Pilihan menjadi wirausahawan adalah pilihan yang mendasar bagi setiap orang. Pengintegrasian nilai-nilai kewirausahaan, dalam konsep pendidikan multikultur, dapat dilakukan dengan cara membentuk karakter. Konsep pendidikan yang menyenangkan dan saling menghargai perbedaan akan memberikan kemudahan dalam memberikan pemahaman mengenai nilai-nilai kewirausahaan. Konsep ini diterapkan dalam rangka melihat latar belakang perbedaan budaya, yang harus dipandang sebagai satu kesatuan. Nilai-nilai kewirausahaan yang dapat ditransfer adalah jiwa disiplin, komitmen yang tinggi, jujur, kreatif dan inovatif, mandiri, serta realistis. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan penjelasan deskriptif, artikel ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana mengi ntegrasikan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan di sekolah dengan konsep pendidikan berbasis multikultur al di Indonesia. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa bentuk pengintegrasian niai-nilai kewirausahaan selanjutnya dengan memberikan kebebasan pada seseorang untuk aktualisasi diri, yang pada akhirnya akan tercipta ide serta gagasan yang kreatif dan inovatif yang berdasarkan pada pilar kesuksesan berwirausaha, yaitu PAKSA, singkatan daripada “Pray, Attitude, Knowledge, Skill, and Actions” atau Berdoa, Sikap, Wawasan, Keterampilan, dan Tindakan. P engintegrasin nilai-nilai kewirausahaan dalam menghadapi tantangan-tantangan eksternal akan berkembang semakin pesat , y aitu dengan pe nggunaan T I (Teknologi Informasi), yang berdampak pada pembelajaran di sekolah. ABSTRAC T : “ Integrating the Values of Multicultural-Based Entrepreneurship”. The values of entrepreneurship in the world of education cannot be separated away because, basically, a person has different properties in each choice. The choice of being an entrepreneur is a fundamental choice for everyone. I ntegration of entrepreneurial values, in the concept of multicultural education, can be done by forming the characters. The concept of a pleasant education and mutual respect for differences will provide convenience in providing an understanding of the values of entrepreneurship. This concept is applied in order to see the background of cultural differences, that must be confronted as a whole. Entrepreneurial values that can be transferred, such as discipline soul, high commitment, honest, creative and innovative, independent, and realistic. Using qualitative methods and descriptive explanations, this article examines how to integrate entrepreneurship values in schools with the concept of multicultural education in Indonesia. Kampong Ayer telah menjadi pusat pemerintahan dan pentadbiran. Sultan-sultan Brunei yang terdahulu sering berpindah-pindah tempat kediaman, dan akhirnya memilih Kampong Ayer sebagai pusat pemerintahan dan pentadbiran sebelum tahun 1906. Bermula pada zaman Brunei berkerajaan sendiri, penduduk Kampong Ayer boleh membuat pilihan, sama ada mahu berpindah dari air ke darat atau terus menetap di Kampong Ayer. Artikel ini, dengan mengguna-pakai kaedah kualitatif dan penjelasan deskriptif, mahukan mengkaji pihak kerajaan Brunei Darussalam menyediakan satu skim rancangan perpindahan, yang dikenali sebagai Skim Rancangan Perpindahan Penduduk Kampong Ayer ke Darat dan kemudiannya dikenali sebagai Rancangan Perumahan Negara. Pihak kerajaan Brunei Darussalam juga telah menyediakan satu kawasan petempatan untuk mengekalkan keadaan petempatan Kampong Ayer, seperti yang dirancangkan dengan membina perkampungan yang baru dan tersusun, iaitu di Kampung Bolkiah A dan Kampong Bolkiah B. Dengan adanya penyediaan dan perancangan pihak kerajaan bagi petempatan baru di Kampong Ayer yang lebih baik dan teratur, ianya dapat menarik minat penduduk Kampong Ayer untuk terus tinggal kampung-kampung yang baru tersebut. Jelasnya, berbagai kemudahan dan projek dibangunkan bagi menaik taraf Kampong Ayer dan penduduknya oleh KDYMM (Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia) Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Dipertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam adalah supaya Kampong Ayer dapat  dikekalkan sebagai warisan bangsa Brunei dan menjadi destinasi pelancongan juga. Kampong Ayer s ettlement in Brunei Darussalam has been in existence since the early settlement of the Brunei Sultanate tradition. Kampong Ayer has become the center of government and administration. The former Sultans of Brunei often moved to residence, and finally chose Kampong Ayer as the center of government and administration before 1906. Beginning in the reign of Brunei itself, the inhabitants of Kampong Ayer could make a choice, whether to move from water to land or continue to settle in Kampong Ayer. This article, by using qualitative methods and descriptive explanations, wanted to study the government of Brunei Darussalam to provide a displacement scheme, known as the Kampong Ayer Population Transfer Plan to the Land and later known as the National Housing Plan. The indication