The participants were 200 individuals from different universities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, who were active internet users in their daily life. A co-relational method was used in order to obtain the quantitative analysis of the relationship between the three variables. The Internet Addiction Test (Young, 1998), Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (Wong et al., 2007) and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21were used. The results supported the hypothesis that there is a relationship between internet addiction, psychological distress and emotional intelligence among internet users.","PeriodicalId":388480,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Public Value and Administrative Insight","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127372567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a management doctrine, new public management is centered on private sector practices implemented in the public sector. Although it has registered some success stories but most of the intended objectives were not met. The public value concept emerges as a response to the weaknesses of new public management and to better equip public sector managers to create public value for the society. The purpose of this study is to explore and evaluate public administration paradigms beyond new public management and to assess public value implications for public sector managers. This study employed cross-sectoral scope review of the extant literature and adopted a narrative approach. In-depth data was collected from top database searches of American and Australian Administrative journals.","PeriodicalId":388480,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Public Value and Administrative Insight","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114530497","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This was divided into three objectives, evaluating the impact after extension of the parent brand change in customer attitude, assessing the effect of perceived quality on the parent brand after extension, and to determine brand dilution effect on the parent brand after extension. This study is based on 4 variables three are independent variables (customer attitude, perceived quality, brand dilution) and one is dependent variable which is (brand image). Here customer attitude is defined as intellectual awareness of customers about new products and brand extensions, perceived quality is defined as perception of customer about overall quality of a product or service , and brand dilution is when a firm loses its brand association with a new market segment, product area, quality or price. The dependent variable brand image is defined as bundle of associations customers have of a brand. This study includes systematic literature review from different scholars with an empirical analysis of data drawn from users of Unilever products from Hyderabad region. The target population of the study was 220 respondents. Data is collected from respondents through self-administered questionnaires. The study employed Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) estimator that accounts possible endogeneity in the given set of regressors. The results confirmed the positive relationship between GDP per capita and inbound tourism, which further exhibit in the Granger causality approach where it’s verified the growth -led tourism hypothesis in a country. The results further show the feedback relationship between industrial value added and country’s per capita income while there is unidirectional causality running from industry value added to trade openness and FDI inflows to industrial value added in a country. The study conclude with the fact that country’s economic resources helpful to attract international tourists in order to spend their time in pleasure destinations, which is vital sign for Pakistan’s economy to attract more international tourists that helpful to receipt foreign exchange earnings for the country.","PeriodicalId":388480,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Public Value and Administrative Insight","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132352987","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
