Equipment withlow implementation cost and energy consumption are highlightedfor highly scalable applications. The datasets generated by thesensors feed machine learning algorithms for the weatherconditions analysis in urban centers. However, sensor technologyused in these systems tends to be less accurate than complexequipment, resulting in a strong correlation between the collecteddata and the climatic elements variation. This paper studies theinfluence of temperature and relative humidity in low cost airquality monitoring systems. This knowledge can generate newapproaches to the monitored metrics conditioning and increasethe robustness of the low cost systems.","PeriodicalId":375380,"journal":{"name":"Anais do XIII Computer on the Beach - COTB'22","volume":"330 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115875100","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A study is performed consideringtwo transmission lines. At the end, in order to analyze theperformance of the proposed methodology, experiments are carriedout to optimize the positioning of TLSAs in the mentioned OHTLs.To validate the developed methodology, the results obtained arecompared with the results acquired through the coupling of a GA(Genetic Algorithm) with the ATP and with the results achievedthrough a classic method for the placement of TLSAs based on thetower-footing impedances. The results show that aspects such asthe lightning surge transfer effect and favoring the positioning ofTLSAs in the lowest phase(s) should be considered in future studiesfor the design of algorithms for optimal placement of arresters onOHTLs.","PeriodicalId":375380,"journal":{"name":"Anais do XIII Computer on the Beach - COTB'22","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124068002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Along with spinal cord injury is one of the main motor disorders that lead to physical deterioration and loss of independence in a individual. The use of robots in medicine is becoming more and more recommended because robots have more precision, speed, fatigue-free repetition and shorter operating time among other things. Rehabilitation robo- tic arms have passive, active-assistive and active resistive therapies. In this work, a system to control a robotic arm for the rehabilitation of upper limbs that acts in passive mode was developed. Among the objectives are the implementation of a passive mode control, hardware development, human-machine interface and a system integration analysis. This work is justified due to the promising results of robotic rehabilitation, increased effort at a scientific level to develop neurotechnologies and the studies that were analyzed demonstrating that robotic therapy brings benefits in the functiona- lity of the upper limbs in patients who have suffered a stroke. The development of this work presents a passive mode control inspired by an execution of InMotion, elaborated with the help of a phy- siotherapist, displaying a user-friendly graphical interface which presents the patient’s data and allows them to be saved and used later. Tests showed that the execution of the exercise performed smoothly, without discontinuity with constant speed and correctly stored exercise data.","PeriodicalId":375380,"journal":{"name":"Anais do XIII Computer on the Beach - COTB'22","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127442910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among the main reasons for dropping out are the student’s difficulty in following the content, the struc- ture proposed by the course and the lack of financial resources. In recent years, several studies have emerged to try to identify groups of students at risk of dropping out, either by identifying the factors that can contribute to dropout, or by creating classifiers based on Machine Learning. However, researches focus essentially on categorical indicators, that is, with binary results, which denote that the student is or is not in the risk group. This type of anal- ysis is important, however, it does not show the variation in the student’s performance during their academic life, in addition to not offering a score within a performance score. Differently, this project use Machine Learning techniques in the creation of a Score, in order to provide a thermometer to analyze how close the student is or not to the dropout group. Preliminary results are promising, because when using KNN to create the Score, it was possible to develop a Score with the best result of hyperparameters found in the experiments.","PeriodicalId":375380,"journal":{"name":"Anais do XIII Computer on the Beach - COTB'22","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122664051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One source to find these libraries can be popular questionanswerwebsites, blogs, personal web pages and the usage of toolsthat can automatically suggest libraries. Popularity might be onecriterion that developers can use when choosing a library. In thiswork, we performed an empirical evaluation through mining Pythonprojects hosted in GitHub to identify the most popular used modules.We selected 129 projects based on specific criteria, one of thembeing the number of stars that reflects their popularity. To automatethe data extraction process, we developed the PySniffer, an opensourcetool that performs a static code analysis in Python scripts,checking which modules from both the standard library and externalmodules are used in a project. Our tool also has a front-end thatcan display the data more friendly with statistical information. Asa result, we generated a list with the top used modules in Pythonprojects hosted in GitHub, serving as complementary informationalongside the most popular libraries informed in personal blogs andwebsites.","PeriodicalId":375380,"journal":{"name":"Anais do XIII Computer on the Beach - COTB'22","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132502345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
