One form of learning media is animated video. Animated video aims to help students understand a subject matter through animated videos that are audio-visual in nature, which will display images, sounds and also a series of subject matter in it. In this research that has been done using the ADDIE model, it was found that the animated video learning media using Adobe Flash as a food content test practicum supplement is very valid with a percentage of 90.50% and can be used as one of the teaching materials in practical activities. abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sudah sangat pesat, sehingga media pembelajaran sudah sangat beragam dan dapat membantu terlaksananya proses kegiatan pembelajaran dengn baik. Salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran adalah video animasi. Video animasi bertujuan untuk membantu peserta didik memahami suatu materi pelajaran melalui video animasi yang bersifat audio-visual, dimana akan menampilkan gambar, suara dan juga rangkaian materi pelajaran didalamnya. This research was conducted at the Department of Public Health, University of Jambi in the fifth semester students with an interest in environmental health with a total of 37 students. The research design was in the form of a quasi-experimental class involving the experimental class and the control class. The instrument used is a test sheet with indicators to measure thinking ability and creativity, a communication skill test sheet and an assessment report sheet. Data were collected twice through pre-test and post-test. Processing and data analysis using Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that most of the students were still less active during lectures using the conventional / lecture method, as many as 15 people (40.5%). Students only pay attention, remain silent and there are no questions or comments related to the lecture material presented. The results of the statistical test showed that the p.value was 0.000, the p value < α (0.05), which means that there is a difference in student learning outcomes using the conventional / lecture method using the CBL method. This means that there is an effect of giving the CBL learning method on the thinking ability (learning outcomes) of fifth semester students with an interest in environmental health, majoring in public health sciences, FKIK Jambi University in vector control and rodent courses. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the case-based learning model is expected to increase students' creativity and thinking skills and hone communication skills by being actively involved in a complex learning process based on case studies. Key words: Case based learning, creativity, thinking skills, vectors and rodents ASBTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan kreativitas dan kemampuan berpikir siswa antara penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kasus dan pembelajaran konvensional pada mata kuliah pengendalian vektor dan hewan pengerat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jurusan Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Jambi pada mahasiswa semester V peminatan kesehatan lingkungan dengan jumlah 37 mahasiswa. Desain penelitian ini berupa kelas eksperimen semu yang melibatkan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar tes dengan indikator untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir dan kreativitas, lembar tes keterampilan komunikasi dan lembar laporan penilaian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dua kali melalui pre-test dan post-test. Pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa masih kurang aktif pada saat perkuliahan menggunakan metode konvensional/ceramah yaitu sebanyak 15 orang (40,5%). Hasil validasi media oleh ahli media dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, diperoleh presentase skor 87,2% “Sangat Baik” dan validasi materi oleh ahli materi dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, diperoleh presentase skor 88,61% “Sangat Baik” Hasil penilaiaian guru diperoleh presentase 83,75% “Sangat Baik” Sedangkan penilaian kelompok kecil dan besar diperoleh presentase skor 88,1% dan 89,6% dengan “Sangat Baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk e-learning menggunakan schoology yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi. This study uses the RnD research method, with the ADDIE model used as a development model. (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The types of data in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. Data collection techniques used essay test sheets, needs analysis, expert validation and practitioner validation. While the data analysis technique was carried out using qualitative analysis to determine the validity of the instrument items based on critical thinking from experts and quantitative analysis which included validity and reliability tests at each stage. Based on the results that 1) the process of developing critical thinking-based essay item products has been carried out properly by following research procedures. 2) The teacher's perception of critical thinking-based essay items has a very good category and is feasible for testing. 3) students' perceptions of critical thinking-based essay questions have a good category and are feasible to try out. 4) the effectiveness of critical thinking-based essay items in biology subject matter of environmental change in obtaining the average pretest score of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Muaro Jambi, namely 67.30. While the acquisition of students' posttest scores increased, namely 77.63. Meanwhile, the average pretest score for class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Muaro Muaro Jambi was 56.63. While the acquisition of students' posttest scores increased, namely 70.17. These results indicate that there is a difference in the average value of the critical thinking ability of class X SMA Negeri 9 and X SMA Negeri 4 Jambi before the pretest and after the posttest based on critical thinking items. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking pada mata pelajaran biologi materi perubahan lingkungan di kelas X SMA Negeri Se-Sungai Bahar Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan motede penelitaian RnD, dengan model ADDIE digunakan sebagai model pengembangan. (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, dan (5) evaluasi. This study aims to develop android-based interactive multimedia about valid animalia material for class X. Students. This research is a research and development using a 4D development model. The reserach subjects consisted of two biology lecturers at Padang State University and one biology teacher at SMAN 10 batanghari as validators in interactive multimedia. The instrument used to collect data is in the form of a validation questionnaire, to assess the product that has been made. