With his keen observation, rich imagination and inexhaustible creativity, he draws on the experience of African myths and legends, traces its origin to African culture, and presents an African picture with a combination of magic and realism. Based on Africa, Ben Okri portrays the real image of Africa from an objective and intuitive perspective. As the son of Africa, he tells a thought-provoking African story in an enlightening voice of Africa with a sense of responsibility, so as to realize his original intention of writing.","PeriodicalId":166253,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129972919","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

English websites of cross-border e-commerce, a form of technical communication, play an important role in the development of cross-border e-commerce enterprises, which is also one of the significant ways for China to go out to the world. Presently, the practicality and readability of domestic English websites for cross-border e-commerce are poor. This paper takes the “Electronic Products Introduction” of AliExpress as the research object compared with the Amazon platform, discussing the practicability of English websites for cross-border e-commerce in the process of technical communication. Concerning this issue, the authors put forward that the following three principles should be followed when designing English websites: First, mark the brand information of goods. Second, the words used in the commodity introduction should be accurate. Third, the order of commodity information should be orderly, aiming at helping global users get a better understanding of product information, and providing a better user experience, thus promoting Chinese cross-border e-commerce enterprises to go global.","PeriodicalId":166253,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124568664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To render Chinese Classics into English and introduce them to the west is a vitally important commission of medio-translatology. Chinese Classics-the crystallization of ancient Chinese wisdom-convey the most prominent fine cultures of Chinese nations, reflecting the overall needs of humanity and contributing to the civilization of world as a whole. With Chinese economy skyrocketing currently and Chinese international statue rising constantly, it is a must for Chinese Classics to go global and converge itself into the world civilization, serving the construction of a shared future for mankind.","PeriodicalId":166253,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"680 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122976474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In 1954, he went to study in the UK, having his theatrical talents exercised and improved. His works at this time mainly showed deep concern for the fate of his motherland, Nigeria. In 1964, in order to avoid political persecution, Soyinka was forced to flee to Europe and the United States, and the works at this time mainly expressed his criticism and struggles against the political dictatorship in Nigeria. These two diasporic experiences enabled Soyinka to integrate African and Western cultures into his w-orks and poetic theory. While absorbing the essence of human art, he resolutely returned to his home culture of Africa, creating a type of soul-shaking “ritual tragedy” and developing a unique theory of African tragedy.","PeriodicalId":166253,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128461637","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In terms of character setting, the white privilege rooted in historical reasons and the white centered hierarchical order gave way to the employment relationship dominated by the logic of capital. In terms of plot, the film reflected the civilization and progress of the logic of capital relative to racial privilege through the micro description of protagonist relationship and macro description of social environment. In the climax of the film, the logic of capital tamed the racial privilege people were reshaped individually and indiscriminately and instead of the racial privilege, the social relationship communication was dominated by the logic of capital. Ben Jonson was one of the English Renaissance playwrights who highly mentioned China and Chinese porcelain in his works. In his London comedy Epicene, or The Silent Woman, the “China House” where Chinese porcelain is displayed and sold, has taken on multiple metaphorical connotations, and become essential to understand the urban life of London in the Jacobean era. With a focus on “China House” as three metaphors, such as the booming commercial trade, a famous fashion center as well as the social Vanity Fair, this paper aims to reveal Jonson’s ambivalent attitudes towards London’s commercialism in the context of the early global trade.","PeriodicalId":166253,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123982839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From the perspective of Cognitive-schematic theory, Utopia could be defined as an adaptive mechanism triggered by the lack of sense of security. Such a mechanism is in effect a cognitive-affective schema within which the individual could construct idealized time-space, social relations, identity and alternative values. Through such a cognitive-affective schema, the individual could find it possible to satisfy the needs of emotional regulation, happiness pursuit and even social reformation.","PeriodicalId":166253,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121772287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
