In an e-learning environment, engagement can be used as a benchmark for evaluating learning activities because emotional involvement refers to students' affective reactions such as interest, boredom, confusion, or frustration. A person's emotions can be recognized through facial expressions. However, facial expression data of images have high dimensions, resulting in large computational time in the model learning process. To reduce computation time and data dimensions, feature extraction methods such as facial landmarks can be used. Therefore, this study aims to build an emotional engagement recognition system through facial landmarks by implementing the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method. Five facial landmarks and Euclidean distance between points and center point from the facial image dataset were detected which is then used as CNN training data. Based on the results of implementation and analysis, an average accuracy of 97.51% was obtained from CNN using five k-fold cross-validations. These results are compared with Deep Neural Network which achieved an average accuracy of 97.14% and SVM which achieved an average accuracy of 89.84%. The use of images as learning content is rarely well-presented as there was no attention given to how such images were produced. About this, Fine Art-Drawing Images are seen as a breakthrough; they have many types, and to use them as learning content, they must be clustered. Thus, this study aimed to determine and predict fine art-drawing images based on the characteristics of drawing techniques. The study used thirty images as input data in which each category (i.e., charcoal, chalk, pastel, pencil, pen and ink, and book illustration) consisted of five sample images. This study used the image analysis technique to process data with software orange data mining. This study revealed that there was a difference between the proportion of actual and proportion of predicted. Actual data were grouped by image technique only, while the prediction result considered image technique, texture, and image coloring. The similarity of drawing technique gives the result of predictive data, which is different from actual data. Besides, it is also functioned to help the students who might be failed. In this study, we proposed a regression-based early prediction of student achievement. The prediction system utilized the data from last semester to predict the final score of the students in the current semester. The proposed approach was tested in two scenarios. First, predicting the final score directly and the second is predicting the final exam score continued by final score calculation by using predefined formula. The experiment result shows that overall, the second scenario produces a better result than the first scenario. The SVR-Linear achieves the highest performance in the first scenario with 3.56 MAE, 0.048 MAPE, 17.63 MSE, 4.2 RMSE, and 0.781 R-squared. Early diagnosis of melanoma could help increase the survival rate, making it essential for early identification. However, melanoma diagnosis is subjective and complex, making it difficult to be detected. Many machine learning algorithms were developed to help with melanoma diagnosis automation in the last decade. Those algorithms include K-Nearest Neighbor, Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, Artificial Neural Network, Support Vector Machine, and Deep Learning. The relevant data of the placements of MBA graduates are gathered before and after COVID-19. Data analysis is performed to assess the impact. A significant impact of COVID-19 is found on the placement data of MBA graduates across India. It is found that due to Covid, the MBA job placements are down. However, it cannot be ascertained the cause of the fall of the placement due to Covid. The fall of placements can be due to a reduction in the jobs per se or due to a poor teaching-learning process during the period. The former cause is the limitation of the current study and can be taken up in the future. The latter cause of the fall of placements due to COVID-19 provides us with a few cogent implications. The whole teaching-learning process should be graduated and upgraded to incorporate the online process, which includes dissemination of knowledge, assessment, and examination via online platforms. In several studies, humans listen to music for several reasons, one of them being as an emotion controller. However, only a few studies are made to examine the relationship between musical style preferences and the emotions they evoke when they hear the music. This study would like to determine whether musical style preferences affect the emotions felt when hearing the music. We conducted this research by creating a web application that retrieves data from the data set, and then participants will fill in several questions in the web application. From the data that has been collected with a total of 140 participants, 84 male participants and 56 female participants, the data were processed using SPSS with the Cramer's V method. When compared for both gender, musical style preferences have a weak or no relationship with human emotion with a yield of p < 0.001.
