This phenomenon is examined here. This is done from a perspective that comes under the heading of the Critical Management Studies - whose epistemological and pragmatic aims of denaturalizing practices are retained. It is shown that what is commonly held as obvious is not, and what is considered inevitable is also not. Our research provides four contributions: i) it points to the existence of a largely unnoticed resistance on the part of marketing practitioners - a problem of socio-cultural acceptance of the anglicization of commercial communication; ii) it analyses the grammars of criticism, the moral conventions diversely mobilized in the contestation; iii) it elucidates the moral emotions that animate this contestation at the deepest level; iv) it completes these analyses by examining the moral imagination (metaphorical representations) that organize it","PeriodicalId":51434,"journal":{"name":"Management International Review","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135600061","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We conduct regression analysis using panel data of Spanish manufacturing SMEs from the PITEC database. Our evidence confirms that the combination of the status of incumbent exporters and of the open search strategy allows SMEs to improve their productivity. This effect is particularly acute when firms are domestically-owned and when they acquire market-oriented information. We contribute to the literature on the relationship between export and productivity by showing that export status matters, and by introducing openness into the discussion.","PeriodicalId":51434,"journal":{"name":"Management International Review","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135838246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cet article vise à y répondre en proposant une modélisation dynamique sous forme de sous-écosystèmes. Nous enrichissons la littérature sur les systèmes complexes adaptatifs, en introduisant les notions de quasi-décomposabilité et de redondance chères à Simon. Nous revisitons l’EE à partir d’une grille conceptuelle combinant lecture structurelle et dynamique. Notre étude empirique exploratoire et illustrative montre comment les sous-écosystèmes et leurs interactions ont contribué à la dynamique entrepreneuriale dans le territoire de Montpellier. Cet article permet de renforcer la théorisation de l’EE et de formuler des préconisations utiles pour les décideurs politiques dans la conception de leur politique d’entrepreneuriat.","PeriodicalId":51434,"journal":{"name":"Management International Review","volume":"23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":4.3,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84508697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Des données sont recueillies auprès d’individus à l’aide d’une enquête et d’entretiens afin d’identifier les différents types de comportement des internautes, pour développer un modèle de la culture numérique qui montre les effets du contexte culturel sur le contexte sociomatériel, et la manière dont ces facteurs peuvent être employés pour expliquer le comportement des internautes. Les résultats donnent une vision contemporaine qui peut informer les entreprises qui opèrent sur ces marchés afin d’exploiter l’interactivité numérique.","PeriodicalId":51434,"journal":{"name":"Management International Review","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":4.3,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83033592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Assessing the knowledge complexity and revealed competitive advantage (RCA) of local industries, entrepreneurs and policymakers can identify the most prominent ones and implement competitive strategy accordingly. Complementarily, they can attract FDI inflows in non-RCA structural hole sectors of close knowledge proximity with existing RCA sectors in the product space network. In the case study of Laval, Canada, we conduct quantitative product space network analysis and qualitative thematic analysis on the semistructured interviews with entrepreneurs and policymakers to address these points.","PeriodicalId":51434,"journal":{"name":"Management International Review","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135909705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"管理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
