The conceptual model suggests that extended operating days lead to better service quality and increased revenue. The operational framework involves data comparison using unpaired t-tests and descriptive statistics. Assumptions include an expected increase in on-time renewals with weekend operations. The hypothesis predicts a higher renewal rate in 2023. The research design employs a descriptive and quantitative approach. Data obtained ethically undergoes analysis using an unpaired t-test. Results indicate a significant increase in on-time renewals in 2023, supporting the hypothesis. Recommendations include strategies for the government to optimize licensing office hours and encourage timely renewals. License holders are advised to capitalize on the extended period, and future researchers are encouraged to explore broader datasets for comprehensive analyses.","PeriodicalId":343498,"journal":{"name":"The EUrASEANs: journal on global socio-economic dynamics","volume":"379 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140479998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The structural equation modeling (SEM) method was used to test the research model. The aim was to explore the influence of autonomous motivation on the travel knowledge sharing intention and behavior of mobile social media knowledge content creators, as well as the moderating effect of platform incentives (controlled motivation) on the relationship between knowledge sharing intention and behavior. The study addressed the question of how travel knowledge sharing behavior among mobile social media knowledge content creators is generated. The results showed that the autonomous motivation of knowledge contributors is positively related to travel knowledge sharing intention and behavior, and the strength of platform incentives (controlled motivation) positively moderates the extent to which knowledge sharing intention translates into knowledge sharing behavior. The innovation of this study lies in its first attempt to measure the autonomous motivation of knowledge creators to share knowledge using a hierarchical user experience, expanding the measurement dimensions of autonomous motivation. Additionally, the finding that platform incentives (controlled motivation) have a positive moderating effect on the relationship between travel knowledge sharing intention and behavior differs from the majority of existing research perspectives.","PeriodicalId":343498,"journal":{"name":"The EUrASEANs: journal on global socio-economic dynamics","volume":"17 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140482187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An exploratory sequential design, one of the mixed-methods approaches, was adopted. Five private universities in Hunan Province, China, were selected for data collection, and the sample of instructors in the current study is 356. The qualitative data analysis results revealed that there was still significant room for improvement in the five universities. Advanced statistical analyses demonstrated the significant impacts of seven job resources and six self-leadership strategies on teacher engagement. The interactive effect between job resources and self-leadership on teacher engagement was also verified to be statistically significant. Accordingly, the dual-drive model was conducted, which highlighted the role of job resources as the external force and self-leadership strategies as the internal drive. The model consisted of 13 significant factors, based on which innovative strategies were finally developed for teacher engagement with experts’ validation.","PeriodicalId":343498,"journal":{"name":"The EUrASEANs: journal on global socio-economic dynamics","volume":"33 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140481239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objectives of this study were: 1) to explore the factors affecting the leadership competency of teachers; 2) to determine the levels of leadership competency of Chinese vocabulary teachers in Kenya; 3) to test the practical effect of sound change law in Chinese vocabulary teaching; and 4) to develop and verify a leadership model to improve the teaching effect of Chinese vocabulary at Confucius Institutes in Kenya. There were 308 students from the Confucius Institutes at the University of Nairobi and Kenyatta University who participated in the study. The data was analyzed through content analysis, descriptive statistics, and a paired samples t-test. The results of the survey showed that the supportive leadership approach (M = 4.32, SD = 0.46) was the style mainly used by Chinese language teachers. The results of the paired samples t-test indicated that the Chinese vocabulary test scores of thirty students after they received instruction on the sound change law was significantly higher than before they received instruction on the sound change law. The results of the paired samples t-test of competency indicated that the score of five expert teachers after they received leadership competency training was significantly higher than before they received the training. Therefore, the effectiveness of Chinese vocabulary teaching at the Confucius Institutes in Kenya can be enhanced by improving the leadership competency of teachers.","PeriodicalId":343498,"journal":{"name":"The EUrASEANs: journal on global socio-economic dynamics","volume":"214 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140484301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
