The announcements of music groups are analyzed and the linguistic means of influence in the announcements are proved. The main groups of language means are distinguished: graphic, lexical-semantic and stylistic. The main graphic means of language influence in the announcement are abbreviations, numerals and foreign language inclusions. Of the lexical and semantic means of influence, the most widely presented in the news announcement are emotionally expressive vocabulary and one's own name. Syntactic features are due to the journalistic style of speech: mostly simple sentences are used. It is substantiated that multimedia is a characteristic feature of Internet communication, which provides polycoding of electronic announcements – the ability to transmit information not only through verbal text, but also with the use of nonverbal means.","PeriodicalId":113251,"journal":{"name":"Odessa National University Herald. The structural, semantic and linguo-pragmatic parameters of tweets in the Ukrainian-language and English-language communicative environment are determined. It is presented interpretation of the lyrical plot of the poem «Reflection» in accordance with the inheritance and transformation of P. Barskova's traditions of the image of the intimate as a factor of nostalgic worldview. In a lyrical plot is revealed the authorial point of view on correlation of themes of intimacy and musicality. Transformations of erotic codes are analysed in accordance with actualization of musicality by authorial consciousness of the poetess. The study is comprehended the author's view of the world in the text of «Reflection». An interpretation of the lyrical plot is presented in accordance with the inheritance and transformation of P. Barskov's traditions of the image of the intimate using the semantic potential of mirroring. The magical nature of the object turned into a mirror is due to the originality of the female view in the lyrical plot of P. Barskova, reflecting both the memory of the erotic experience and the ability to transform the surrounding space, their personal memories and feelings. The semiotization of personal erotic experience carried out in the consciousness of the lyrical heroine, correlates with the reflection and mythologization of intimacy, modeling the nostalgic discourse of the palimpsest consciousness of a modern emigrant poet. The field of study included such indicators of the poetess's nostalgic discourse as author codes, erotic connotations, phenomena of mirroring and musicality and their symbolic potential, semiotization of passions.","PeriodicalId":113251,"journal":{"name":"Odessa National University Herald. The main tasks specified: 1) to form the lexical-semantic field of the lexeme ‘aggression’ on the basis of the dictionary definitions; 2) to develop the associative field of the lexeme-stimulus ‘aggression’ based on the based on the results of the associative experiment; 3) to expand the developed field structure according to the comparative analysis of the formed fields; 4) to clarify the structure of the lexical-semantic field ‘aggression’ using the material of the social media texts.\u0000The object of the research is the semantic content of the lexeme ‘aggression’, and the subject is the lexico-semantic and associative fields of the said lexeme.\u0000Lexicographic sources, the associative experiment and the Ukrainian-speaking segment of the social network Facebook as of 2021 serve as the main source base of the study.\u0000At the first stage, the lexicographic sources were analyzed, and it was discovered that the interpretation of aggression as an armed attack of one state towards another is primary. However, modern dictionaries extend the meaning of this lexeme to the area of human relationships and the environment. It was established that the physical component of the concept of aggression prevails in the dictionaries of synonyms, while the lexeme-stimulus ‘aggression’ isn’t present in the associative dictionaries. Taking this into account, the core and the periphery of the lexical-semantic field ‘aggression’ were defined.\u0000At the second stage, a linguistic associative experiment was carried out. The experiment involved 90 people, a total of 90 responses to the stimulus ‘aggression’ were obtained, 44 of which were unique. Based on those, the core and the periphery of the associative field ‘aggression’ were developed, taking into account the criteria of non-random association.\u0000At the third stage, the lexical-semantic and the associative fields were compared, and it was discovered that the dictionary definitions of the lexeme ‘aggression’ only partially correlate with the resulting associates.\u0000At the final stage, the discourse in the social networks was analyzed. Based on the comparative analysis of the vocabulary definitions, the associative experiment and the analysis of the social media texts, seven main lexical-semantic groups were identified, forming the lexical-semantic field of ‘aggression’: \"Feelings\", \"Manifestation of feelings\", \"State of hostility\", \"Violent act\", \"Object of aggression\", \"Aggressor\", \"Colors\".\u0000The proposed structure is subjective, therefore the improvement of the given lexical-semantic field is considered the next top priority.","PeriodicalId":113251,"journal":{"name":"Odessa National University Herald. The specificity of the organization of \"speech forms\" is investigated. Attention is paid to architectonics and the proportional relationship of various \"speech forms\". The focus is on the stories of L. M. Tolstoy of the late period of his work. The main functions of direct speech in these works are revealed: the definition of character traits of the hero, his retinue, the era to which he belongs. We are also talking about the connection between the linguistic and plot levels of L. M. Tolstoy's stories, any of which is an artistic system and a separate artistic world. The linguistic organization of Tolstoy's stories is investigated, namely, the connections between individual parts of the text, paragraphs. Attention is drawn to the place of dialogical, as well as disordered language in the stories. The role of internal monologues has been studied (reflection of the process of reflection of heroes, the struggle of different motives of behavior, the doubling of consciousness, etc). The author of the article substantiates the conclusion that L. Tolstoy turned logical inner speech into a special, powerful means of analysis with immediate reliability: a person analyzes himself using dismembered formulations. The article also examines the relationship between the \"speech\" and \"plot\" structures of the work of L. Tolstoy.","PeriodicalId":113251,"journal":{"name":"Odessa National University Herald. It has been established that both literary critics and linguists have paid attention to the study of paratext. It has been found that paratextual elements (title, epigraph, subtitle, preface, afterword) become a threshold for the reader to the main text. The meaning of the double title in the novel (two semantic centers – the Six Days and the Crown) was considered. Emphasis is placed on the role of dedication to Igor Pasichnyk in the work (thanks for the idea of writing and reflection on the possibility of understanding history). The functions – integrative, inspiring, declarative and performative – are distinguished. The function of integration is realized as calls to unite the Ukrainian people and appeal to the people as a single community. The inspiring function is to form state values and calls for a better future that has a long historical tradition. In the inaugural speech, this function is subordinated to the integral structural and compositional element, which is quite a large semantic block. Inspirational function is manifested in Ukrainian in two forms: praise of historical events and traditions and criticism of the experience of predecessors. The declarative function is to formulate the principles on which the new president will work, ie the program part of the inaugural speech is subordinated to it. The performative function indicates that the new president swears allegiance to the people, swears to take care of the country and acts as the leader of the state.","PeriodicalId":113251,"journal":{"name":"Odessa National University Herald.
