To gain a larger share of this competitive sector, it is necessary to create more profitable new tourism markets and develop appropriate marketing strategies. This study examines the term niche marketing and niche market definition. The relationship between the marketing niche and other marketing methods is noted and its advantages and disadvantages are outlined. In addition, the application of the niche market in the tourism industry is indicated and the reasons for increasing the practice of marketing niches as a marketing strategy are identified. This study aims to present a concise status of niche marketing and thus create a basis for marketers and researchers. In the modern world community, the tourism industry occupies a very important economic niche. Over the past twenty years, many Western countries have replenished their wealth through the development of this industry. In Ukraine, tourism is not perceived as an independent and equal segment of the economy. The tourism industry is experiencing a period of formation both in the theoretical sense (as a scientific field) and in practice. One of the most important stages of tourism development is the marketing component: research, strategy and planning, but in the field of tourism these stages are given little attention. This fact is a very significant problem, as the growth in demand for tourism services is extensive, and companies selling tourism services have not been adapted to this. Enterprises in the field of tourism are engaged in the development of a new product, programs of various tours, pricing, improving the quality of the tourist product, as well as developments in the sale of such a product and the implementation of local and national marketing concepts. The main and specific role in the support and development of tourism at the international and national levels is played by the state. The experience of different countries shows that the success of tourism development directly depends on how the industry is perceived at the state level, how much it enjoys state support. In a number of countries, state programs have been developed to stimulate inbound tourism, which provide tax benefits, simplification of the customs regime, creating favorable conditions for investment in tourism, increasing budget allocations for infrastructure development, advertising in foreign markets, training of qualified personnel.","PeriodicalId":402980,"journal":{"name":"Socio-Economic Problems and the State","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125077417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study focuses on working with social media data. The authors emphasized the lack of attention to this issue among both foreign and Ukrainian scientists. The article outlines the algorithm for collecting and transmitting primary data obtained as a result of monitoring the activity of educational institutions in social networks to form models of various types of their actions. The model presented by the authors includes four stages. Stages one and two provide the list of factors / metrics that can be included in the model. These factors require an appropriate and high-quality data collection process. At the next stage, the authors propose data clustering as the most important process for the future use of social network data. It is emphasized that the formation of clusters will depend on the tasks facing the management teams of the educational market. The authors give several examples of such clustering but point out that the list is not exhaustive and can be significantly expanded. An important aspect of the availability of such databases is access to information not only for teachers, but also for all interested university staff. At the same time, each user (students, teachers, staff, administration) will receive data relevant to their requests and needs. The developed methodology will help increase the efficiency of management decision-making and implementation and provide an opportunity to justify the parameters of successful innovation in educational institutions in many respects, including the development of educational programs, implementation of new certification programs and disciplines, other services, etc.","PeriodicalId":402980,"journal":{"name":"Socio-Economic Problems and the State","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131622037","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main focus of the article is on the analysis of the volume of passenger and freight traffic by type of cargo and mode of transport. The article reveals the issues of the transport system of Ukraine and transport, which ensure the effective functioning of the system of economic relations in the country. The growth of both freight and passenger traffic indicates the growth of the country's economy, and the decline in their volume is an indicator of the crisis in the economy. We have identified the main modes of transport that carry passenger traffic in Ukraine, analyzed the passenger turnover in the period from 2018 to 2020, ie we take into account the period before the COVID-19 pandemic and the pandemic period in 2019-2020. The analysis of cargo turnover in Ukraine by types of transport and by types of cargo in the specified period is also carried out. Through the analysis of statistical data in the article, we came to the conclusion about the importance of certain modes of transport for the national economy from the standpoint of freight and passenger traffic. It is concluded that firstly, the pandemic had a significant impact on the transport industry of Ukraine, secondly, the volume of passenger traffic by all modes of transport faced significant losses during the pandemic, and thirdly, the volume of freight traffic pandemic COVID-19 is almost non-existent. At the same time, it is worth paying attention to a number of internal problems, organizational, strategic and economic-technological nature of the transport sector of Ukraine, in particular long-term reform; problems related to strategic management, technical and technological backwardness of infrastructure and rolling stock development and low level of digital transformations in transport.","PeriodicalId":402980,"journal":{"name":"Socio-Economic Problems and the State","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128071443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In view of