteroka melalui penyiasatan secara saintifik. Banyak lagi pandangan dan justifikasi yang berbeza tentang bidang ini. Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826) memulakan usaha formal terhadap bidang gastronomi yang kemudian telah membuka jalan untuk kajian seterusnya. Pendekatan pelbagai disiplin ilmu dalam kajian gastronomi yang diperkenalkan oleh beliau telah menyebabkan bidang tersebut semakin mendapat perhatian. Kepentingan bidang tersebut mula dilihat dalam bentuk yang lebih dinamik serta tidak terhad kepada kajian kulinari semata-mata. Kajian kontemporari bidang ini lebih cenderung meneroka ilmu gastronomi dalam perspektif saintifik. Penulisan ringkas ini cuba membawa sorotan perkembangan bidang kajian gastronomi berdasarkan perbincangan dan wacana akademik yang lepas serta berdasarkan perkembangan semasa. \u0000 \u0000Gastronomy is easily understood as the field of studies discussed about food and nutrition in human life. Through general interpretation most researchers considerate that gastronomy as \"food knowledge\". Since the interpretation is generally about knowledge of food, gastronomy is also associated with the culinary or cooking activities. Historical perspective observed that gastronomic field is also as a social phenomenon that assist thinkers, culinary practioner and even the general public attention begun in the early 19th century. An Academic view has developed perspective that gastronomy as a branch of knowledge which aslo could be explored through scientific investigation. As a researcher in this field, Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826), has started a formal study in this field and eventually lead the way to the next studies by other reseacher. Savarin has explored, combined the scientific approach in exploring culinary and cooking activities. The new approach has been widely accepted by others. This new approach is significant, dynamic and not limited to the conventional approach in understanding the potential in gastronomic and culinary activities. Contemporary studies are more likely to explore the scientific approach in this field. This short writing is attempted to highlight the development and progress in this field. Di dalam kajian ini, pengkaji menggunakan kaedah kajian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan Fuzzy Delphi Method. Pengkaji juga menggunakan khidmat 16 orang pakar dari pelbagai bidang iaitu bidang pedagogi dan pendidikan al-Quran. Borang soal selidik mengandungi 16 item yang melibatkan tiga konstruk utama iaitu (i) perancangan pengajaran, (ii) pengetahuan isi kandungan pelajaran dan (iii) amalan guru dalam mengubah suai kandungan pelajaran. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan software Fudelo. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan kesemua item yang dicadangkan oleh pengkaji melepasi ketiga-tiga syarat Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) iaitu nilai threshold (d) kurang atau sama daripada 0.2, jumlah kesepakatan pakar melebihi atau sama dengan 75% dan nilai alpha cut iaitu nilai defuzzification melebihi atau sama dengan 0.5. Dapatan keseluruhan menunjukkan terdapat konsensus pakar bagi item-item yang dicadangkan dalam reka bentuk Model Pedagogi Terbeza berasaskan elemen kandungan pelajaran tilawah al-Quran sekolah rendah. Reka bentuk model ini diharap dapat membantu guru Pendidikan Islam dalam menguasai kandungan pelajaran tilawah al-Quran dengan lebih baik dan kompeten.\u0000 \u0000This study aims to obtain expert consensus on the need for key elements and rank each item in order of priority in the development of different pedagogical models based on the content elements of Quran recitation lessons in primary schools. In this study, the researcher used a quantitative research method by using the Fuzzy Delphi Method approach. The researcher also used the services of 16 experts from various fields, namely the field of pedagogy and Quranic education. The questionnaire contains 16 items involving three main constructs, namely (i) lesson planning, (ii) knowledge of lesson content, and (iii) teacher practise in modifying lesson content. The data was analysed using Fudelo software. The findings showed that all items proposed by the researcher passed the three conditions of the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM): the threshold value (d) is less than or equal to 0.2, the total expert agreement exceeds or equals 75%, and the alpha cut value, which is the defuzzification value, exceeds or equals 0.5. The overall findings indicate that there is expert consensus for the items proposed in the design of the differentiated pedagogy model based on the content elements of primary school Quran recitation lessons. Mutakhir ini terdapat usaha untuk mengintegrasikan hafazan al-Qur’an dengan subjek-subjek akademik yang dipelajari pelajar. Namun, model integrasi ayat hafazan dengan ilmu aqli berlandaskan disiplin ilmu tafsir bagi kegunaan pelajar peringkat menengah belum diketengahkan. Kertas konsep ini bertujuan membangunkan model pengintegrasian ayat hafazan Al-Quran dengan ilmu aqli di Kolej GENIUS Insan. