These technologies are fully applicable to the railway electricity supply systems (RESS) which are mainly intended for the reliable high quality electricity supply of the traction consumers (trains) as well as non-traction and non-transport ones. For effective operation of the distributed generation plants, it is necessary to solve the problem of the optimal tuning automatic excitation regulators (AER) and automatic speed regulators (ASR), taking into account the specific features of RESS. The paper presents a description of an adaptive genetic algorithm for solving the problems of settings optimization for AER and ASR of the distributed plant turbine generators operating in RESS. It analyzes the history of the development of such systems, their structural and functional scheme. It is shown that modern automatic driving systems are two-contour and include a speed and time control and a program unit. The problem of synthesis of such a system lies in the choice of structure and algorithms of its units. The paper considers a formal statement of the search for an optimal control of train movement. It describes the main methods of its solution — based on the classical calculus of variations, maximum principle, dynamic programming and some of its solutions. It presents the graph of permissible switching optimal modes of conducting a train. For this purpose, a simple method of zero-sequence current simulation in line of two cables, based on the conversion of an electrical network scheme to the design scheme and use of the Electronics Workbench general-circuit simulation system is offered. The article presents switching performance estimations of 20 V and 100 V bus transfer voltage with mathematical prognostic functions in the form of approximation. AC volt-ampere characteristics are presented. Mathematical function of «Hot» rate of rise of dielectric strength of contact gap during arc quenching is presented. Different arc quenching technologies are described. It is noted that the sources and measuring sensors are spatially fixed on the a priori information on location and form of karst irregularities. The required accuracy and reliability of measurements may be ensured by means of controlling parameters of the probing signals. The algorithm for dynamic formation of the probing signals in a distributed system of the low-frequency electro-location monitoring of karst anomalies has been designed. This dynamic management of electrical installation in the registration of geodynamic changes in the geological basis of technical objects is based on a priori information on the form of karst heterogeneity and respectively selection of the elementary geo-electric model. These methods may be used at organization of regime for geodynamic observations, at design of geodynamic monitoring system in the area of the proposed karst suffusion.
