The typology of speech genres of legislative discourse in Ukrainian legal communication is presented. Speech genres such as law, constitution, decree, code and bylaw are analyzed. Linguo-pragmatic parameters were chosen as criteria for the typology – communicative intention and communicative positions of the speaker and the addressee.
