The purposes of this paper are the comparison of the differences between the current CATC commercial pilot-airplane course and the course with EASA standards, and to be used as a guideline for the development of the CATC courses. This paper covers the course structure, the pattern for training examination and assessment, the organizational structure and staff, the instructional equipment and the facility requirements. Gap analysis methods and interviewing experts from CATC and from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) were used. As the results, the CATC course and the course with EASA standard are difference in 4 parts except the facility requirements. A Comparison Study Between CATC Commercial Pilot-Airplane Course and the Course with EASA Standards