of nation's character crisis is shown by the values shift, attitudes, and Indonesian behaviors. The cause factors can be traced historically. This study, by using the qualitative approaches and historical methods, tries to examine the nation’s character education of Indonesia. The findings show that since the beginning of independence in 1945, the nation's character education has been proclaimed by the founders of the nation. The nation's character education policy in the subsequent period gives effects to the nation's character education model in the schools. In the Old Order era (1950-1966), especially in the Guided Democracy era (1959-1966), tend to be indoctrinated, include seven basic materials of indoctrination, such as: Pancasila, Political Manifesto, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesia Socialism, Guided Democracy, Guided Economic, and Indonesia Cultures. Similarly, during the New Order era (1966-1998) tend to be indoctrinated too through Guidelines for Instilling and Implementing the Pancasila, Pancasila Moral Education, and History Education of the National Struggle. In the longer term, indoctrination will give bad effects to the citizens. Based on historical reflection in earlier times, in the Reform era (1998 to date), the nation's character education in the schools was integrated into every subject of study. Teachers and schools have the opportunity to develop a character education models in line with democratization, in order not to get caught up in indoctrination. KEY WORD: Historical Reflections; Nation’s Character; Education Model; Indonesian Governments’ Policy. RESUME : “Refleksi Sejarah tentang Model Pendidikan Karakter Bangsa di Indonesia”. Bangsa Indonesia dihadapkan pada krisis karakter bangsa. Indikasi krisis karakter bangsa ditunjukkan oleh pergeseran nilai, sikap, dan perilaku bangsa Indonesia. Faktor penyebabnya dapat ditelusuri secara historis. Studi ini, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode historis, mencoba mengkaji pendidikan karakter bangsa Indonesia. Temuan menunjukan bahwa sejak awal kemerdekaan pada tahun 1945, pendidikan karakter bangsa telah diproklamirkan oleh para pendiri bangsa. Kebijakan pendidikan karakter bangsa pada periode berikutnya memberikan efek pada model pendidikan karakter bangsa di sekolah-sekolah. Pada era Orde Lama (1950-1966), terutama pada era Demokrasi Terpimpin (1959-1966), cenderung diindoktrinasi, termasuk tujuh bahan dasar indoktrinasi, seperti: Pancasila, Manifesto Politik, Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945, Sosialisme Indonesia, Demokrasi Terpimpin, Ekonomi Terpimpin, dan Budaya Indonesia. Tujuan umum penelitian adalah untuk menyusun dan mengembangkan model pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai kearifan lokal dan “civic virtue” di lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan dengan desain penelitian dan pengembangan. Pengumpulan data dengan metode simak, observasi, wawancara, dan angket d engan t eknik Delphi . Hasil dan luaran penelitian, secara keseluruhan, berupa rekayasa sosial konstruksi model pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai kearifan lokal dan “civic virtue” sangat strategis dan bersekala nasional. Hasil kajian juga menunjukan bahwa draft rekayasa sosial model pendidikan karakter bangsa berbasis kearifan lokal dan “civic virtue” yang pernah berlaku di masing-masing P erguruan T inggi sangat beragam, tergantung pada kebijakan dan nomenklatur masing-masing P erguruan T inggi. Namun demikian , sebagai sintesis dan kolaborasi dari draft rekayasa sosial model pendidikan karakter bangsa dikembangkan dalam sebuah alur I nput – Proses – Output. Beberapa model pendidikan karakter yang dikembangkan oleh Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia merupakan “best practice” pendidikan karakter hasil rekayasa sosial dan sinergi integratif dari seluruh komponen yang ada dan melibatkan banyak pihak dalam pelaksanaannya. This condition is a challenge for leaders to manage the organization in a professional manner. On the other hand, professionalism reap cynicism that the professional standing as defendants, because they are more concerned with status and wealth, even beguiling and instead of helping their clients. The purpose of t h e article is to provide an overview of professional leadership. Therefore, the author d id a literature study in depth, especially related to critical thinking and professionalism on the leader. This article, by using the qualitative approach and theoritical review method, tries to examine pertaining the l eadership c hallenges by identifying what is the p rofessions and professional; p rofessional l eaders ; and c ritical t hinking . The result study shows that l eadership becomes a vital necessity for a manager to ensure the achievement of organizational goals. Therefore, a leader needs to have a professional attitude and critical thinking skills. The attitude of the professional leader seems in managing the complicatedity of the problem. While critical thinking skills to be one of the must-have in an effort to take a decision on the complicatedity of the problem. Critical thinking is considered to response to the challenges of a leader in the act, a choice between interest groups , and the attitude of professionalism. Professional attitude and critical thinking skills are leadership challenges of the 21 st century to resolve the complicatedity of the problem. Di sisi lain, profesionalisme menuai sinisme bahwa profesional berdiri sebagai terdakwa, karena mereka lebih peduli dengan status dan kekayaan, bahkan memperdaya dan bukannya membantu klien mereka. