In the conditions of the third five-year plan, it has acquired particular urgency, since the textile workers of the country were tasked with significantly increasing production capacity in order to ensure the growth of output for the civilian population and technical fabrics. To do this, it was necessary not only to smooth out the consequences of the mass repressions of 1937-1938 in relation to managers and engineering and technical workers of factories and plants, but also to train a huge number of highly qualified specialists for the textile industry. The implementation of the task was carried out in conditions of an acute shortage of educational facilities, their congestion, as well as a shortage of dormitories for students and housing for the teaching staff of higher technical educational institutions. Important attention was paid to the activities of scientific research institutes, their relations with enterprises, and the introduction of scientific developments into production. Despite the creation of new textile districts in Western Siberia, Central Asia and Transcaucasia, the training of engineering and technical personnel was still carried out in Moscow, Leningrad and Ivanovo. The creation of new higher education institutions was hindered by the lack of capital investments, the lack of material and technical base, scientific and teaching staff, as well as the presence of other problems. It is noted that with the direct participation of otkhodniks at the beginning of the 20th century, the number of neologisms increases in the folklore and lexical composition of the Dagestan languages. This is explained by the fact that the dynamics of the phenomena of everyday life of otkhodniks of that period was associated with the city. The purpose of the study is to show the foreign cultural, urban, exotic influences reflected in the oral and poetic creativity, the languages of Dagestan. The authors made an attempt to identify the role of intercultural communication in these processes. Most clearly, other cultural, urban motifs are manifested in folklore, namely, in oral stories and non-ritual lyrics (songs about otkhodnichestvo). The otkhozhny trade has become widespread among a number of Dagestan peoples (Dargins, Lezgins, Laks and Tabasarans). Borrowed words and expressions found in folklore texts make it possible to trace the processes of interethnic contacts and intercultural communications of that era. Folklore and linguistic picture of the world in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. become a mirror of such communications. In general, the topic did not become the object of a special study. During the Soviet period this phenomenon was practically not considered for political and ideological reasons. Significant shifts began to occur with the collapse of the Soviet state and the subsequent democratisation of the political and spiritual system. In the 1990’s – the early 2000s, the military, ideological and political variant of collaboration became extremely popular among the researchers, however the administrative form of collaboration, especially on the regional level, still has dramatically poor analysis. The author of the article, analysing a significant layer of research works, tries to identify controversial and scientifically understudied directions in the consideration of administrative collaborationism. The researcher is not trying to limit himself to a superficial review of the general historiography; he rather seeks to identify the missing fragments of the study of such a complex phenomenon. The topicality of this work is explained, firstly, by the importance of introducing unpublished archival materials into scientific circulation and their critical analysis; secondly, by the need to assess the painstaking work of collectors of folklore and ethnographic materials in the XIX – beg. XX century – folklorists, ethnographers, correspondents of regional scientific societies, representatives of rural intelligentsia (teachers, priests), etc. The author’s focus is the manuscript “Wedding in Songs and Rites (in Kostroma County)” compiled from materials of the Kostroma Scientific Society for the Study of the Local Territory and the Kostroma Scientific Archival Commission; physical, graphic, and meaningful features of the manuscript are analyzed. Folklore material mainly a spoken repertoire – speeches and rhymes of wedding ranks and participants of the ritual (groomsman, brother of the bride, girls – friends of the bride, natives) is characterized, the proportion of which exceeds the number of texts of other genres (lamentations and songs). The latter circumstance distinguishes the manuscript from a large number of handwritten materials stored in different archives of Russia. The threat of the diminution of the ideals of objectivity and neutrality raises the need to study the possible strengthening of the journalistic voice as a trend that is gaining ground in the era of digital and social media. On the example of BuzzFeed News, Life, Regnum, UnCos|News, NeKhabar, Tengrinews, the degree of expression of the indicators of subjective journalistic voice in political news in crisis and non-crisis periods is determined. The results are compared with the intensity of the manifestation of the author's voice in the news texts created in line with the traditional media logic. The interconnections between the strength of the journalistic voice and the critical content of the publications are outlined. The author reveals the expansion of journalistic presence in the news, achieved by moving beyond the mode of strategic depersonalisation. The description is based on the materials of a typological linguistic study of the texts of military songs, the period of 1939-1945, in English and Russian. The selection of keywords was carried out on the basis of semantic, lexical-syntactic, morphological analysis, taking into account the frequency of their use. The frequency of using a word may not always be a defining feature for marking it as a keyword. Within the framework of one text, the keywords may be words that help understand the sense, unravel its deep meaning, remember the content. When combining a large number of texts, by authorship, chronology, thematic, stylistic or other relatedness, the frequency of keywords matters and can serve as a determining factor, a classification criterion. This paper shows that the results of the thematic distribution of texts based on the semantic analysis of their content correspond to the results of statistical analysis of the keywords and are confirmed by machine quantitative indicators of their frequency. The article assesses the ascetic activity of A.V. Gromov, a well-known connoisseur of Kostroma folk culture and language, dialectologist and lexicographer, teacher and ethnographer. The analysis of the ideas and scientific heritage of A.V. Gromov in the context of the problems of modern dialectography reveals the vitality and modern nature of the works of the local historian- scientist. All this justifies the need to republish the «Linen Dictionary», as well as the publication of unpublished works by A.V. Gromov. The article discusses the key issues of regional lexicology and lexicography, to which scientific reports were devoted: typological diversity of dictionaries; principles, methods and techniques of creation, sources of regional dictionaries; regional dictionaries as a source of ethnocultural information. A separate section of the article is devoted to the feedback of the participants of the Gromov Readings of different years (2012, 2014, 2016, 2022) about these conferences as a significant scientific event. The high scientific level and creative atmosphere characteristic of the Gromov readings are emphasized. The merits of N.S.
