A special attention was derived to investigation of current breaking process duration at performed tests. The paper describes aspects of high current interruption with experimental results processing. The article presents switching performance estimations of 20 V and 100 V bus transfer voltage with mathematical prognostic functions in the form of approximation. AC volt-ampere characteristics are presented. Mathematical function of «Hot» rate of rise of dielectric strength of contact gap during arc quenching is presented. Different arc quenching technologies are described.
