In this context, a large number of institutions have emerged that provide certification services for higher education. This article mainly focuses on two cross-disciplinary certification bodies, the Professional Accreditation and Quality Assurance Agency (AQAS) and the Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN), to analyze the commonalities and differences between the two certification bodies from the perspectives of standard formulation and expert review. The results indicate that in terms of standard formulation, ACQUIN emphasizes the improvement of the quality system of the profession itself, while AQAS focuses on the positioning and characteristics of a certain profession in relevant industry fields. In terms of expert evaluation, ACQUIN and AQAS have different focuses on ensuring program fairness and expert selection. ACQUIN values the evaluation ability of experts, while AQAS places greater emphasis on their academic background.","PeriodicalId":492278,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific journal of humanities and social sciences","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135485787","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Expressionism, as an important school of western literature, focuses on intuition and emphasizes performance. Their works focus on the expression of emotions, using a variety of artistic means to reflect the people’s inner activities and mental state, while ignoring the description of the form of the object, often in the form of distortion and abstraction of reality. Therefore, in the works of expressionist writers and artists, abstract, deformation, symbol, illusion and so on are presented. Chinese ancient literature also attached great importance to expression, but the view of expression in expressionism literature was obviously different from that in traditional Chinese poetics. These differences are influenced not only by the time factors, but also by the national cultural differences. Through the comparative study of the two, we can find the differences and connections of expression between Expressionism and Chinese traditional poetics and promote the further development of the expression theory in contemporary Chinese literature.","PeriodicalId":492278,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific journal of humanities and social sciences","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135485579","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper adopts three new learning theories such as Cognitivism, Connectivism and Heutagogy, which are considered to be computer-typed or net-aware. A Contrast is made from their theoretical bases, viewpoints and shortcomings. Cognitivism believes that study occurs in the mind while Connectivism holds that study occurs mainly out of the mind. And Heutagogy stresses the subjective initiative of the learners. From appropriateness and integration, and based on new learning theories, this paper proposes four principles for the construction of online courses, which hopes to be instructive to it.","PeriodicalId":492278,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific journal of humanities and social sciences","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135485783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is urgent to improve the quality of translation for the cross-border e-commerce industry when the translation demand is soaring. Commodities are exposed and introduced to foreign buyers through online promotions on cross-border e-commerce platforms, since their translation can affect click-through rates, sales and images of Chinese sellers. Eco-translatology, which combines ecology and translation, provides a theoretical basis for many disciplines and fields. Taking footwear as an example, this study analyzes problems in current translation through the comparative analysis of commodity promotions on Amazon in the United States and AliExpress in China, two major cross-border e-commerce platforms. Then it studies the English translation of online product promotions from the three-dimensional transformation in terms of language, culture and communication under the guidance of Eco-translatology to put forward some suggestions for the online product promotions translation. It aims to provide references for Chinese sellers to engage in cross-border e-commerce and help enterprises and commodities go global successfully.","PeriodicalId":492278,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific journal of humanities and social sciences","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135485785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper analyzes the specific peritexts of the English translations of this classic, including the preface, annotations, and other forms of peritexts. The results show that the peritexts such as preface and annotations can help construct a rich interpretation field, reveal the translator’s translation motivation, and effectively improve the accuracy and acceptability of the translated text. Furthermore, the length of the peritexts reflects the translator’s need to interpret the original text and further shows differences between translations. It is hoped that this study can shed light on translation research and practice of the Maritime Silk Road classics and provide a new direction for the study of paratexts in the future.","PeriodicalId":492278,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific journal of humanities and social sciences","volume":"140 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135485578","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Professor Zhang’s opinion, the English translation of Chinese poetry, broadly speaking, is divided into two schools: metrical school and liberal school, and there are poems translated in metrical style and liberal style, mixed with both good and bad ones. Being poetic, or poetry itself, is the most important point. In the interview, Professor Zhang expressed his hope to be friends with the students majoring in translation and make joint efforts in the globalization of Chinese culture and literature. It is his belief that the English translation of Chinese poems shall be poems themselves, and excellent poems in the English world, which, ideally, are published by the prestigious publishing houses in Western countries, hopefully, to exert influences on the readers. This is the ultimate goal of the globalization of Chinese culture and literature.","PeriodicalId":492278,"journal":{"name":"Asia-Pacific journal of humanities and social sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135485570","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
