As, we know that Family firms are considered the most common type of firms globally, as well as in Pakistan. Therefore, based on the AMO and Resource-Based View perspective, the researcher studied the HR Practices of Pakistani Family Firms in the textile and leather sector located at Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Sialkot. The survey method was used to collect data by using a questionnaire containing 56 items. A simple random sampling technique was used for data collection. The researcher received 255 responses out of that, 230 samples have used for statistical analysis. The remaining 25 samples were not considered because of the irrelevancy of the data. Results stated that HR Practices have a significant relationship with the dependent variable, which was a competitive advantage. It shows that affective organizational commitment partially mediates the relationship between HR Practices & competitive advantage. Service quality in banking sector is vital issues for developing country like Bangladesh. The present study explores the relationship between customer satisfaction and service quality of the commercial banks in Cumilla district. The total number of sample was 400. The data was collected by face to face interview using structured questionnaire method. In questionnaire, the close ended and open ended questions were used to collect data. The principle point of the investigation is to evaluate the service quality of commercial banks in Cumilla and its effect on customer satisfaction. The SERVQUAL model considers five major components like responsiveness, reliability, assurance, empathy and tangibility. Five hypotheses have been used by considering five major factor of SERVQUAL model. The coefficients of SERVQUAL factors estimated by SEM approach, the factors like responsiveness, reliability, assurance, empathy and tangibility takes the coefficients value 0.67, 0.62, 0.60, 0.84 and 0.58 respectively. The results indicate that other independent variable remains constants, 1-unit change in responsiveness will build consumer loyalty 0.67 units; similarly, 1-unit change in reliability will build consumer loyalty by 0.62 units; 1-unit change in assurance will increase consumer loyalty by 0.60 units. Where, the results of empathy and tangibility also show positive coefficients are 0.84 and 0.58 respectively to explain the customer satisfaction. The study concluded that the considered five factors plays effective role to increase the service quality. It is accomplished by conducting a focused quantitative research & subsequent statistical analysis on the perceptions of O&G professionals towards various challenges of knowledge sharing at organizational level. Research Design/Methodology/Approach: The research employed a questionnaire based quantitative study comprising of 27 closed ended questions for collecting insights of O&G professionals towards challenges of Knowledge sharing. Based upon 286 responses collected from all four subsectors of Pakistan’s O&G industry, correlation and regression analysis were applied to assess the various challenges towards the process of knowledge sharing. Findings: Good level of interpersonal trust among employees, Adequate communication, Knowledge as a power, Low organizational hierarchy, Efficacious rewards & recognition mechanisms and Existence of IT tools have a positive impact on the process of knowledge sharing. Research Limitations/Implications: Research was focused on the O&G sector of Pakistan, and thus it can’t be generalized to any other sector or country. Originality/Value: This study fulfills the insufficiency of research regarding challenges of KS within all sub sectors of Pakistan’s O&G sector. Because of this the paper aim to examine the challenges of Northern Nigerians women’s liberation and involvement in trade union movements. Surely, women are encountering numerous challenges in the NTU of the Northern region and are not well empowered in trade union movements of the Northern region. These challenges have repeatedly postured a danger or set back to women participation, empowerment, and representation in the trade unionism of the region. This study is qualitative in nature. Data were obtained through primary and secondary sources of data collection, by the used of semi-structured questionnaires and systematic review of related literature. This aided the researcher in acquiring suitable and right data on the topic under study. In explaining the topic under study Social Constructivism and Liberal Feminist theories was used, the supposition of these theories positioned on gender disparity as man-made not naturally formed. The study found that cultural stereotype, religion factors, unequal access to the education time factor, poverty, among others have harmfully paid to women empowerment and participation in trade union movements of the Northern region. Thus, the research recommends that the government should provide women with free education and different kinds of skills acquisition programmes to empower them to participate in the trade union movements in the Northern region. Anochiwa, Roseline Sama","doi":"10.31580/jpvai.v4i2.1511","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31580/jpvai.v4i2.1511","url":null,"abstract":"Several