RMUTR presents a unique context, characterized by specific challenges and opportunities that delineate its journey towards embedding sustainability. Using a Theory of Change (ToC) model, this study indicatespathways for adaptation, offering insights into capacity building, curriculum development, student engagement, sustainable operations, and strategic partnerships, all underlined by the university’s distinct characteristics. The findings shown the dynamic interplay between RMUTR’s size, resources, and stakeholder engagement patterns in shaping its approach to SDG integration. Resource limitations are balanced with flexibility and adaptability, offering nuanced strategies that are contextually relevant and potentially replicable. The study underscores the importance of a customized approach, where SDG integration is not a linear, universal process but is influenced by the specific institutional, cultural, and resource contexts. The study draws on four theoretical frameworks: legitimacy theory, stakeholder theory, agency theory, and resource-based view theory. Qualitative research methods, including interviews and document analysis, are used to collect data from relevant stakeholders, such as administrators, faculty, and students. The study finds that while Yunnan College of Business Management has implemented various asset management strategies, there are still opportunities for improvement in areas such as asset utilization and maintenance. The results also suggest that the university should consider the interests of various stakeholders, including students, faculty, and donors, to improve the legitimacy and sustainability of its asset management practices. Based on these findings, this study recommends that the university develop a comprehensive asset management plan that is consistent with its mission and values, adopts advanced technology for asset tracking and maintenance, and establishes a transparent and accountable asset management system. In 2020, the gross enrollment rate will reach 54.4%, and the total number of students in higher education accounts for one-fifth of the total scale of higher education in the world, ranking first in the world in terms of scale. The scale of higher education in China has grown, and the continuous increase in investment in higher education funds has increased the difficulty of controlling financial risks. Strengthening the prevention and control of financial risks in colleges and universities and strengthening the construction of internal control will be of great significance to the healthy development of universities. To understand the sources and causes of financial risks in universities, this study interviews the financial staff of S University and constructed a structural map of financial risks in universities using the grounded theory method to obtain data. The researchers compiled a questionnaire to study the financial risk of universities, distributed and received back 308 questionnaires at S University. Based on resource dependence theory and dynamic capability theory, a theoretical model is constructed by introducing the two dimensions of knowledge power, discourse power, and disciplinary power, and through quantitative analysis of panel data of China's manufacturing listed companies from 2011 to 2020, it is found that knowledge power hurts innovation performance, has a positive impact, and further demonstrates that dynamic capabilities play a moderating role in the relationship between knowledge power and innovation performance. When dealing with complex internal and external environments, digital transformation positively strengthens the moderation of dynamic capabilities in the relationship between knowledge power and innovation performance. This paper takes listed companies in heavily polluting industries in China's A-share market as the research object, selects data from 2008 to 2017, and establishes a hierarchical regression model to explore the influence of media attention and environmental regulation on enterprises' green technology innovation. The results show: (1) there is a significant positive correlation between media attention and green technology innovation; (2) command-based and market-based environmental regulations positively regulate the relationship between media attention and green technology innovation for enterprises. This paper argues that media attention plays a role in external supervision and governance, stimulating enterprises' green technology innovation behavior. It analyzes the bilayer structure of collaborative innovation networks, namely, the firm-knowledge bipartite network. The study investigates the impact of firm knowledge characteristics (diversity and uniqueness) on breakthrough and incremental innovation within collaborative innovation networks. The research employs patent data from Chinese A-share high-tech manufacturing companies listed from 2000 to 2018 and verifies the related hypotheses using a negative binomial regression model. The results suggest that, within collaborative innovation networks, firm knowledge diversity has a negative impact on breakthrough innovation but a positive impact on incremental innovation. On the other hand, firm knowledge uniqueness plays a positive role in breakthrough innovation but a negative role in incremental innovation. This study extends the understanding of firm technological innovation by considering both breakthrough and incremental innovation as distinct behaviors, providing a new perspective on the mechanisms underlying different innovation behaviors.
