This study used a qualitative approach with hermeneutics procedure. Each interpretation was an attempt to understand the meanings that are still veiled in a text. The data collection techniques in this study were carried out through the documentation of the interpretation of texts and literature studies. The interpretation was carried out in three stages: (1) whole understanding; (2) partial understanding; and (3) understanding of underlying meaning. The data analysis techniques in this study used the formulation of Miles & Huberman which included data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results showed that the peaceful mind based on Markesot Bertutur Lagi was: (1) thinking to forgive the mistakes of others; (2) thinking of finding strength rather than blaming yourself; (3) thinking to regulate self-emotions; and (4) thinking to regulate self-behavior. These four forms of peace of mind should be a reference for the school counselor to be the basis for implementing peace counseling to build peaceful thoughts in students. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menafsirkan pikiran damai berdasarkan teks yang berjudul Markesot Bertutur Lagi karya Emha Ainun Najib. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe hermeneutika. Setiap interpretasi adalah usaha untuk memahami makna-makna yang masih terselubung dalam sebuah teks. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui dokumentasi pemaknaan teks dan studi pustaka. Penafsiran dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu: (1) pemahaman keseluruhan (whole); (2) pemahaman bagian (part); dan (3) mendapatkan pemahaman pada yang melandasi makna (understanding of underlying meaning). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumusan dari Miles & Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pikiran damai berdasarkan penuturan Markesot adalah: (1) berpikir untuk memaafkan kesalahan orang lain; (2) berpikir untuk menemukan kekuatan diri daripada menyalahkan diri sendiri; (3) berpikir untuk meregulasi emosi diri; dan (4) berpikir untuk meregulasi perilaku diri. The research method used literature study and quantitative approach through a survey of 27 inclusive secondary school counselor across several regions in Indonesia. The MDC literature study rested on Mode Deactivation Therapy (MDT), while the survey results were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis techniques by looking at the categorization of school counselors’ answers. The results show that school counselors need an effective way to control adolescent sexual aggressiveness and this can be done through the application of MDC. Abstrak : Penelitian ini berupaya untuk menganalisis deskripsi kebutuhan MDC sebagai upaya untuk mengendalikan agresivitas seksual remaja. Metode penelitian digunakan studi literatur dan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei kepada 27 guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) yang tersebar di beberapa wilayah Indonesia. Studi literatur MDC berpijak pada MDT, sedangkan hasil survei dianalisis melalui teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dengan melihat kategorisasi dari jawaban guru BK. Students with high emotion regulation tend to minimize their aggressive behavior. However, some students have difficulty in regulating their emotions. Previous studies show that attachment and self-esteem influence emotion regulation. This study aims to examine the effect of the two variables on emotion regulation of students. 150 randomly selected students were involved in the study. Multiple linear regression was applied to analyze the research data. The results showed that there was a significant effect of attachments and self-esteem on emotion regulation. Attachment and self-esteem influence emotion regulation by 76.3% while other variables influence it by the remaining 23.7%. The result can be used as a basis for constructing guidance and counseling services that involve attachment and self-esteem to improve the emotion regulation of students. Abstrak : Regulasi emosi menjadi unsur penting bagi siswa untuk menunjang perkembangannya secara optimal. Akan tetapi, ada berbagai macam masalah terkait rendahnya tingkat regulasi emosi siswa, misalnya siswa menunjukkan berbagai tindakan kekerasan bahkan perilaku agresi. Beberapa variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap regulasi emosi adalah attachment dan harga diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh attachment , harga diri dengan regulasi emosi siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 150 siswa yang dipilih secara acak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara attachment dan harga diri dengan regulasi emosi. Attachment dan harga diri memengaruhi kemampuan regulasi emosi siswa sebesar 76,3% dan sisanya 23,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. To enact this void, the present study explores the factors affecting wisdom from the perspectives of Indonesian pre-service counselors (henceforth, participants). This study employed survey design to capture the participants’ perceptions. Participants involved in this study were 517 sixth semester pre-service counselors from eleven Guidance and Counseling Departments in Indonesia. Data were collected using questionnaire of Counselor Wisdom Antecedents Scale in the form of Likert five-level scale. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and exploratory factor analysis. The findings captured that there are six factors affecting wisdom of counselor from the perspectives of Indonesian pre-service counselors, namely: (1) social interaction and learning from experiences, (2) values and personality, (3) personal attributes, (4) meta-cognitive skills (critical and depth thinking skills), (5) context-facilitative, and (6) expertise/professionality. The results of this study recommend that counselor educators in the counseling education and supervision programs consider and optimize these factors to develop the wisdom of pre-service counselors. Abstrak : Kajian teoretik dan empirik terdahulu merekomendasikan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai faktor-faktor kearifan konselor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi berbagai faktor-faktor kearifan konselor menurut pandangan calon konselor Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif jenis survei. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 517 calon konselor semester keenam dari sebelas Departemen Bimbingan dan Konseling di Indonesia yang dipilih menggunakan teknik two stage random sampling . Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Skala Faktor-faktor Kearifan Konselor yang berbentuk skala lima jenjang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis faktor eksploratoris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat enam faktor kearifan konselor menurut pandangan calon konselor Indonesia, yaitu: (1) interaksi sosial dan belajar dari pengalaman; (2) nilai-nilai dan kepribadian; (3) atribut pribadi; (4) kecakapan metakognitif; (5) konteks-fasilitatif; dan (6) kepakaran. V., & Froman, R. D. in 1988 to determine the level of student self-efficacy. The multi-stage random sampling method was used with 342 students as participants in Indonesia. Furthermore, the validity was analyzed using Cronbach’s alpha item analysis that shows the coefficient of α > .3, and the data showed that 33 items of Indonesian CASES were valid. In addition, as regards reliability, Cronbach’s alpha was also used for the analysis, and the result shows that reliability coefficient of the Indonesian version of CASES was .931. Furthermore, it was concluded that the validity of CASES was satisfying to measure students’ self-efficacy, and the construct of Indonesian CASES can be helpful and applicable in understanding student self-efficacy and ready to be used in subsequent researches. