It is widely used so people tend to expert in using various tools available on social media. It could be used for communication, discussions, making recommendations on web boards or chat. Therefore, social media has been applied in teaching and learning process in the current epidemic situation. In addition, video is one of the most popular type of media. It is able to present useful information for teaching and learning including text, images and animation. Students could perceive some knowledge in many ways trough looking and hearing. Currently, the video has been developed in form of a digital system that is easy to produce. Teachers can use a video camera, camera or camera on their smartphones to shoot digital video. After that, the digital video has been edited with a computer program in order to make the complete video with full of content that would be suitable in teaching. The teachers could post their videos on social media and let students come to study at any time. This research focuses on the study of learning achievement using social media and digital video of students in the faculty of Education. The sampling of the study were the university students in the faculty of Education, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University. The research instruments were social media, digital videos, questionnaires and the tests. The statistics used in the research were the Means, Standard Deviation and T-Test. The results of the study have been showed that students in the faculty of Education had higher learning achievement significantly.","PeriodicalId":241573,"journal":{"name":"2020 5th International STEM Education Conference (iSTEM-Ed)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117107817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

People use it for communication all over the world. It is necessary for students to improve their English skills, especially students in English teaching programs. They are able to develop their communication skills for their further studies and their future careers. Furthermore, English is used through myriads media and technologies including social media, applications, and websites. Computing and ICT literacy are also crucial skills. Blended Learning is applied in teaching and learning through media and technology in the form of online learning. Students can learn by themselves and gain knowledge from educational materials that teachers provided from numerous kinds of resources. In addition, Collaborative Learning is one of the most required skills in 21$^{st}$ century; it can assist students to learn through group process, teamwork, group activities, and exchanging knowledge with each other. Therefore, this research focused on blended learning and collaborative learning to develop English communication skills of the university students in English Teaching Program. The objective of this research was to determine the effectiveness of blended learning and collaborative learning upon English communication skills of English Teaching Program students. The sampling of this research was 23 English Teaching Program students in the Faculty of Education, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University. The research instruments were lesson plans, Pre-test and Post-test, and observation forms. The statistics employed in the research were Means, Standard Deviation (S.D.), and t-test. The results revealed that learning achievement of English communication skills after using the Blend Learning and collaborative learning was higher than before using the approach with statistically significant difference at.05 level. The levels of communication skills of English Teaching program students are in high levels $(overline{X} = 3.86)$. The results exposed positive results with outstanding effect. Consequently, the Blended Learning and the Collaborative Learning can be applied in English communication skill development. This research could be used as a guideline for English teachers to teach by using blended learning and support collaborative learning to develop students’ English abilities. Five steps in blended learning with collaborative learning upon English communication skills are: 1) giving source of information 2) making group of students 3) task assignments 4) consulting teacher and 5) creating and publishing their works.","PeriodicalId":241573,"journal":{"name":"2020 5th International STEM Education Conference (iSTEM-Ed)","volume":"636 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117092563","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This equivalent circuit, which is more compact than the previously reported and requires only passive elements, allows for simulations of circuits containing DC motors to be carried out using SPICE program. Simulation and experimental results are shown to be in good agreement with theoretical calculation. The concept of this new equivalent circuit contributes to the understanding of DC motor operation using basic electrical circuit analysis.","PeriodicalId":241573,"journal":{"name":"2020 5th International STEM Education Conference (iSTEM-Ed)","volume":"491 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127574772","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We utilize a CNN trained with a dataset containing rock-paperscissors hand gestures and unwanted inputs, and a multi-state Markov chain. Automated tests confirm the bot prediction capabilities and practical tests verify the precision of static hand gesture recognition. The research methodology begins with a survey collected from stakeholders based on the requirements of graduate’s users, then develops a simulation-based learning and teaching process called the RISDA learning model. The process comprises of 5 stages: R: Recall, I: Information, S: Simulation, D: Discussion, and A: Assessment. The research tools such as teacher manuals, activity plans, teaching materials and quizzes were designed. The results shown that the constructed research tools were suitable with the evaluated level of “very appropriate” (Mean equaled to 4.15) and the learners who completed the RISDA learning process were satisfied with the satisfactory level of “very satisfy” (Mean equal to 4.23). The learners had gained the expected learning outcomes that are aligned with the 21st Century learning skills and met the entrepreneurial needs.","PeriodicalId":241573,"journal":{"name":"2020 5th International STEM Education Conference (iSTEM-Ed)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128787945","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