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tentang kepemimpinan profesional. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan studi pustaka secara mendalam, terutama berkaitan dengan pemikiran kritis dan profesionalisme pada pemimpin. Kemudian, Kurikulum 2013 diharapkan dapat mengembangkan pengalaman belajar yang memberikan banyak kesempatan bagi siswa untuk menguasai kompetensi yang dibutuhkan demi kehidupan saat ini dan masa depan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa benar-benar terjadi kesenjangan antara materi IPS yang akan diajarkan oleh guru dengan realitas masalah sosial di masyarakat, khususnya di Jakarta, telah berkembang menjadi memprihatinkan. Kemudian, untuk mengatasi kesenjangan tersebut, pendekatan pembelajaran IPS dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan model yang berurutan dan terhubung. Model berurutan menyiratkan sebagai aplikasi pembelajaran untuk menyortir materi dalam kategori mempersiapkan serangkaian topik, bab, dan unit dengan menentukan prioritas mata pelajaran yang ada sebagai model pengembangan pembelajaran. Sementara itu, model terhubung menyiratkan sebagai konsep untuk menghubungkan antar-topik dan konsep IPS di sekolah. Pembelajaran IPS terpadu dari model yang diurutkan memerlukan pendekatan disiplin Ilmu-ilmu Sosial yang berbeda. Dalam konteks ini, penekanan disiplin ilmu Geografi dan Sejarah dalam pengajaran IPS, misalnya, pada topik dan konsep yang serupa muncul dengan kuat, tetapi saling melengkapi dan saling mengisi, sehingga dapat memberikan pengetahuan yang berarti kepada siswa melalui proses berpikir kritis yang dilakukan oleh mereka. ABSTRACT : “Learning Reinforcement of Social Studies Based on the 2013 Curriculum”. The presence of the 2013 Curriculum, amid the maturing process of education in Indonesia, is in line with the existence of Social Studies. Then, the 2013 Curriculum  is expected to develop learning experiences that provide ample opportunities for students to master the competencies required for the life of the present and the future. By using the qualitative approaches, this study shows that there is absolutely a gap between the content of Social Studies to be taught by the teachers with the reality of social problems in society, particularly in Jakarta, has grown to an apprehensive level. Then, to solve that discrepancy, the Social Studies learning approaches can be performed using sequenced and connected models. Sequenced model implies as the application of learning to sort the material in the category of preparing a series of topics, chapters, and units with determining priorities of existing subjects as the development model of learning. Meanwhile, connected model implies as a concept to connect with inter-topics and concepts of the Social Studies in the school. Integrated Social Studies learning of sequenced model requires a disciplined approach of the Social Sciences that is different. Tujuan studi ini yaitu untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menimbulkan terjadinya banjir di daerah Bandung dan menganalisis langkah-langkah pembelajaran tentang  proses terjadinya banjir, sebagai akibat dari kerusakan lingkungan. Studi ini menggunakan metode des ain pre -eksperimen, dengan populasi  dan sampel adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dengan melakukan tahap persiapan, interpretasi citra “landsat”, survey lapangan, dan pembuatan laporan. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah agar peserta didik dapat mengetahui, memahami, dan terampil dalam mengungkapkan bukti di lapangan tentang bagaimana terjadinya banjir dan faktor-faktor penyebabnya; selain itu juga bagaimana langkah-langkah dalam proses pembelajarannya. P ada proses pembelajaran tersebut, pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan peserta didik terlibat secara emosional. