A pesar de su importancia clinica, esta cuestion no es abordada en profundidad en poblacion infantil. Entre los factores relacionados con la falta de estudios, se encuentra la escasez de instrumentos para evaluar estas variables en ninos. Por este motivo, este trabajo se propuso traducir la Escala de Estilos de Respuesta para Ninos de Ziegert y Kistner (CRSS, 2002), adaptarla en poblacion infantil con desarrollo tipico de Argentina (Escala de Estilos de Respuesta en Ninos-Argentina, EERN-A) y analizar sus propiedades psicometricas. Para ello, se evaluo a 434 ninos argentinos de 8 a 12 anos de edad y se analizo la estructura factorial de la escala y su confiabilidad. Tambien se evaluo la validez concurrente del instrumento mediante su asociacion con otras medidas de rumiacion y distraccion, y su validez convergente con medidas teoricamente relacionadas (ansiedad y depresion). Los resultados apoyan la multidimensionalidad e independencia de la rumiacion y la distraccion. Asimismo, las subescalas muestran relaciones con variables relacionadas, asi como una adecuada estructura interna y fiabilidad. De este modo, este estudio supone un aporte para la evaluacion de los estilos de respuestas en poblacion infantil, debido a que permite contar con un instrumento valido para la evaluacion de la rumiacion y la distraccion en ninos EnglishAdaptation and evidence of validity of the Response Styles Scale in Argentinian children. Rumination is considered a stable marker of the onset of depression, the recurrence of depressive episodes and the maintenance of negative affect. Despite its clinical importance, this issue is not properly addressed in children. Among the factors related to the lack of studies, is the lack of instruments to evaluate these variables in children. For this reason, this work had the aim to translate the Children’s Response Styles Scale of Ziegert and Kistner (CRSS, 2002), adapt it in children with typical development of Argentina (Escala de Estilos de Respuesta en Ninos-Argentina –EERN-A–) and analyze its psychometric properties. To this end, 434 Argentinian children aged 8 to 12 were evaluated. The factorial structure of the scale and its reliability were analyzed. The concurrent validity of the instrument was also evaluated through its association with other measures of rumination and distraction. Its convergent validity was evaluated through relationships with theoretically related variables (anxiety and depression). The results support the multidimensionality and independence of rumination and distraction. Likewise, the subscales show relationships with related variables as well as an adequate internal structure and reliability. Se partio de la hipotesis de que peores niveles de funcionamiento familiar aumentarian el riesgo de suicidio. Los resultados mostraron que la ideacion suicida era mayor cuando las puntuaciones en la escala Relaciones (calidad de la comunicacion e interaccion) en la familia eran menores. Al analizar cada escala, se demostro la importancia especifica de la subescala Expresividad, referida al grado de expresion libre de los sentimientos en la familia de forma que, a menor expresividad en la familia, mayor ideacion suicida presentaban los adolescentes, y la subescala Social-Recreativa, referida a la participacion social y en actividades de ocio de la familia, de modo que a mayor participacion social, menor riesgo suicida. The results suggest that we are facing a worrying problem that needs to be better investigated","PeriodicalId":43399,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Psicologia Clinica con Ninos y Adolescentes","volume":"7 1","pages":"9-15"},"PeriodicalIF":2.8,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68341009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Resultados del programa Super Skills. Super Skills for Life (SSL) es un programa transdiagnostico de origen anglosajon basado en la terapia cognitiva conductual, dirigido a tratar problemas emocionales infantiles. Se ha traducido e implementado en poblacion espanola, logrando reducciones significativas en sintomas de ansiedad y depresion. El objetivo del presente estudio fue examinar la eficacia a corto y largo plazo de SSL en escolares con ansiedad por separacion. Participaron 86 ninos hispanohablantes de 8 a 12 anos, que fueron evaluados antes de recibir la intervencion, inmediatamente despues y 12 meses despues. Los resultados indicaron mejoras estadisticamente significativas tanto en el problema principal, la ansiedad por separacion, como en otros sintomas o problemas comorbidos (depresion, problemas de comportamiento, problemas con los companeros, interferencia de ansiedad en la vida diaria, etc.). En general, los resultados muestran que el programa fue mas efectivo a largo plazo que a corto plazo. Los hallazgos del estudio sugieren que SSL puede ser util para tratar problemas emocionales en ninos con ansiedad por separacion. Se discuten las implicaciones practicas de estos hallazgos. EnglishSuper Skills for Life (SSL) is a transdiagnostic program of Anglo-Saxon origin based on cognitive behavioural therapy, aimed at treating emotional problems in children. It has been translated and implemented in the Spanish population, achieving significant reductions in anxious and depressive symptoms. The objective of the current study was to examine the short- and long-term efficacy of SSL in schoolchildren with separation anxiety. The program was attended by 86 Spanish-speaking children aged 8-12 years, who were evaluated before receiving the intervention, immediately after and 12 months later. Results indicated statistically significant improvements both in the main problem, separation anxiety and other comorbid symptoms or problems (depression, behaviour problems, problems with peers, interference of anxiety in daily life, etc.). Overall, the results show that the program was more effective in the long-term than in the short-term. The findings of the study suggest that SSL can be useful for treating emotional problems in children with separation anxiety. Clinical implications of these findings are discussed.","PeriodicalId":43399,"journal":{"name":"Revista de Psicologia Clinica con Ninos y Adolescentes","volume":"7 1","pages":"9-15"},"PeriodicalIF":2.8,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68341261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