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan validasi CASES versi bahasa Indonesia yang awalnya berasal dari barat, inventori ini dikembangkan oleh Owen, S. V., & Froman, R. D. pada tahun 1988 untuk mengukur tingkat efikasi diri siswa. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah multi-stage random sampling dengan 342 siswa di Indonesia. Selanjutnya, validitas dianalisis menggunakan analisis butir Alpha Cronbach yang menunjukkan koefisien α > 0,3, dan data menunjukkan bahwa 33 butir CASES versi Bahasa Indonesia valid. Selain itu, dalam analisis reliabilitas, Alpha Cronbach juga digunakan, dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa koefisien reliabilitas CASES versi Bahasa Indonesia adalah 0,931. This study is a comparative study with a sample of 796 students (452 males, 344 females). The sample selection is taken using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is the scale of self-regulation of emotion. Data analysis used to identify differences in self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students is independent samples test. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant difference between the self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students. This study recommends counseling service to improve self-regulation of emotion skills.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat perbedaan self-regulation of emotion antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparatif dengan sampel 796 siswa (452 laki-laki, 344 perempuan). Pemilihan sampel diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala self-regulation of emotion. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan self-regulation of emotion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan adalah independent samples test. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara self-regulation of emotion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. In choosing a career, many individuals experience problems. This study aims to: (1) create an interactive multimedia product containing career information to improve vocational high school students’ career maturity; (2) reveal the quality of interactive multimedia containing career information in improving vocational high school students’ career; and (3) understand the effectiveness of interactive multimedia containing career information in improving vocational high school students’ career maturity. This research development referred to Borg & Gall’s development research. In the feasibility stage, data collection was conducted by distributing multimedia feasibility test questionnaires to media experts and material experts; assessment questionnaires to students; and career maturity scale. Results indicated that the use of interactive multimedia containing career information effectively increased vocational high school students’ career maturity.Abstrak: Masa remaja merupakan fase kehidupan yang sangat penting dimana individu perlu menetapkan pilihannya pada suatu karier tertentu. Dalam memilih karier, banyak individu mengalami permasalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan sebuah produk multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK); (2) mengungkap kualitas kelayakan multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa SMK; dan (3) mengetahui keefektifan multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa SMK. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall. Pada tahap uji kelayakan, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar angket uji kelayakan multimedia kepada ahli media; ahli materi; dan angket penilaian untuk siswa serta skala kematangan karier. Evaluation model used was gap (discrepancy evaluation model). In addition, population in this research was students who had attended individual counseling. Furthermore, research samples were 104 students, obtained by using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection used was individual counseling scale. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. It used qualitative approach with case study design, in which the data was collected through interview and observation. The main informants were: coordinator of Mitra Industri Cikarang Foundation; principal; assistant principal of academic affairs and curriculum; dean of students; school counselor; homeroom teacher; and students of Mitra Industri MM2100 Vocational High School. The data was analyzed by category and reduction in accordance with the focus of the research. The results of the research show that guidance and counseling has important roles in strengthening the character education. guidance and counseling has active roles in the selection process; preventing deviant behaviors; and eradication of deviant behaviors in students. These roles are conducted collaboratively with the dean of students; homeroom teacher; parents; and students. The success of character education program in Vocational High School is determined by the establishment of the “golden triangle of communication” which is the common awareness and commitment between: school; parents; and students. In addition, daily and weekly evaluation and supervision allows the school, particularly guidance and counseling teacher to identify, anticipate and respond to the indication of behavior and character issues of the students in an appropriate manner. From the results of the research, the board of Vocational High School is recommended to develop a character education system collaboratively with school counselor; dean of students; parents; and students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran bimbingan dan konseling (BK) dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Mitra Industri MM2100, Cikarang, Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Informan utama adalah: pengurus Yayasan Mitra Industri Cikarang; kepala sekolah; wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum; wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan; guru BK; guru wali kelas; dan siswa SMK Mitra Industri MM2100. Data dianalisis dengan kategorisasi dan reduksi data sesuai dengan fokus penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BK memiliki peran penting dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter. BK berperan aktif dalam proses seleksi; pencegahan perilaku menyimpang; dan pengentasan penyimpangan perilaku siswa. Peran tersebut dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dengan kesiswaan; guru wali kelas; orangtua; dan siswa. Keberhasilan program pendidikan karakter di SMK dikarenakan terbangunnya “segitiga emas komunikasi” yaitu kesadaran dan komitmen bersama antara: sekolah; orangtua dan siswa. However, students performed various problems related to the students’ self-esteem level. For instance, students posted their activities and problems on social media. One variable affected self-esteem was students’ emotional control. This study aimed to identify the effect of emotional control on students’ self-esteem. This study involved 612 students as sample who were randomly selected in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data analysis technique in this research was regression analysis. Results indicated that there was a significant effect of emotional control on students’ self-esteem. This study recommended a counseling service to increase students’ self-esteem by involving emotional control variable.Abstrak: Harga diri merupakan unsur penting bagi siswa agar dapat berkembang secara optimal. Akan tetapi, siswa kerap kali mengalami masalah yang berkaitan dengan rendahnya harga diri mereka, misalnya siswa menunjukkan berbagai kegiatan dan masalahnya di media sosial. Salah satu variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap harga diri adalah regulasi emosi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh regulasi emosi terhadap harga diri siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 612 siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA) yang dipilih secara acak di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara regulasi emosi terhadap harga diri siswa.
