The sample group consisted of 30 eighth-grade Chinese students. Quantitative data were collected through four lesson plans: a pre-test, a post-test, and a questionnaire, and were analyzed using means, standard deviations, and paired sample t-tests. The data collection lasted for four weeks. The results obtained from the pretest and posttest showed that the students in the sample group improved their English vocabulary skills with a pretest score (x = 20.93, SD = 3.97), and a posttest score (x = 25.20, SD = 2.41). The data collected from the questionnaire demonstrated that all items on the questionnaire were rated at the highest level. Most students in the sample group expressed positive satisfaction with the use of mind mapping and game teaching methods in English vocabulary learning. This study demonstrated that the use of the mind mapping and game teaching methods provided an alternative and effective method for learning English vocabulary. Therefore, English teachers from all over the world, including China, can consider this method an option.","PeriodicalId":343498,"journal":{"name":"The EUrASEANs: journal on global socio-economic dynamics","volume":"140 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140484390","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The program was developed to reduce students’ dropout intentions. A mixed-methods approach was used for the study. Three hundred eighty-one students participated in the study. A statistical analysis was carried out to obtain the mean and standard deviation. Multiple regression analysis was utilized to find significant variables. The qualitative method was used to develop a program. The overall dropout intention at private universities in Hunan province was 3.71, which still had room to reduce students’ dropout intention. The program was developed based on students’ institutional integration and effective dropout activities. The program contained five significant items from the data analysis results: academic challenge (ß=.261, P=.000); academic support (ß=.195, P=.000); peer mentoring and tutoring (ß=.197, P=.000); diversity experiences (ß=.132, P=.019); and social support (ß=.109, P=.032). This program was applied to 66 students at Hunan International Economics University. The t-test results showed: t (69) = -18.32, p =.000 <.05 significance level, which supported a significant difference between before and after attending the program.","PeriodicalId":343498,"journal":{"name":"The EUrASEANs: journal on global socio-economic dynamics","volume":"193 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140484068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The impoverished students from three universities in Jiangxi Province, China, provided 274 questionnaires as a data resource for this study. Through the analysis of SEM (structural equation modeling), this study found that the survival and relationship development of funded impoverished students affect the development of impoverished students in universities. The growth and development of impoverished students are not significant because the impact of impoverished students still in poverty on the development of impoverished students is not very significant. It is worth noting that the development of the ability to adapt to the environment and social communication abilities plays the most important role in the intensity of the development of impoverished students in universities. Economic assistance in colleges and universities is the best means to meet the material needs of poor college students and is a prerequisite for their survival and relationship development. The study used a mixed-methods approach and involved 36 students and four teachers. The participants were divided into two groups. One watched the film with bilingual subtitles, while the other only watched it with English subtitles. Both groups were tested together, and the data was analyzed using the SPSS model. The ANOVA results and descriptive statistics showed no significant difference between the two groups regarding post-test performance, vocabulary acquisition, and content comprehension. The semi-structured interview with the participants revealed the advantages and disadvantages of using English films with bilingual subtitles to teach or learn English. Although the participants agreed that this practice was feasible, they expressed concerns about the quality of the film resources and the delivery of instructions.","PeriodicalId":343498,"journal":{"name":"The EUrASEANs: journal on global socio-economic dynamics","volume":"376 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140480008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Technology continues to evolve and innovate, and the future of research that could impact educational technology in online education flourishes tremendously. To better integrate new technologies to improve the quality and effectiveness of online education, the TPACK Model has been found effective. Implementing measures using guidelines for these new technological tools in online education can help improve the management of post-COVID-19 online pedagogy. Thus, training on how this model can be used to meet the learner's needs and training the teachers on the methods of exemplary implementation would help to better provide educators with practical pedagogical tools that not only meet the individual needs of different educators but also improve the sustainability and quality of online education administration.","PeriodicalId":343498,"journal":{"name":"The EUrASEANs: journal on global socio-economic dynamics","volume":"438 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140502453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After many changes and developments, it has now been widely used in primary and secondary schools in China. The establishment and implementation of this system enabled China's education to develop rapidly. However, with the development of the times and the progress of society, this system must also keep pace with the times to adapt. A conceptual model is built based on the relationship between the school's organizational structure, organizational decision-making, organizational justice, and organizational performance. Taking Baise City No. 5 Middle School as an example, it takes the four relationships between the \"school management model, school decision-making, management justice, and management effectiveness.\" \"Interrelationship\" as the core topic, a scientific and reasonable questionnaire was set up, 163 school teachers were measured, and then statistical methods were used to analyze and verify the hypotheses proposed in this article.