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of android-based interactive multimedia about animalia material, an averge value of 92,1% was obtained with very valid criteria. In the validity test on this interactive multimedia, it is assessed that it consists of four components, namely the feasibility of content, language, presentation, and graphics. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis android tentang materi animala untuk peserta didik kelas X yang valid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua orang dosen biologi Universitas Negeri Padang dan satu orang guru biologi SMAN 10 Batanghari sebagai validator pada multimedia interaktif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa angket validasi, untuk menilai produk yang telah dibuat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari multimedia interaktif berbasis android tentang materi animalia didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 92,1% dengan kriteria sangat valid. As information technology develops, written tests using paper media have changed to online-based tests. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data source for this research was obtained directly from teachers and students using interviews, survey questionnaires, and documentation results. The results of the study show that the online test applications used in Biology lessons at Jambi City Public High Schools are Google Forms, Google Classroom, Edmodo and e-exam applications. The online exam application is used during daily tests, midterm exams and final semester exams. The advantages of the online exam application used are that it does not use paper, fast, saves money, effort and time, exam results can be known quickly. Then the weakness is having to use a stable internet network, requiring internet quota and it is difficult to prevent students from cheating when exams are carried out at home. The obstacle felt by the teacher is that the exam questions must be typed one by one in the application, not all students have an Android smartphone, if the device has too many applications it will take a long time to open the exam application. And the network often lags. The effectiveness of implementing online exam applications is effective in technical terms such as speed of processing time, effort and cost. However, online exam applications are less effective in terms of increasing student learning outcomes and honesty. In general, the responses of teachers and students showed a positive response, respectively 70.52% and 65.78% with good criteria. Abstrak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi ujian online yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Jambi adalah Google Form, Google Classroom, Edmodo dan Aplikasi e-ujian. Aplikasi ujian online digunakan pada saat ulangan harian, ujian tengah semester dan ujian akhir semester. Kelebihan dari aplikasi ujian online yang digunakan adalah tidak menggunakan kertas, cepat, hemat biaya, tenaga dan waktu, hasil ujian dapat diketahui dengan cepat. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The method used to collect data is through distributing questionnaires to class XI students and distributing questionnaires to biology teachers. The results of the questionnaire and student analysis showed that the excretory system material was one of the materials considered constrained in learning. In learning, students are often monotonous without any interaction with their classmates, so variations in teaching materials are needed so that students are more active in learning and socially active. One solution to this problem is to develop teaching materials in the form of student worksheets based on valid and practical think pair and share syntax. Jenis penelitian ini adalag deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu melalui penyebaran angket kepada peserta didik kelas XI dan penyebaran angket kepada guru biologi. Hasil analisis angket dan peserta didik menunjukan bahwa materi sistem ekskresi merupakan salah satu materi yang dianggap terkendala dalam pembelajaran. Dalam pembelajaran seringkali peserta didik monoton tanpa adanya interaksi dengan teman kelasnya, sehingga diperlukan variasi dalam bahan ajar agar peserta didik lebih giat belajar dan aktif dalam sosial. Salah satu solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah dengan mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis sintaks think pair and share yang valid dan praktis. This study used a quantitative approach with the type of research used was pre-experimental design. the research design used was one-group pretest-posttest. The data were analyzed quantitatively using gain score and criteria determination. The results showed that the effectiveness of textbooks on students' science literacy obtained an n-gain score of 0.48 with a medium category and students' environmental care attitudes obtained an n-gain score of 0.28 with a low category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the teaching book for insect communities based on problem-based learning is effective in improving students' science literacy skills and environmental care attitudes. Key words: Textbook, Problem Based Learning, Science Literacy, Environmental Care Attitude ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektivan buku ajar komunitas serangga berbasis problem based learning terhadap keterampilan literasi sains dan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif dengan Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimental desain. desain penelitian yang digunakan one-group pretest-posttest. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan gain score dan dilakukan penentuan kriteria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keefektivan buku ajar terhadap literasi sains mahasiswa memperoleh skor n-gain 0,48 dengan kategori sedang dan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa memperoleh memperoleh skor n-gain 0,28 dengan kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar komunitas serangga berbasis problem based learning efektif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan literasi sains dan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa. Sumber belajaar yang diberikan guru berupa buku paket biologi, power point, LKPD, dll, namun hasil belajar mereka cenderung tetap, sehingga sangat diperlukan adanya variasi media pembelajaran.
