School Principal Leadership Behavior – A Multi Case Study 学校校长领导行为-多个案研究

The purpose of this research, therefore, is to describe the interpersonal communication, decision-making, exemplary, reward, and punishment Behavior of the School Principal. This study uses a qualitative approach with multi-case study design and purposive sampling, which continues to snowball sampling. Data validity techniques are through triangulation. The results showed that the interpersonal communication Behavior of principals leads to high work motivation, encourage teacher performance optimally, and creates a conducive learning climate. Principal's decision making is evident from the paternalistic leadership Behavior towards teachers, increasing self-confidence and improves the quality of human resources in the school. The exemplary behavior of the principal raises the attitude of discipline, fairness, and teacher responsibility, apart from creating making teachers creative and hardworking. Reward Behavior increases motivation for self-actualization, and the resolution of cases is carried out with a balance between the strictness of rules and humanitarian relations. This study implies that the interpersonal communication behavior of the principal at the Limbung Bay State Elementary School and Darul Falah Islamic Elementary School has been carried out effectively. Educational standards of an institution, in this case, can be seen from the work motivation given by the school principal and the cooperation established within the school community in the form of helping each other. It uses a qualitative approach with multi-site design and data collection techniques through interviews, observation. The data were analyzed descriptively began with reduction, presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the character values include religious/love of God, care for the environment or the universe and its contents, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work and unyielding, creative, independent, patriotism/love of peace and unity, responsibility, social care/philanthropic, like helping, and cooperation, democratic, curiosity, enthusiasm, respect for achievement, friendly and communicative, fond of reading, respectful and polite, confident, fairness and leadership, kind, and humble. The effective strategies for implementing character education include habituation, exemplary, direction, assignment, and environmental conditioning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of K13, using the qualitative and multi-site study design in State Senior High Schools 4 and 6 of Palangka Raya. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation from principals, curriculum representatives, teachers, and selected students through the purposive sampling technique. Furthermore, data validity was carried out through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results show that both schools (1) have properly implemented K13, although it is not yet effective (2) its training and socialization were provided by the LPMP, supervisors, as well as the Ministry of Education and Culture, (3) its obstacle, include teach-ers’ less optimal ability in utilizing learning tools and infrastructure, (4) principals and curriculum representatives were able to provide solutions tailored to meet the obstacles experienced by schools and teachers to create a pleasant and meaningful classroom atmosphere, and (5) educational quality, seen from the achievements of students and schools is have properly. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Research settings in group B children in Sayang Ibu kindergarten Cukan Lipai, Batang Alai Selatan District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, amounting to 16 children in the 2019/2020 school year, consisting of 15 boys and six girls. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and interviews and assessment of aspects of cognitive development. Indicators of the success of teacher activities score 27-32 with an outstanding category, children's activities reach ≥ 82% (very active) and the development of children's literacy of at least 80% of children or get a 3 star (★★★) with the category of developing in line with expectations (BSH). This is an ex post facto study with the linear regression analysis, which is simple and multiple. The population in this research is all civil servant teachers in the north Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City. The samples of this research are 163 teachers. The researcher collected the data through questionnaire techniques and observation. The analysis was done by using the correlation test and F test. The results show that: (1) transformational relationship has a direct relationship to teacher performance; the headmaster supervision with the teacher achievement motivation; and (2) there is an indirect relationship of the headmaster transformational leadership and the teacher performance through achievement motivation; the headmaster academic supervision with the teacher performance through achievement motivation. Community participation is needed in the management of educational services following the needs of the school. To accommodate public participation, a forum called the school committee was formed. The objective of this study is to describe the extent role of school committees in improving student learning achievement as supporters, controllers, and mediators. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site design. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentary analysis. obtained from this study indicate that the school committee plays an active role in improving student learning outcomes. This is a quantitative study with a simple proportionate sampling technique used to obtain data from 139 teachers from a total of 213 in 11 State Senior High Schools in Banjar District. The data were collected using a valid and reliable 1-4 Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis with calculations using SPSS. The study uses an explanatory survey method with a quantitative approach, a sample size of 142 taken randomly from 221 teachers in all State Vocational High School of Banjar Regency. The questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability, and the data were analyzed descriptively using path analysis. The results of this research showed applied leadership style is participative, as evidenced by the involvement of all school members in key aspects such as the school program, joint decision, personal selection and delegation of authority, information disclosure, and communication.
