The STudent Advisor/Mentorship Program for Pediatrics (STAMPPed) program was an innovative strategy established to support graduate nursing students with little to no pediatric clinical experience who demonstrated an interest in becoming pediatric nurse practitioners. The program provided structured guidance and support from experienced pediatric nursing faculty through monthly group meetings and the formulation of one-to-one student-faculty mentoring dyads. To achieve this goal, focus groups and interviews were organized for middle school students (seventh to ninth grade) and community members with a stake in education. The outcomes of these discussions revealed crucial themes: limited knowledge of educational pathways, constraints posed by limited community resources, and a strong yearning for a mentorship program that is both informative and interactive. High attrition rates are noted among students who screen for psychological distress.</p><p><strong>Method: </strong>A quantitative descriptive design was utilized with a convenience sample of 202 students. Psychological distress was correlated with perceived stress and educational environment. Regression analysis was used to analyze the data.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Psychological distress was reported in 45 percent of the sample. A significant positive relationship between being married and experiencing reduced psychological distress was found. We implemented several undergraduate and graduate nursing and interprofessional teaching strategies to increase student knowledge of a WFPB diet and help nurses improve patient outcomes through assimilation. In this study, nurse educators explored students' perspectives on effective teaching practices, what influences medication errors and near misses, and strategies for improving students' learning about medication administration. Students ranked nursing instructors, peers, and staff nurses as having the greatest positive impact on both their learning and patient safety. Good relationships, an appropriate pace of learning, and practice were also beneficial. Of 1,847 participants, 175 had not previously completed a CPR course.</p><p><strong>Method: </strong>Schools could choose the sequence for completing baselines skills and required e-learning modules. For baseline skills, participants did 60 compressions and 12 continuous ventilations with RQI feedback turned off. Self-report competence and confidence in CPR skills data were collected.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Forty-five percent of participants achieved passing scores on adult ventilations and compressions; 31 percent achieved passing scores on infant compressions, and 34 percent on ventilations. Outcomes were compared for intraprofessional versus interprofessional team participation.</p><p><strong>Background: </strong>Nursing students must learn strategies to address SDOH, but this content is not well integrated in curricula. Teaming Up for Community Health was created to provide SDOH experiential team learning.</p><p><strong>Method: </strong>Eighty-five nursing students participated in the intraprofessional comparison group or interprofessional intervention group. Surveys were completed before and after the intervention and two months later.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Participants had heightened empathy and commitment to addressing SDOH at baseline. Interprofessional teamwork beliefs and behaviors improved for both groups.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Experiential learning about SDOH should focus on improving students' self-confidence and performance. Communities continue to need nurses who can respond effectively during times of disaster. A one-credit course was developed to provide a collaborative and engaging approach to prepare students for disaster and mass casualty situations. Student evaluation responses regarding all segments of the course indicate satisfaction and quality learning.
