The latter seek to gain a realistic picture of the history of music, including contemporary ways of thinking, and allow for historical actors to make meaningful, free will decisions within anthropologically determined circumstances. The emphatic science of art, on the other hand, claims to be able to prove and scientifically determine the objects of great art music and their nature. It originated during the Enlightenment, when philosophy took the place of religion and created ever new theoretical constructs of thought presented as scientifically proven and binding. In music, Beethoven rose to the ideal of the ingenious creator, who embodied the progress and achievements of mankind on the path toward perfection. Thus, in the course of the 19th century, a Beethoven cult developed using philosophy as its guide in selecting and evaluating historical sources, gladly accepting literary testimonies as historical fact. Historical criticism, which revealed this construction of a romantic image of Beethoven, was suppressed for a long time. Society’s broad acceptance of the notion of the evolutionary progress of mankind, one to which modernity adhered, proved too powerful, and belief in it took the form of an art religion. Beethoven as Zeus of the Third Reich, as the god of modernity, was the program and message of the 14th Secession Exhibition in Vienna in 1902. This image was destructed in the late 20th century.

The first is identified as modern, the second is as postmodern, and the third is as neo-modern. The dialogical model is characterized by an orientation to the ontological presence of the Other as a source of self-identification. In its maximum manifestation, it leads to universalism and unification in globalism. The phenomenological model is characterized by an orientation to the ontic presence of the Other as an imaginary image. In its maximum manifestation, it leads to particularism and relativization in multiculturalism. Globalism and multiculturalism, as patterns of modernity and postmodernity, are seen as different manifestations of one concept of Western rationality, modernity, which leads to the repression of the Other. A radical break with modernity is the critical theory (Freudo-Marxism), which declares the ontological absence of the Other as the basic existential trauma of the subject in the symbolic field of culture. Through the prism of the critical model, the dialogic and phenomenological models of the Other are interpreted as projections of the desires of Ego and are deconstructed toward the detection of the original trauma. Overcoming this trauma should contribute to the removal of typical oppositions of Western society.

Huntington with an attempt to reconsider the concept of civilizations, often complex, heterogeneous, and polar in structure and ideology, which our state is situated. According to article data, the civilization analysis by Huntington turned out to be a prophecy in terms of serious challenges the countries located on the "fault lines" might face regarding maintaining their integrity because of their specific location, historical, economic, and sociopolitical development, situated in the field of interests of competing civilizations. It is revealed that in times of rising level of conflicts, the idea of civilizations confrontation becomes defining principle of global development in the beginning of the XXI century. The mutual trust, and equality are emphasized as a must for successful civilizational dialogue and Western European cooperation in conditions of Kremlin aggressive policies. It is concluded that the hybrid war first and the full-scale war then, both started by Russian aggressor finally proved the necessity for our country to become a full member of the European community and to overcome all the barriers on this way. Therefore, a particular attention is paid to overcome existing barriers for Ukraine to enter the European Community, emphasizing the urgent need to create common axiological guiding marks in terms of consolidating factors to ensure national unity and successful implementation of European integration strategy.

Many cultural institutions are changing the methods of working with the child audience, focusing on both the needs and requests of a child aiming to attract the child as an active cultural space figure to form their national identity. The subject of the study is the communicative properties of the components of the traditional Ukrainian children subculture, their application in the modern festival space.\u0000The article aims at studying the peculiarities of regional ethnoecological folk festivals. The author describes the structural and conceptual achievements of the «Kodyma-fest» festival, analyses the use of social networks as a form of research on the ethnocultural heritage of the Southern Podillia and the inclusion of these materials into the festival space. The topic relevance determines the need for research and the ethnoecological popularization of this experience.\u0000The results of the study can be used in the concepts and practices of the Ukrainian cultural and educational centres, public organizations and state institutions in organizing cultural and educational measures for the wider use of the components of the traditional Ukrainian children subculture.

Based on the chronological approach, it shows the place of Dadaism in the dynamics of the first experiments of French (Fauvism) and Italian (Futurism) avant-garde. Despite the lack of consistency in the aesthetical and artistic orientations of the Dadaists, the scatteredness in individual articles and manifestos of their ideas, the starting points should be the theses on the relation of the “Dada” art and “reality”, which at the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries, was distorted by poets and painters. Dada offers its own vision of “reality”, where various aspects of it can intersect, namely, social and artistic.\u0000The article considers originality of both the aesthetic and artistic, and political and ideological orientation of German and Swiss Dadaists, as well as the role of Dadaism in the formation of surrealism. It states that the theoretical searches of the Dadaists need further analysis, since their scientific explorations of the 1920s-30s went beyond the borders of European countries and aroused considerable interest among those writers and poets who, starting 1914, formed and developed the “Ukrainian model of futurism”.\u0000The author analyzed the most indicative artistic and expressive means “worked out” in the process of Dadaistic searches and confirmed the original aesthetic platform of this direction during the 1910s-30s conditions.

