It is argued that the internal life of this community was determined by rules and constitutions, defining tasks and areas of specific activity, adapted to the requirements in force after the Council of Trent. Attention is focused on intra-Community relations expressed in the commonly used “family” nomenclature (prioress, subprioress, circus worker, librarian, sacristan, cellarer, vestiress, guest sister, doorkeeper, mother, spiritual daughter), presented in the manuscript Acts of the splendid Premonstratensian order… The community of Norbertine nuns in Zwierzyniec was based on a spiritual bond, responsibility for each other, duties that were religiously motivated, modeled on the family, and built on the basis of sisterly love and obedience. The reflection also covered the handwritten meditations of Norbertine nuns and printed ascetic and mystical writings from the 17th century, stored in the archives of Zwierzyniec, testifying to the religious fervor of the artists and the need for collective prayer effort of the community.","PeriodicalId":445064,"journal":{"name":"Bibliotekarz Podlaski Ogólnopolskie Naukowe Pismo Bibliotekoznawcze i Bibliologiczne","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131932611","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both refer to well-known and established in traditional motifs and threads, which were not only recalled but also interpreted according to the technique of constructing sermons. In the preacher’s narratives, Joseph is a pious and just man, prudent, living in purity, whose life will be elevated and transferred into the realm of mystery. Predicants show the figure of Joseph primarily as a participant in the mystery of salvation.","PeriodicalId":445064,"journal":{"name":"Bibliotekarz Podlaski Ogólnopolskie Naukowe Pismo Bibliotekoznawcze i Bibliologiczne","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133885198","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article presents a brief overview of the history of the arrangement of collections of texts of ancient Belarusian literature, beginning with the edition of Bronislav Epimach-Szypillo’s Belaruskaâ hrèsta-matyâ . Separate considerations are devoted to the chrestomathy edited by Alex ander Korshunov (1959), which was a landmark textbook that was simultaneously important for Belarusian historical-literary research and Belarusian literature didactics. The concept of the Bialystok textbook is compared with the scholarly approaches of Bela-rusian literary historians of the previous period, starting with Maksim Harecki. The innovativeness of Halina Twaranovich’s approaches in arranging the chresto mathy was emphasized, as well as the possibility of linking her scientific ideas with the theory of cultural memory, with Pierre Nora’s concept of “place of me mory”","PeriodicalId":445064,"journal":{"name":"Bibliotekarz Podlaski Ogólnopolskie Naukowe Pismo Bibliotekoznawcze i Bibliologiczne","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123557309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Oleg Bembel is known as a dissident philosopher, and author of the book Native Language and Moral and Aesthetic Progress (Родная мова і маральна-эстэтычны прагрэс, London, 1985), and also as a poet-monk, author of religious-patriotic and religious-prayer poems under the pseudonym Znich. The early secular lyrics of Oleg Bembel, published in the collective poetry collection Wing (Крыло, Minsk, 1984), are considered in the article: 1) as an important element in reproducing the creative evolution of the famous poet; 2) as an example of the intellectual and philosophical trend in the Belarusian poetry of the 80s. 20th century; 3) as valuable material for studying the relationship between censorship and artistic creation in Soviet Belarus and totalitarian society as a whole. It is difficult to compare the early philosophical and intimate lyrics of Oleg Bembel (Znich) with his dissident and religious poems in “samizdat” and emigration publications, but it can also be considered a manifestation of nonconformism.","PeriodicalId":445064,"journal":{"name":"Bibliotekarz Podlaski Ogólnopolskie Naukowe Pismo Bibliotekoznawcze i Bibliologiczne","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130368771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The drama, which is the basis for the performance of Andrey Kureichik, is a story about the contemporary situation in Belarus, elections, persecution, and dictatorship. The subject of the analysis is Halina Twaranowicz’s spiritual poetry. Her poems can be described as a conversation between the human soul and God, some of them resemble a prayer. Twaranowicz’s spirituality is transcendental, at the same time filled with the joy of earthly life which accepts the greatest gift possible. Reflections on repentance and its importance in human life constitute a large part. The lyrical character believes that all suffering and problems are the destiny of man. Twaranowicz’s lyrics are characterized by philosophical reflections on the meaning of human life. Her poems are a journey into herself, her spiritual gaze is directed toward getting to know the inner “I”, which has found a point of support in Eternity.","PeriodicalId":445064,"journal":{"name":"Bibliotekarz Podlaski Ogólnopolskie Naukowe Pismo Bibliotekoznawcze i Bibliologiczne","volume":"240 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116761440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Numerous letters addressed to the sisters (Sophie, Hedwig), brother (Sigismund August), and son-in-law (Sigismund III Vasa) reveal Anna’s concern for different aspects of family life: health, morality, the situation of the members of the dynasty. For Anna, correspondence was a form of confession, an opportunity to complain about various problems. The letters of the Infanta of the Kingdom of Poland contain, sometimes verbalized, sometimes hidden emotions and expectations. They certainly had a therapeutic effect and helped their author in struggling with everyday problems and replacing personal contacts with her family.","PeriodicalId":445064,"journal":{"name":"Bibliotekarz Podlaski Ogólnopolskie Naukowe Pismo Bibliotekoznawcze i Bibliologiczne","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127207907","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After the death of his three children: Stefan, Zofia, and Jerzy he created Periody and Smutne zabawy, expressing sorrow and looking for purpose of human existence. Attention is drawn to the status of the Holy Family, especially to the figures of Mary and Jesus, and their role in the work of salvation was analyzed. It is noticed that the Mother of God and her Son – apart from the strictly human relationship – are connected by a bond that goes beyond the canon of the traditional family, and thus beyond the accepted patterns of behavior and relationships with other people. The author also analyzed the form of poetic expression, i.e., a combination of the following forms: cloister and emblematic, resulting in a very original and intricate construction. The poems have a meditative character, and the composition of the cycle is based on the mysteries of the Rosary that tell the History of Salvation. The poet created a literary garden in which specific flowers bloom: lilies symbolizing the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Virgin Mary and Christ, the Lover and the Beloved; roses referring to the attributes of Mary, the Passion of Christ and royal power; and amaranths, which are a symbol of immortality. The Holy Family is an inspiration and a role model for secular families, and its eternal status is constituted by the presence of angels.","PeriodicalId":445064,"journal":{"name":"Bibliotekarz Podlaski Ogólnopolskie Naukowe Pismo Bibliotekoznawcze i Bibliologiczne","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126733939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
