By employing purposive sampling technique, a sample of (N= 200) of government employees were recruited from few public departments of Lahore (WAPDA, WASA, Sui Gas and LDA).Rosenburg self-esteem scale (Rosenburg, 1965), Goal Orientation scale (VandeWalle, 1997) and Narcisstic Personality Inventory NPI-16 (Daniel R. Ames, Paul Rose, Camerson D. Anderson, 2006) were used to assess the research variable self-esteem, goal orientation and narcissism in government employees. The results revealed that there is significant positive relationship between self-esteem, goal orientation and narcissism in government employees. The results also relived that Goal orientation and self-esteem is significant positive predictors of Narcissism in government employees. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship of self-esteem, goal orientation and narcissism in government employees.