The present study grounds on the assumption that contemporary screen theories regard screen experience as a broad concept rather than a bunch of processes of visual consumption. Consequently, a creative product is viewed as a means for enriching human experience through the interaction of two types of embodiment and subjectivity: a human and a screen one. Such experience is construed via games with material features of the environment. A game creates space that encourages convergence with the object and accounts for the identification with the film as an event rather than identification with characters that are in the centre of the plot development.\u0000Drawing on contemporary touch aesthetics, the authors of the article reveal tactile features of screen experience proving that tactility deals not only with skin or screen but permeates through all the parts of viewer’s body as well as the film body.

Based on the proto-myth concept developed by the author, he distinguishes the structures of symbols in geometric ornaments identified as the image of the ‘deer goddess’.\u0000Results. The article distinguishes three subtypes of ‘deer goddess’ images based on which variants of ornaments were formed. These variants of ornaments were ‘constructed’ according to the same rules: ornaments with one goddess (fig. 2‒4, 13, 19), ornaments with two goddesses with joint thighs (fig. 6‒8, 13‒15, 20), ornaments with four goddesses (fig. 9, 10, 16, 17, 21), and ornaments formed from individual symbols of the goddess (fig. 11, 12, 18, 22). For comparison, some ornaments on the ‘theme’ of a deer in the embroidery of the Russian North were analyzed (fig. 23‒25).\u0000Novelty. For the first time in the practice of ornaments analyzing, the image of the ‘deer goddess’ was highlighted, the transformations of these images in the ornaments were traced, the relationship of these transformations with the structures formed by the goddesses on the Paleolithic and Neolithic artifacts was shown.\u0000The practical significance. The research showed that the geometric ornament has retained its semantics accessible to understanding. The author presents the characteristic of the conceptual evolution of the idea of multicultural coexistence and analyses the cognitive potential of the concepts of acculturation and cultural diffusion in the cultural and sociological studies. The scientific significance of generalization of the specialized knowledge concerning the real practices of realization of the multicultural projects into the processes of organizing the social order of modern societies under the contexts of increasing the global social movements of the forced and voluntary character of various ethnocultural groups and communities is argued.\u0000The article substantiates the need for wider use in scientific studies the concept of transculturalism which has distinct perspectives to become an effective methodological tool to provide the non-violent coexistence of interacting ethnocultural communities presenting different national-states and regional unions. The author identifies specific problematic complexes of transcultural studies paying attention: 1) to the problem of basic determinants that restrict the global universalism of multicultural politics; 2) to the problem of identification of the most conflicting spheres of the contemporary multicultural world; 3) to the problems of the integrative potential of new socio-cultural phenomena. The analysis focuses on the consideration of scientific literature and resources authors of which to a greater or lesser extent investigate this problem and emphasize the possibilities of cultural methodology regarding the study of globalization transformations and the formation processes of the cultural space of the modern world community.\u0000The investigation determines the existing crisis of scientific methodologies that stubbornly poses before researchers the urgent tasks of continuing the search for new methods and principles, the processes of globalization and the formation of cultural spaces in the era of civilizational globalization. A certain problem arises even more acutely for such a young scientific branch as cultural studies. In this regard, the author accentuates an extensive methodological possibility of cultural comparative studies, directly, its application to illuminate the issues of the origin and evolution of cultural space in the era of civilizational globalization. It is in the cultural space there are possibilities of functioning of different cultures, different eras, and the cultural space exists and acts as an operating system of the component of cultural activity united by common fundamental values.\u0000An analysis of existing sources and literature on the problems of civilization processes in the course of the formation of cultural space shows that it is the methods and principles of comparative studies within the cultural creation of ethnic groups that make it possible to overcome the tendencies of isolationism between different peoples and their cultures and traditions. Culturological comparative study, its principles and methods, makes it possible to study the genesis and to show the evolution of the spatial field of culture, its content, to highlight the processes of dialogue between cultures, the formation of globalization culture within a specific cultural space.\u0000The results of the research allow us to extrapolate the processes of globalization and the formation of cultural space on the materials of the development of Ukrainian culture.
