In young children the number of alveoli within the respiratory tract is also lesser and shorter and organisms \u0000may move quickly down the respiratory tract triggering more extensive involvement. Postural drainage and \u0000percussion are usually taught to family members so that the therapy may be continued at home when needed in \u0000cases of chronic disease. Since this highly labour-intensive activity requires the daily intervention of a trained \u0000caregiver, it may lead to poor compliance with the recommended treatment plan. The air-pulse generator rapidly \u0000inflates and deflates the vest, compressing and releasing the chest wall up to 20 times per second. The vibratory \u0000forces of these devices are thought to lower mucus viscosity. High-frequency airway clearance (HFCWC) assist devices \u0000generate either positive or negative trans-respiratory pressure excursions. The typical treatment lasts 20-30 minutes, \u0000and consists of short periods of compression at different frequencies, separated by coughing. The aim was to \u0000enhance the knowledge regarding GFATM. The objective were to assess the knowledge among the GNM students \u0000regarding GFATM, the second objective is to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on \u0000knowledge regarding GFATM among the GNM students and the third objective is to determine the association \u0000between posttest knowledge score with their selected socio demographic variables. The sample consists of 50 \u0000students. The pretest assessment of knowledge of the students was carried out using structured knowledge \u0000questionnaires followed by STP session regarding GFATM. After 7 days the post test was conducted using the same \u0000structured knowledge questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential \u0000statistics. Reveals that in pretest 36 students had knowledge regarding GFATM where as in posttest majority \u0000students’ knowledge enhance with score 48(96%). There is significant difference between posttest knowledge score \u0000among students with selected demographic variables that are age, residential area. Hypertension (HTN) exerts a substantial public health burden \u0000on cardiovascular health status and healthcare systems in India. \u0000Sympathetic responses to acute stress are well documented, but the process by which stress contributes to \u0000sustained BP elevation over time is not well understood. It may be repeated activation of this system, failure to \u0000return to resting levels following stressful events, failure to habituate to repeated stressors of the same type, or \u0000some combination that is responsible for the development of hypertension. A variety of free meditation or \u0000mindfulness apps are available to download onto cell phone or tablet. There are also plenty of guided meditations \u0000available online. It is the only fastest way to deliver any medications to the body. \u0000For fruitful insertion of cannulation the trainers should have proper knowledge and practical skills to succeed \u0000this procedure with minimum complication and positive client outcome with treatment. The objective was to \u0000determine the level of knowledge and practice on IV cannulation and its association with selected demographic \u0000and clinical variables. Materials and methods: By using convenience sampling technique 54 participants were \u0000recruited based on inclusion criteria. The study was conducted in St. John’s Hospital, Idukki. After gaining \u0000informed consent, data was collected by using self-structured questionnaire consisting demographic and \u0000clinical characteristics, questions regarding knowledge on IV cannulation and observational checklist for \u0000identifying practical skills in IV procedure. Results: Data was statistically analysed using SPSS version 20. \u0000Samples of 33(68.8%) had average and 10 (20.8%) had poor knowledge on IVC. Regarding practical \u0000performance, 27(56.3%) had average, 16 (33.3%) had good skills in IVC. Whereas 5(10.4%) had very poor \u0000practical skills on IVC. It is a process that involves organic and psychic changes with \u0000relevance to the cognitive system and how it interprets different stimuli In dealing with stressful situations, coping \u0000strategies are employed in order for adverse events to be experienced more appropriately Methods: The study used \u0000a quasi- experimental with one group pretest and posttest control group design. A total of 30 staff nurses were \u0000included as interventional group (n=15) and control group (n=15) through purposive sampling technique. Stress \u0000management intervention was given for 1 week and review for another 3 weeks. On the first week of data \u0000collection, following the pre- assessment, a detailed lecture was given on stress and coping strategies for seven \u0000consecutive days to the interventional group. Followed by this, first post test assessment was done on the seventh \u0000day to both the groups and reviewed for another 3 consecutive weeks and second posttest assessment was also \u0000done flowingly to both the group Data collection tools are(1) demographicvariables,(2) Expanded nurses stress \u0000scale (3) Ways of Coping scale (4) Stress management intervention programme Result: The overall mean difference \u0000between experimental group posttest-3 (79.33±18.73) and control group posttest -2 (163.53±10.15) group with \u0000mean difference was 84.2. The obtained ‘t’ value was 15.35 with p=0.001 which was statistically highly significant \u0000difference between groups. Although some aspects of breast-feeding come naturally \u0000to mother, learning proper skills is crucial for successful lactation. Aim: To determine the effectiveness of \u0000computer assisted teaching on knowledge and practice of breast feeding among mothers. Settings and \u0000Design: Hospital-based; Quasi experimental – time series design. Non probability convenience sampling \u0000technique was used to collect 103 experimental and 101 control group samples. Using a researcher \u0000administered questionnaire and observational checklist, data was tabulated, analysed by descriptive \u0000and inferential statistics. Results: In post-test among Experimental group, 25 (24.17%) of the mothers had \u0000inadequate level of knowledge score, 46 (44.66%) had moderate level of knowledge score and 32 (31.07%) had \u0000adequate level of knowledge score. In control group, 55 (54.46%) had inadequate level of knowledge score, 46 \u0000(45.54%) had moderate level of knowledge score and none of them were having adequate level of knowledge \u0000score. In post-test-1, among experimental group, 22 (21.36%) were having inadequate level of practice score, 45 \u0000(43.69%) were having moderate level of practice score and 36 (34.95%) were having adequate level of practice \u0000score.
