Thus, automated solutions based on computer vision techniques to detect, react or even prevent relevant events such as robbery, car crashes and traffic jams can be accomplished and implemented for the sake of both logistical and surveillance improvements. In this paper, we present an approach for vehicles’ abnormal behaviours detection from highway footages, in which the vectorial data of the vehicles’ displacement are extracted directly from surveillance cameras footage through object detection and tracking with a deep convolutional neural network and inserted into a long-short term memory neural network for behaviour classification. The results show that the classifications of behaviours are consistent and the same principles may be applied on other trackable objects and scenarios as well.","PeriodicalId":375380,"journal":{"name":"Anais do XIII Computer on the Beach - COTB'22","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123531138","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mainobjective of this work is to propose a model to optimally allocatereclosers in distribution feeders with a Multi-Objective GeneticAlgorithm (MOGA) that is modeled, validated by exhaustivesearch, when possible, due to computational limitation, proving itseffectiveness. Among the possibilities, the Pareto Multi-objectiveOptimization Genetic Algorithm (PMOGA) was chosen for thiswork. Then, the developed methodology was applied in real feederswith and without Distributed Generation. Finally, it is concludedthat the proposed model for the allocation of reclosers is adequateto solve the problem and positively affects the reliability and canbe used in most of the current electricity distribution networks.","PeriodicalId":375380,"journal":{"name":"Anais do XIII Computer on the Beach - COTB'22","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128290525","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This task can be done manually orthrough software that most often uses genetic alignment techniques, which is not a very effective way for this purpose. In this oppor-tunity for collaboration between biology and computer science using machine learning techniques, the objective was to predictthe intron and exon regions in filamentous fungi genes as well totranslate the identified regions intro proteic codons. In this paper,the problem was modeled as a supervised learning problem, basedon training a set of genes obtained from GenBank that alreadyhave the intron and exon regions identified. The machine learningmodel used in this work was the Condicional Random Fields (CRF).Through the values resulting from the metrics applied to the model,it can be seen that it is possible to achieve a good precision in thetask of identifying the intron and exon regions as well the proteiccodons. Thus, although there is a need for a greater diversity ofdatabase characteristics to support the effectiveness of identifyingthe splicing sites, this paper gives evidence that it is possible topredict these splicing sites with a good accuracy.","PeriodicalId":375380,"journal":{"name":"Anais do XIII Computer on the Beach - COTB'22","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123903215","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