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan Design and Developmental Research (DDR) yang diasaskan oleh Richey dan Klein (2007) yang mempunyai tiga fasa iaitu analisis keperluan, reka bentuk dan pembangunan, dan penilaian kebolehgunaan. Bagi analisis keperluan, tinjauan menggunakan temu bual dilakukan dalam kalangan guru, alumni, dan pelajar Kolej GENIUS Insan untuk melihat bagaimana pengintegrasian ayat hafazan Al-Quran dengan ilmu aqli diimplementasikan. Fasa kedua ialah mereka bentuk model menggunakan kaedah Focus Group Discussion (FGD) melibatkan 7 orang pakar dan membangunkan model menggunakan pendekatan Fuzzy Delphi Method melibatkan 12 pakar. Model prototaip untuk integrasi ayat hafazan Al-Quran dengan ilmu aqli akan menjadi hasil fasa ini. Pada fasa ketiga, Nominal Group Technique (NGT) melibatkan 9 panel pakar akan digunakan untuk menilai kebolehgunaan model. \u0000 \u0000Tahfiz education in Malaysia is growing with the introduction of the Tahfiz Integrated Curriculum (KBT). Recently, there have been efforts to integrate Quranic memorisation with academic subjects. However, the model of integrating Quranic memorised verses with aqli knowledge based on the discipline of tafsir for the use of secondary level students has not been highlighted. Therefore, this concept paper presents research proposals to develop a model of integrating the Quranic memorised verse with the aqli knowledge in the Kolej GENIUS Insan using Design and Development Research (DDR) approach. {"title":"Exploring the Assessor's Competency in Selecting the Participant for the International Youth Exchange Program in Malaysia","authors":"M. Competency reflects someone's quality or state of having sufficient knowledge, judgment, skill, or strength for a particular duty or respect. Undoubtedly, incompetency of the evaluation also happens when the assessors are beyond their professional capacity as assessors. When this situation happens, it will lead to the influence of personal judgments. To explore the influence of the selection process, the objective of this study is to determine the competency of the assessor in the decision-making process during the recruitment to select the candidate to represent Malaysia in the International Youth Exchange Program. The qualitative research method was chosen to conduct this study. Data was collected through an in-depth interview with five former assessors from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the association's former assessor. Since Malaysia is under Movement Control Order, the interview was conducted via an online platform like Google Meet. The study found that the assessors were found to be competent as assessors. There is no element of gender discrimination that happened during the selection process. However, the credibility of the assessor from the NGOs is doubted. They are exposed to the conflict of interest of those they politically know from their association. As for the recommendation, it is sensible to propose the competency model for the assessor, part of the personnel who will play a significant role in ensuring the selection of the participants. A new persona description has been made based on the assessor's interpretation to select the youth to represent Malaysia.\u0000 \u0000Dalam proses pemilihan peserta di dalam sesebuah program, kecekapan penilai adalah penting. Kecekapan mencerminkan kualiti atau keadaan seseorang yang mempunyai pengetahuan, pertimbangan, kemahiran atau kekuatan yang mencukupi untuk menggalas tugas mahupun penghormatan tertentu. Tidak dinafikan, ketidakcekapan penilaian juga berlaku apabila penilai berada di luar kapasiti profesional mereka sebagai penilai. Apabila keadaan ini berlaku, ia akan membawa kepada pengaruh pertimbangan peribadi. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki kecekapan penilai dalam proses membuat keputusan semasa proses penilaian untuk memilih calon yang akan mewakili Malaysia dalam Program Pertukaran Belia Antarabangsa. Kaedah kajian kualitatif telah dipilih untuk kajian ini. Data dikumpul melalui temu bual mendalam dengan lima bekas penilai Kementerian Belia dan Sukan dan bekas penilai daripada persatuan belia di Malaysia. Memandangkan Malaysia berada di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan, temu bual dijalankan melalui platform dalam talian seperti Google Meet. Secara keseluruhan, hasil kajian mendapati para penilai adalah cekap dalam mengendalikan tugas sebagai penilai. Tiada unsur diskriminasi jantina yang berlaku semasa proses pemilihan. In order to make sure the employees are continuously in high momentum and performance, the employees must be given sufficient rewards. This conceptual paper discusses on the employees performace and how it is influenced by rewards. In an occupational sector, rewards can be classified into two categories, which are intrinsic rewards and extrinsic rewards. Various literatures were studied and analyzed. The study found that most of employees performance, either positive or negative were influenced by the rewards they received. \u0000 \u0000Keperluan untuk meraih kejayaan dan mencapai matlamat yang dirancang, memaksa syarikat dan institusi untuk mengoptimumkan penggunaan pekerja, terutamanya mereka yang telah memperoleh pengalaman dalam bidang kerja mereka dalam persekitaran kerja tertentu. Bagi memastikan pekerja sentiasa berada dalam momentum dan prestasi yang tinggi, pekerja mesti diberi ganjaran yang mencukupi.