these threats, the 1987 UN report set out the basic wording of sustainable development – as development in which the needs of present generations are met without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This article is devoted to the study of the essence of \"sustainable development\", its features, threats that necessitated the introduction of such a concept, as well as ways to implement it. The importance of ensuring the possibility of achieving the seventeen goals of sustainable development is also substantiated. Separately in the article the peculiarities of Ukraine's policy in ensuring sustainable development are considered, the place of our state in the world in this direction is determined. The level of achievement of seventeen goals is analyzed. It was emphasized that Ukraine is an active participant in the movement for sustainable development.The article states that in order to achieve sustainable development, it is necessary for the governments of the world to realize the need to save the planet and preserve it for future generations, by avoiding depletion, in order to make a profit. World political and non-political organizations, state institutions, business giants must realize that only by adhering to the principle of preservation, not seizure; development, not growth, can achieve sustainable development. It is established that the main way to save and build a society of sustainable development is the awareness of responsibility for the future, not the thirst for earnings today. The main conclusion is that the achievement of these goals is possible only if the business, government institutions realize that the basis of future operation, or even the existence of the world – is not profits, but development, which is to create an environment for harmful technological processes with new high-tech and environmental technologies as global aggression policies are transformed into care policies.","PeriodicalId":402980,"journal":{"name":"Socio-Economic Problems and the State","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132703204","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In our time, when people are trying their best to keep up with everything, it is important to use those tools that facilitate the performance of some tasks. Among such tools are the Internet and social networks. The two most popular social networks – Instagram and YouTube are described. Using IT, it is possible to significantly facilitate the work of tourism enterprises. Online booking systems and travel sites help you arrange a tour without leaving home. It is noted that the main task of enterprises in the tourism industry is the ability to make the client to wish to buy a tour. And in this case, Internet marketing, as well as social networks, are created to be one of the effective tools for promoting the tourist product. It is stated that nowadays there are many different advertising media. Among them there are: mass media, television and radio, outdoor advertising, advertising in transport, etc. It has been identified that advertising in the field of tourist services should cover the peculiarities of the region and country of potential customers, their customs and culture. However, traditional advertising media are losing their popularity every day, because society does not stand still. For a modern traveler, the following components are important: speed and quality, price and the possibility of self-realization. In such cases, leading travel firms should use more effective marketing tools. Іt can be argued that the process of promoting a tourist product in social networks is an effective, but rather complex process that requires special knowledge and skills. It is important to note that social networks have already become a full-fledged platform for conducting business, including tourism. These networks successfully combine functions that are necessary for building effective marketing: accurate target audience; availability and availability of information about potential consumers of services; possibility of communication with clients; simple form of proposal creation. It is determined that speed and ease of access to information are the main advantages of social networks. More and more tourism businesses are using the Internet to increase their profits.","PeriodicalId":402980,"journal":{"name":"Socio-Economic Problems and the State","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121739094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Castles and other cultural heritage sites are considered as places of national memory, as evidence of historical events and stages of state formation of our country, as architectural and cultural sites that can reproduce and analyze artistic and stylistic trends in different eras of state and cultural formation of our people as well. Trends of castle buildings use in different periods of formation of our state, including during the war, are studied. The existence of castles and palaces during the war was found to be subject to various risks. First, buildings as an architectural heritage can be destroyed by bombing or other hostilities. Secondly, the use of castle and palace buildings for other purposes, to hold various non-cultural events in their premises, has a very detrimental effect on the future of their existence. Third, museum exhibits and other objects of movable cultural heritage are under the threat of looting, theft and deportation to the territory of the occupier. The article also considers other problems faced by castles and other cultural heritage sites of Ukraine. These are, first of all, insufficient attention to the preservation of ancient architectural monuments from destruction, lack of sufficient funding for conservation and restoration work, insufficient number of restorers of the appropriate qualification level. The article examines the amount of damage caused by the russian occupiers to the cultural heritage sites of Ukraine since the full-scale invasion of our lands by russian troops. The article reviews the main documents governing the protection of cultural property in the event of an armed conflict in Ukraine. The main actions under Article 3 of the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict (May 14, 1954) are considered to be taken to protect cultural property from the effects of armed conflict on military attack on our lands.
