{"title":"Modern methods of evaluation and marketing enhancement of increasing the level of competitiveness","authors":"Bohdana Oksentyuk","doi":"10.33108/sepd2022.02.482","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33108/sepd2022.02.482","url":null,"abstract":"The interest of enterprises in the results of their activities reinforces the need to increase their competitiveness, which is a decisive factor in commercial success in the \"harsh conditions of reality.\" The process of assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise is a complex multifactorial task, which is reduced to the interpretation and evaluation of a set of indicators and methods that characterize the various aspects of the market entity and, ultimately, shape its competitiveness. The scientific article analyzes a variety of methods for assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise both in general and in terms of marketing. It is shown that today, for the successful functioning of the firm in the market, the assessment of its competitiveness using various methods is an objective necessity. It is proved that in the modern economic literature there are a large number of ambiguous methodological approaches to the study of the competitiveness of the market entity, which in turn determines the multiplicity of methods used to assess it. The article analyzes the existing methods of assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise and shows that they characterize only certain aspects of its activities and have a number of shortcomings. Theoretically, the development of a comprehensive methodology for assessing the level of competitiveness of the organization, which can be applied to all objects without exception is a very time-consuming and almost impossible task. Summarizing the results of the study, it is concluded that all the methods used to determine and assess the level of competitiveness of the enterprise can be combined into the following nine groups: methods based on the analysis of comparative advantages; methods based on the theory of equilibrium of the firm and industry; matrix methods of competitiveness assessment; method based on multiplier theory; methods based on comparison with the standard, etc. The considered approaches radically differ in the essence and base of formation of indicators and characterize various spheres and aspects of activity of firm. In order for a company to be able to compete, it must implement its international strategy on the local spectrum. This article is used to demonstrate how the globally successful company IKEA features of management in the world and its entering the Ukrainian market. First of all, we identified the important elements that caused the development of international trade and main obstacles, which affected global competition of every company in international business where Ikea is not an exception. As there is not clear position of Ikea mission, we tried to define the mission of IKEA has included the following components: different products, available prices, exceeding expectations. Then created an analysis of the design, formation and further successful steps of that company. Focus on the SWOT analysis of the Ikea itself, and also on its analysis in relation to the issue - the Ukrainian market gives us great understanding of strengths(affordability, design, brand reputation, wide range of products), weaknesses(the media, quality, location), opportunities(emerging markets, online store, sustainability) and threats(competition, imitation, quality preference) for better functioning Ikea business strategies in the world and in Ukraine. The competitive advantage is the technology creating stylish products through decades which differents from others and can be recognizable. Since financial resources, from the point of view of the enterprise economy, cannot be considered as a stable source of its competitive advantages, the attention is focused on the intellectual component of the enterprise’s competitiveness. The purpose of the study is to determine the essence of intellectual capital and its importance for ensuring the competitiveness of the Ukraine’s machine-building industry enterprises at the present stage of the country’s innovative economy development in terms of transferring to the knowledge economy. Intellectual capital should include special abilities of the personnel, based on knowledge, skills and experience, as well as provide particularly valuable information for the enterprise, which is the basis of significant competitive advantages in domestic and foreign markets in an innovative economy. The thesis that information, knowledge, experience, intangible assets acquire new significance, which in their interaction and development originate a new category of “intellectual capital”, is substantiated. The authors’ definition of the “intellectual capital” category is formulated taking into account the study of this concept from the standpoint of the definitions of capital interpretation. It is emphasized that although the apopheme \"innovative development\" has become a stamp of public speaking in recent years, in reality it is only a flair that unsuccessfully covers disparate activities that a priori can not ensure success in this direction. It is emphasized that only a methodological substantiation of the possibilities of innovative economic development can ensure the development of its strategy, as the current disparate measures have not provided comprehensive success not only in Ukraine but also in post-socialist countries in general. On the basis of statistical indicators, there are doubts about the hopes for innovative economic development due to increased production of certain types of export-oriented agricultural products, as this is accompanied by population decline, mainly rural, and even the disappearance of rural settlements. After all, due to the concentration of exports mainly on a limited number of commodities - agricultural products and base metals - ie with low added value, foreign exchange earnings from which do not compare with the cost of imported innovative means of production, opportunities for innovative development are limited, as other companies mostly buy second-hand cars, such as cars, tractors, combines, metalworking machines, etc., as new ones are not available to most of them due to the price factor. The input of the theoretical analysis of research in the field of psychological rehabilitation of ATO / OOS veterans in the context of state support states that a single program has not been developed. The purpose of the work is to determine certain areas of activity of state structures and international public organizations to provide psychological assistance to veterans of the ATO / OOS. To date, Ukraine has adopted a number of laws that determine the social and legal protection of servicemen and members of their families, as well as regulate the procedure for psychological rehabilitation. