Emcontrapartida, existe a figura dos cuidadores de idosos, quepossuem um papel primordial na preservação da saúde dessesidosos e também na diminuição da solidão dos mesmos. Porém,em um futuro não muito distante, talvez se torne escassa adisponibilidade deste profissional no mercado para atender àcrescente demanda decorrente do observável envelhecimento dapopulação mundial. Tendo isso em vista, o foco deste trabalho é oenvelhecimento saudável e a promoção da autonomia do idoso. Osagentes relacionais são chatbots com características humanas(nome, voz, emoções, opiniões, etc.), eles têm o potencial depossibilitar um engajamento maior entre o usuário e a aplicação.Neste sentido, este trabalho, de caráter quanti-quali, exploratório eexperimental, visa explorar formas de se assegurar o engajamentode longo prazo entre idosos e agentes relacionais no intuito demitigar o problema da solidão tão presente na sociedade moderna.Essa investigação busca entender as potencialidades do uso deagentes conversacionais embarcados em alto-falantes inteligentesna interação com 7 (sete) idosos com idade superior a 60 anos noambiente domiciliar durante um mês. Para a construção de talsaber, propõem-se um experimento Mágico de Oz, Instrumento decoleta de dados: embasado nos dados obtidos via ferramenta daspessoas do círculo social do idoso, que está devidamenteregistrado na Plataforma Brasil sob o número CAAE46437621.7.0000.5534, Mágico de Oz, por meio do qual o autorinterage diretamente com as pessoas idosas por meio dodispositivo Echo Dot. Esse experimento assegura que o idosoimaginará que a interação se dará entre ele e o agenteconversacional, quando, na verdade, o autor fará o papel doagente. O autor seguirá um protocolo de pesquisa que lheassegurará a devida análise do corpus de interação produzido, quelhe servirá de base para avaliação das oportunidades e riscos que atecnologia oferece. O protocolo de interação será construído apartir da construção prévia de um banco de dados de informaçõesrelevantes dos sujeitos de pesquisa com base no common groundobtido. As a solution to maximizehearing capacity, the use of hearing aids is commonly indicated.However, the adherence of these devices is low, largely due to thelow sound quality in noisy environments and their high cost. Tominimize these obstacles, several studies and research are carriedout both on the hardware part and on noise reduction techniques.The technique addressed in this work is the Real Time AdaptativeCorrelation Enhancer algorithm, an adaptive filter that uses theautocorrelation coefficients of the noisy audio signal to calculatethe coefficients of Wiener’s FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filter. Aspreliminary results, the simulation of the algorithm in MATLAB®ispresented to discuss the performance of the algorithm. Incorrectpostures can generate fatigue, discomfort and, in the long term,diseases such as varicose veins, herniated discs and even spinaldeformities. This work consists of prototyping a device to monitorthe position in which the person is sitting and to warn when theposture is incorrect. The monitoring developed is carried out in theuse of the chair back and seat of the chair. The solution uses a Wireless Underground SensorNetwork (WUSN), a cloud computing platform and an App to implementa real time monitoring scheme. The sensor network runson Arduino components connected through Wi-Fi modules, andis responsible to collect soil moisture rates. Then, the collecteddata is sent to a cloud computing environment in order to ensurea robust and secure storage. Moreover, the cloud platform runsa model for triggering an alarm when a potential landslide is detected.Finally, an App aimed to data visualization in real time andlandslides warning is also presented. The proposed work enables areal time end to end solution, once it starts with the data collectedby the humidity sensors and finishes with the data visualization bythe citizens, which is very suitable for Smart Cities and Internetof Things (IoT) environments. The system was evaluated throughreal tests and simulated scenarios. Burnt areas classification can help understand fires occurrence and support public policies. This work aims to develop a method of automatic burnt areas classification. The method is based on the application of Automated Machine Learning in data sets, from the Landsat-8/OLI satellite images of 2018 and 2019. We intend to answer the following research question: “Is it possible to automate the choice of machine learning models and maintain quality levels in the classification of burnt areas?”. The contribution of this research is to determine whether a predictive model, trained with validated samples from 2018, is capable of classifying fires occurrences in 2019. For the performance evaluation, the following metrics were analyzed: precision, probability of detection and average success rate.
