The trainees could learn as in real situations. It also decreases the cost and difficulty of training in real locations. VRSF has divided into 4 points which are solar farm, substation, control room, and battery charge chamber. In each point has an icon (i) to explain the information of the solar farm system in the format of the video, message, or picture. It also links to nearby placed locations upon the map defining and display via the website: www.vr-solarfarm.com. The result is found that VRFS for the solar energy training system is at a high-quality level, a mean value of 4.22 (S.D. value of 0.64). It was suitable and advantageous for solar energy training with satisfaction means the value at 4.26 (S.D. value of 0.58), at a high level. the learning achievement of the sample group found that the sample group was increased their knowledge after training up 80%. It is concluded that has good performance and suitable for use in training on the solar energy system. As COVID-19 became a widespread global crisis, educational institutions around the world were heavily impacted due to the government imposed lockdown and social distancing measures. Responses from various educational institutions varied from completely ceasing learning activities to adopting a fully online delivery mode. In the face of this sudden, disruptive shift, AU responded by switching its program delivery across all faculties to a fully online mode from the middle of March, 2020 until further notice. This significant undertaking involved anticipating challenges associated with online program delivery and acting accordingly to ensure the best possible outcome for all parties involved. Based on AU’s engineering faculty’s experience, the key challenges in effectively delivering online education appeared to be around technology infrastructure, learning curve, accessibility, effectiveness and suitability with specific course types, assessment of students’ performance, and exam integrity. We discuss the anticipated and actual challenges, as well as the measures that were taken by engineering faculty members and decision makers to make this online learning experience effective for all participants.","PeriodicalId":241573,"journal":{"name":"2020 5th International STEM Education Conference (iSTEM-Ed)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127727126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the qualitative part of the assessment, the instructions are written to test skills acquired after playing a game compared with the cognitive learning outcomes. This study use data collected from 66 third-year undergraduate university students in Thailand. The results show that game participants after playing the game can apply theoretical knowledge, break the game down to workable segments, use information to make decisions, act as leaders to make plans, take managerial roles and manage risk. A remarkable point is the ability for participants to identify conflicts in a team, and then use soft skills to manage conflicts and to solve problems by themselves.","PeriodicalId":241573,"journal":{"name":"2020 5th International STEM Education Conference (iSTEM-Ed)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129966738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this research using deep learning with supervise learning and create the mathematical model for air turbulence forecasting which could help to reduce the wastage that may affect to the passenger. The results, using 5 layers of deep learning (1 input layer, 3 hidden layers, and 1 output layer). The most suitable model consists of 9 features such as vertical speed, calibrated altitude, wind speed, wind direction (wind angle), temperature, latitude, longitude, true airspeed, and indicated airspeed. The output layer consists of 3 classes (class1=non-turbulence, class2=increase altitude, and class3=decrease altitude) and optimization the weight with gradient descent.