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has developed programs based on foreign experience, as well as international charitable foundations to improve methods of psychological rehabilitation. Thus, in 2019, within the framework of the UNFPA Ukraine program, a pilot project of mobile brigades of social and psychological assistance to participants in the anti-terrorist operation / environmental protection and members of their families was launched, which showed a positive result. The main purpose of the mobile brigade was to identify and provide emergency and planned social and psychological assistance to participants in the ATO / OOS and their families. Among the main tasks of the mobile team were: ensuring the availability of social and psychological assistance to veterans who cannot overcome the crisis on their own or seek help; crisis and emergency intervention and support to veterans and their families in order to resolve the crisis; providing peer-to-peer services according to individual needs in order to improve the conditions of integration, socialization and overcoming difficult life circumstances. The results of the study show that state programs are developed taking into account both physical and psychological rehabilitation of ATO / OOS veterans, but there are problems in the field of individual work. The global community identified the principles of social responsibility in the UN Global Compact and International Standards SA 8000 and ISO 26000. The Ten Principles of Social Responsibility of the Global Compact, which establish the principles of human rights, labor principles, environmental principles and anti-corruption principles, were considered; requirements for social protection: child labor; forced labor; labor protection; freedom of association and the right to conclude a collective agreement; discrimination; disciplinary measures; working hours; salary; management systems of the International Standard SA 8000 “Social Responsibility”; a unified understanding of social responsibility and detailed instructions for all organizations of the International Standard ISO 26000:2010 “Guidelines for Social Responsibility”. It examines the key ways in which a company embraces social responsibility, which includes four types of social responsibility: philanthropy, promoting volunteerism, ethical labor practices, and environmental change. It was noted that by the beginning of 2022, more than 15,000 companies had published reports on social responsibility according to GRI standards. In Ukraine, non-financial social responsibility reporting has been used by Nibulon, Lifecell, Auchan Retail Ukraine, Metinvest, Obolon, SE “Antonov” and others for a relatively long time. As a result of the coronavirus epidemic, which took over the entire country, and especially the aggression of Russia, a difficult period of economic stagnation of Ukraine was caused. At the same time, the course towards European integration remains unchanged. The analysis of software products is carried out. The most widespread applied automated programs for the analysis of a financial and economic condition and management of the enterprise which are applied in the conditions of the modern market are resulted. The main functions of computer programs used for analytical research in various enterprises and their general characteristics are described. Due to high-speed digitalization there is a general change in the conduct of business accounting, accounting, reporting, financial analysis, which are an integral part of the operation of enterprises. The introduction of automation of financial analysis of the enterprise is justified. It is determined that computer technology has greatly simplified the collection, generalization, transmission, maintenance of information, as well as increased the accuracy and efficiency of its analysis. It is characterized that modern IT-technologies make it possible to analyse process at the enterprises more accurately, faster, qualitatively that increasees efficiency of the enterprise’s financial analysis which occurs due to the analysis terms reduction, use of considerable quantity of information on financial and economic activity, calculation mistakes decrease, various uses of modeling and optimization methods. It is established that the current information and communication technologies establish the need for constant improvement of analysis and accounting in enterprises, which will make the process of conducting them competitive, more efficient and high quality, as well as simpler and cheaper. Based on the comparative assessment of software products available on the market, it is determined which of them are the most optimal for large, medium and small enterprises. Such a transformation in the modern world is defined as digitalization, which is designed to simplify doing business by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of information, which is combined into structured and logical sequences and schemes. It was found that the system of digitalization in the enterprise should be based on fast, rhythmic and timely data collection, analysis, in order to make further plans and forecasts for decision-making on the economic activity of the enterprise. This system should permeate all aspects of the enterprise, and, as a consequence, aims to integrate them into the enterprise. The article describes the main stages of digitalization of business processes in making management decisions. The role of the system of digitalized production processes, which combines separate production and management units of the enterprise into one whole, into one effective management system, which does not make decisions independently, but only provides information for human decision-making, and therefore it will constantly need control, improvement, maintenance and investment of certain resources in the development of both technical base and professional development. The development of the accounting system requires the comprehensive use, dissemination and coverage of IT technologies not only enterprises but also their counterparties, using the latest tools for informatization and transformation of existing ones. In the process of organizing the accounting system will have to reformulate the accounting policy of the enterprise, to review a significant array of operations, to question the use in practice of some of them. The basic principles and necessity of state support and legislative regulation of innovation and investment activity are substantiated. The main types of strategies are analyzed and promising directions of regulation of innovative and investment activities of industrial enterprises are outlined. Theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of innovative and investment development of industrial enterprises and mechanisms of its implementation are considered. Modern technologies and tools of forecasting and modeling in the management of social and economic processes are studied. An analysis of the state of innovation, investment and scientific and technical potential of industrial enterprises of Ukraine was carried out, and proposals for increasing innovation and investment activity were developed. It is indicated that the main direction of processes in the field of innovations and investments for industrial enterprises should be the implementation of the results of scientific and technical achievements in production and increase the competitiveness of goods and services. The current realities and prospects of the introduction of innovative investment technologies in industry are analyzed. The specific features of innovation and investment processes at the enterprise, regional and national level are highlighted. The experience of leading countries in the implementation of the policy of innovation and investment development of industrial enterprises and the processes of adaptation of the regulatory and legal system of management and administration to European standards are disclosed. Means of legal, analytical and information support for the strategic development of industrial enterprises at the micro, meso and macro levels are presented, approaches to optimizing their innovative and investment activities are proposed. Innovative investment activity is considered as a set of norms of economic legislation and a sub-branch of economic law. Mechanisms of state regulation of innovative and innovative activities, industrial enterprises are disclosed, conditions of formation and implementation of state policy in this area are highlighted.
