Allkivi","doi":"10.5128/ERYA10.18","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5128/ERYA10.18","url":null,"abstract":"Artiklis kirjeldatakse 20. sajandi teise poole eesti ilukirjanduskeele kasutusmustreid, mis naitavad, kuidas emakeelekoneleja eelistab oma motteid kirjalikult valjendada. Uurimisaines on saadud Tartu Ulikooli pindsuntaktiliselt margendatud ja uhtlustatud ilukirjanduskorpusest. Rakendatud on klasteranaluusi, mis toob tekstivalimis sageduse alusel esile uhesuguseid morfo- ja suntaksimargendite lineaarseid jargnevusi. Valitud on trigrammid, mis esinesid korpuses kaks ja enam korda. Keelekasutuse uldised mustrid on valja toodud trigrammide esikomponendi sonaliigilise kuuluvuse jargi. Nii tulevad esile morfoloogilised klassid ja alamklassid, mis moodustuvad uhise algus- ja lopukomponendiga sonaliigijarjenditest. Iga alamklass holmab morfoloogilisi klastreid, kuhu trigrammid koonduvad keskmise komponendi sonaliigi varieerumise alusel. Morfosuntaktilise trigrammi moodustavad sonajarjendid, mille komponendid kattuvad nii sonaliigi ja vormi kui ka suntaktilise funktsiooni poolest. Morfoloogiliste klasside, alamklasside, klastrite ja morfosuntaktiliste trigrammide hierarhia toob esile keelekasutuse uldised tendentsid ja morfosuntaktilise ning leksikaalse varieerumise piirid. {"title":"Adjektiivide polüseemia korpuses ja sõnaraamatus","authors":"M. Esimeses pooles vaadeldakse valimi jagunemist mitmetahenduslikkuse aspektist ja selleks, et selgitada poluseemia ja struktuuri suhteid, analuusitakse ka adjektiivide morfoloogilise struktuuri varieerumist. Teises pooles keskendutakse semantilistele tuupidele, mille abil saaks mitmetahenduslike adjektiivide tahendusnihkeid paremini kirjeldada. Tutvustatakse semantiliste tuupide rakendusvoimalusi sonaraamatute koostamisel ja pakutakse valja eesti adjektiivi peamised semantilised tuubid. {"title":"Sõnasemantika ja teksti mõistmine põhikooli esimeses ja teises kooliastmes","authors":"Krista Uibu, Maile Timm","doi":"10.5128/ERYA10.20","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5128/ERYA10.20","url":null,"abstract":"Sonasemantika ehk sona tahenduse tundmine on oluline tervikteksti sisu moistmisel. Kui sonade tahendus ei kinnistu, voib teksti moistmine kujuneda opilastele probleemiks koigis kooliastmetes. Kaesoleva pikiuurimuse eesmark oli valja selgitada, mil maaral muutub sonatahenduse tundmine ja teksti moistmine pohikooli esimeses ja teises kooliastmes. Artiklis analuusitakse 3.–5. klassi opilaste sonatahenduse ning kahe raskusastmega tekstimoistmise ulesannete sooritust. Uuringus osales 508 opilast (267 tudrukut ja 241 poissi) 30 Eesti uldhariduskoolist. Selgus, et teksti moistmine oli parem opilastel, kes tundsid paremini erinevate sonade tahendust. Soolises vordluses edestasid tudrukud poisse koigil kolmel aastal sonatahenduse tundmises ja teksti moistmise keerukamas ulesandes, mis eeldas head info integreerimise oskust. Tudrukud tundsid poistest paremini ka nende sonade tahendust, mida nad olid varem oppinud. Et toetada opilaste semantilist padevust ja teksti moistmist, on oluline arvestada nende arengulist eripara ning pakkuda lugemiseks voimetele ja huvidele vastavaid tekste. The discussion involves the analysis of the ratings of twenty video-recordings of oral proficiency interviews by two rater groups of the Estonian and Russian origin, and a questionnaire study investigating rater perceptions of the national examination. Despite the lack of any marked cultural bias being displayed in the raters’ behaviour, the results of the study reveal a number of significant differences in their perceptions of various aspects of the national examination as well as their own behaviour during the rating process. {"title":"Authorship verification of opinion pieces in Estonian","authors":"Timo Petmanson","doi":"10.5128/ERYA10.16","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5128/ERYA10.16","url":null,"abstract":"Authorship verification is an important subproblem in authorship attribution and plagiarism detection tasks. We present a novel approach for extracting stylistic features unique to individual authors. We use the correlations of important textual features as a way to learn the style. The goal of our proposed method is to answer the following question: given a set of documents known to be written by the same person and an unknown document, is the unknown document also written by that individual. We present the first study of this problem conducted on opinion pieces written in Estonian. Our method achieves 74% precision, which is comparable with current state-of-the-art systems tested in other languages, whereas the recall level is still something to be improved on. Siinses artiklis vaadeldakse sonaliikide jaotumist ja esinemissagedust eesti lapse kone varasel kone arengu perioodil vanuses 1;3–2;3 ning lapsele suunatud kones. Analuusiks on kasutatud kahe lapse spontaanse kone lindistusi mahus kokku 16 tundi. Materjalist ilmneb, et ka eesti lastel on sarnaselt inglise keelt konelevate lastega varase sonavara hulgas ulekaalus nimisonad. Samas ei anna vanemate kone neile sellist sonaliikide jaotumist ette, vanemate kones moodustavad nimisonad umbes veerandi koikidest sonedest. Vaadeldud aasta jooksul nimisonade esinemissagedus laste keeles vaheneb ning vanuses 2;3 sarnaneb laste kone sonaliikide jaotumine vanemate omaga. Sel eesmargil on kokku koondatud lahenemised erinevatest inimest puudutavates teadusharudest nagu neuroloogia, kirjandusteadus, sotsiaalpsuhholoogia, filosoofia jne. Eri perspektiividena kasitletakse kuulaja, teksti peategelase, autori ja lugeja emotsioonide kujunemist. Seejarel kirjeldatakse, kuidas lisab vokaalseid emotsioone inimesest ettelugeja ning kuidas lahenetakse teksti ja emotsioonide vahekorrale afektirehkenduse valdkonnas. Artikli lopuosas esitatakse visioon keskmise lugeja emotsionaalset reageeringut jaljendavast virtuaalsest Emonculus ’est kui voimalikust tulevikuperspektiivist emotsionaalse prosoodia lisamisel sunteeskonele.
