Pour les motiver et les retenir, certaines entreprises adoptent l’approche local-plus pour les rémunérer. Cette étude explore la satisfaction des retournés à l’égard de l’approche localplus et tente d’identifier les facteurs clés qui influencent leur satisfaction. L’étude a révélé que la satisfaction des retournés à l’égard de cette approche varie considérablement. Leur satisfaction n’est pas toujours en corrélation avec les intérêts des rémunérations. Les résultats indiquent que l’effet indirect des pratiques d’évaluation sur les initiatives proenvironnementales via le soutien organisationnel perçu est plus fort lorsque les employé.es se sentent environnementalement soutenu.es par leur supérieur immédiat. Sur un plan managérial, l’échange des ressources favorise la fonction évaluatrice des efforts et renforce la motivation individuelle pour les initiatives pro-environnementales. We are developing a theoretical framework based primarily on the advantages and the liabilities of intra- and inter-regional geographic contexts. This theoretical framework helps to explain the international growth superiority of intra-regionalization over inter-regionalization, and furthermore, the mechanisms by which intra-regional similarities, inter-regional differences, and the degree of international commitments interact to drive the growth of intra- and inter-regional firms. Our study contributes to this debate by examining the potential benefits of adopting liberation management, a typical management innovation when it comes to addressing a social performance gap. If employee empowerment is regarded as a lever of social performance in liberated companies, the extant literature does not reach a consensus on these alleged positive effects either. We argue instead that each trajectory of social acceptance (or lack thereof) is unique. This article demonstrates this through a qualitative analysis of three controversial projects: Matoush uranium mining (2006-2020), Facebook’s cryptocurrency (2017-2021), and Covid-19 vaccination (2020-2021). We develop an analytical framework that conceptualizes social acceptance as a dynamic trajectory of legitimation and justification revolving around three pillars: eco-traditional, symbolic, and technical. Our research mobilizes six scenarios that reproduce typical purchasing situations in France and China. A sample of 366 professional purchasers (203 French and 163 Chinese) was used to examine the six characteristics of the decision-making process developed by Jones (1991). Our research indicates that Chinese purchasers recognize ethical issues more than French purchasers and intend to act in a more ethical way regarding one dimension defined: proximity. We conducted the content analysis and an evolution map of this research field on a sample of 395 articles published in Web of Science (1991-2017). We take part in the debate on the phenomenon of corruption by interviewing twenty-seven auditors. Plus spécifiquement, nous étudions empiriquement les conséquences de l’internationalisation par l’export et la filiale sur le ratio d’endettement bancaire. En s’appuyant sur un échantillon de PME, nos résultats montrent que les PME exportatrices ont plus de difficultés à obtenir des dettes bancaires contrairement à celles qui ont des filiales à l’étranger. Nous constatons également que l’intensité d’exportation des PME est négativement associée à leurs ratios d’endettement bancaire. En outre, nos résultats montrent aussi que la proximité géographique des filiales étrangères avec leurs maisons mères est positivement associée au ratio d’endettement bancaire.
