In literature,machine learning (ML) models have been proposed to predict bugfixingtime. One of features highlighted by studies is the reporter(the person who open the bug) has positive influence in the timeto resolve a bug. In this way, this paper answers the following researchquestion: How does a collaborative filtering approach performin predicting bug-fixing time compared to the supervised machinelearning approaches? In order to answer this question we performedan experiment using collaborative filtering approach to recommendthe bugs that are fast to be resolved in two open software projects.We compare our proposed approach with the ML approach relatedto the literature. As a result, the collaborative filtering approachoutperforms the supervised ML achieving an F-measure of 74%while the supervised ML achieved 66%. In this way, it is possible to support the work of the blast furnace operators, in order to optimize the consumption of resources to keep the blast furnace operating. With the results obtained from the experiments using the blast furnace operating data as a time series, it is concluded that the use of LSTM is satisfactory and that improvement of these experiments will meet the needs of the steel industry. Previous research has led tothe creation of libraries for parallel processing on GPU to performspeculative encryption of data. The efficiency of this method wasdemonstrated in its use in cryptographic file systems. However, theapplicability and effectiveness of these methods using only CPUs remained an open problem. In order to test the feasibility of specu-lative cryptography in computing environments with CPUs only, this work presents a library version for speculative encryption withparallel processing on multicore processors and its adaptation to the EncFS++ file system in user space. Essa otimização tem umacomplexidade computacional alta, sendo classificado como um problema NP-Difícil.Neste trabalho foi aplicado a este problema de otimização um Algoritmo GenéticoMultiobjetivo NSGA-II, combinado com um modelo multicritério, o Rank OrderCentroid (ROC), com o objetivo de maximizar a quantidade produzida, minimizar ocusto médio e minimizar o desvio entre o que é produzido e o que está em estoque. Pulmonary auscultation is the main method of physical examination of the thorax that leads to a more accurate analysis of pulmonary function to detect respiratory diseases. This procedure is used by its functionality, as it is a non-invasive procedure and also because of the fast detection of abnormalities. Due to Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), this technique has become essential to determine the severity of the disease, as it makes it possible to identify respiratory changes such as snoring and others problems. Therefore, this work presents a project space exploration to a system capable of performing automatic pulmonary auscultation, through a device capable of capturing the frequency of lung sounds. Many sensor nodes were implemented to evaluate the best solution to fit the auscultation problem. This system uses integration between hardware and software, using a microphone sensor node and a microcontroller board to process the data. Thedata collection was carried out through a structured questionnaireand the data analysis was conducted based on the benefits reportedin the literature. This type of cancer, if detected early, increases the chances of cure. However, with the lack of health professionals qual-ified to perform this procedure, for example, in distant regions large urban centers, difficulties in early diagnosis process are recurring. Thus, a possible solution to this problem is the development of mod-els that allow classification for the diagnosis skin based on Deep Learning. It is caused by many factors that should be known to be treated. Some analytical tools can help in this intent, especially when the proper data is well organized in a consistent structure and format. This paper presents a technical approach to allow homogeneous analysis for different scholar data sources, applying it to the dropout domain. Data from United Nations (UN) indicates that until 2050 will occur a more significant water scarcity due to the increasing demand for it in emerging countries, mainly with the populational growth of these locals. A conscious consumption by society can softy this effect preserving natural reserves and increasing water security. This premise is used to support the development of this work, which proposes the creation of a low-cost computational system that detects water leakages in residences using Internet of Things concepts. The system includes data acquisition, transmission, processing, and finally displays the information to the user. Empirical assessments about the data transmitting process and a comparison of different architectures and leakage detection techniques are in development to demonstrate proposal viability.