projections were made during and after the Global financial crises of 2007-2009 about the continuity of foreign aid to Africa.Some opined that the financial crises will reach Sub Saharan Africa via the decline of foreign aid as well as other financial transfers such as remittances and Foreign Direct Investment. It is on this premise that this study examined the flow of foreign aid to Africa in an effort to appreciate the trend before, during and after the Global financial crisis. The study used trend charts and the Bai-Perron multiple structural break test as well as the Chow test to analyse data sourced from the World Bank Indicators. The results show that, though Overall ODA dropped in 2007, it consistently increased up to 2013 by 25%. The structural break test shows that the trend of ODA has not significantly changed as a result of the Global financial crisis for; low, lower middle, higher middle and Sub Saharan countries as a whole. The result further shows that ODA to low income countries were higher than those of lower middle income countries which was equally higher than higher middle income countries. ODA to the agricultural, educational and economic infrastructural sector all increased after 2009. It is only ODA to the health sector that dropped significantly. The study concludes that Foreign aid to Africa has not declined, but rather improved in most cases. Ahmed","doi":"10.31580/JPVAI.V4I1.1575","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31580/JPVAI.V4I1.1575","url":null,"abstract":"The design for this study was quasi experimental, specifically the non-randomized control group pretest posttest design involving two groups – the control group and experimental group was used in this study. 6125 (JSS III) students who are offering Basic Technology in Minna Educational zone formed the population of this study. 241 Junior Secondary three (JSS III) students of two co-educational schools offering Basic Technology were sampled. The two-co-educational secondary schools were randomly drawn using balloting from four co-educational schools offering Basic Technology in Minna educational zone. Two intact classes were used for the study. In each of the sampled schools, all the JSS III students in the intact class randomly selected belonged to one group either the experimental (RTS) or control (TAT) group and thus received the same treatment. Basic Technology Achievement Test (BTAT) and the Basic Technology Interest Inventory (BTII), were developed and validated. An internal reliability consistency of BTAT was found to be 0.75 using Kuder Richardson formula 20(K – R20) and that of BTII was 0.85 using Cronbach Alpha. The BTAT and BTII were administered as pretest to the two groups. Mean and Standard Deviation was used to analyzed research questions; while analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used in testing the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. However, impact of internal branding vary according to different sectors, this study instigate the impact of internal branding in healthcare sector. Since aftermath are employees, this study investigate employees of private hospitals that are nurses both male and female of all three nursing cadre. This study target total 230 nurses from different private hospitals in Sialkot by employing convenience sample of non-probability. This study uses primary data comprises of quantitative nature and cross sectional, which is collect by the use of self-administered survey questionnaire. Inferential statistics is use on IBM SPSS Statistics 25th version and the data is analyze using Reliability, Durbin Watson, Normality, Regression and Correlation analysis. Findings reveal that internal branding brings positive variation in employee performance although the results did not provide significant affect still the relation between both variables is positive and significant. Numerous studies have shown that psychological contract is a significant predictor of various organizational outcomes. Despite the growing interest in exploring the psychological contract aspects among scholars, review articles and thorough analysis have been limited. The present study fills in this gap by identifying and evaluating the research development of psychological contract topic. Using 1333 journal articles from the Elsevier Scopus database published between 1973-2019, a bibliometric analysis was employed to assess the patterns of global psychological contract research based on the number of publications, co-authorship analysis amongst affiliated countries and authors, and co-occurrence of author keywords. The results revealed that the number of publications increased every year; subsequently, cumulative total publications also steadily increases till the present time. The current research findings show that researchers from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and China contributed about 61% of worldwide publications, leading the other 64 countries/territories. Moreover, four of the world's top 100 universities were among the most productive universities in each of the ten leading countries selected for the analysis.