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran dengan melibatkan ranah emosional peserta didik dapat mengembangkan kemampuann daya nalar secara logis. Model yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran tentang bencana banjir , yaitu studi “o utdoor ” . S tudi ini dilakukan agar peserta didik tidak bersifat abstrak dalam penjelasannya. Dengan membawa peserta didik ke lapangan diharapkan ranah emosi peserta didik akan tergerak dan memahami fenomena bencana banjir yang terjadi dan upaya yang perlu dilakukan untuk mencegah dan mengatasinya. Studi “o utdoor ”, dengan demikian, merupakan model pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk mengembangkan ranah emosi dan nalar peserta didik. Learning process about the subject of Impact to Environmental Damage, one of all impact such as flooding, needs to be introduced to the students . The purpose of this study is to know the factors that cause floods in the area of Bandung and analyze the steps of learning on the process of flooding, due to environmental damage. This study uses p re - experimental design methods, with populations and samples are students of Geography Education. Analytical techniques used by analyzing preparation stage, landsat image interpretation, field survey, and making the report. Results are expected in order students can know, understand, and be skilled in disclosing evidence in the field about how the occurrence of floods and causal factors; besides that how are the steps in its learning process . In addition to the semantics and pragmatics of proverbs, the lateral words and phrases used are equally important and interesting for students living in a modern era and culture. Pupils , as early as the third grade in elementary school , can be introduced to proverbs with this method. So, t his paper focuses on environmental education using Malay proverbs in schools. The local wisdom of proverbs reflects views from earlier times, defining the culture , and its values. I try to explore how traditional Malay people coexisted with nature. Using observations of their surroundings, they crafted proverbs using beautiful phrases and conveyed wise messages. The educators can use this wisdom in teaching about the relationship between plants, animals , and natural objects ; and how to mitigate or prevent natural calamities. The paper describes proverbs with an environmental theme and introduces the concept of environmental awareness education integrated with teachings from the Malay language. Due to the time depth and language dynamic, the words or phrases used in proverbs might change over time , which pose s challenge to learners. It is important for teachers to apply an integrated learning approach in the teaching of proverbs. Besides the meaning of the proverbs, students should first understand the words or the phrases that built the proverbs and appreciate our forefathers’ ingenuity , especially its relations with the environment . Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk memberi pendidik dengan perspektif yang berbeza mengenai pengajaran dan nilai peribahasa. Sebagai tambahan kepada semantik dan pragmatik peribahasa, perkataan dan frasa yang digunakan adalah sama penting dan menarik untuk pelajar yang tinggal di era dan budaya moden. Murid, seawal darjah  ketiga di sekolah rendah, boleh diperkenalkan kepada peribahasa dengan kaedah ini. Oleh itu, makalah ini memberi tumpuan kepada pendidikan alam sekitar dengan menggunakan peribahasa Melayu di sekolah. Kebijaksanaan tempatan peribahasa mencerminkan pandangan dari zaman dahulu, menentukan budaya, dan nilai-nilainya. Saya cuba untuk meneroka bagaimana orang-orang Melayu tradisional bersubahat dengan alam semula jadi. Some of these are related to personological, sociological, and psychological factors. In recent years, academic achievement and performance have been linked to several psychological factors. Two of these psychological factors , that may have direct impact or influence to academic performance , are curiosity and epistemological beliefs. In this study , the organization and legibility of the subjects’ writing before and after the use of Brain Gym activities were described. The pre-experimental design , specifically the One Group Pre-test – Post-test , was utilized to examine the g rade 1 pupils’ writing performance in the areas of length of output. The respondents were composed of 4 pupils , who have a variety of writing concerns, ranging from getting started, organization, attention to details, and producing sufficient output or length of writing. It was concluded that Brain Gym, a movement-based learning exercise, was an effective activity for enhancing g rade 1 pupils’ writing concerns, specifically in terms of neatness, legibility, writing on and following blue-red-blue lines as well as correct spacing between letters and words. Pupils under the Brain Gym conditions tended to write more words. Brain Gym exercises brought excitement, cheerfulness , and relaxed mood among pupils. It is recommended that t ime be allotted for the use of Brain Gym exercises , due to it can be utilized as unfreezing activity for enhancement of writing performance among pupils. RESUME : “ Efektivitas Kegiatan Senam Otak dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Menulis Siswa Kelas I”. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi akademik siswa. Beberapa di antaranya berkaitan dengan faktor personologis, sosiologis, dan psikologis. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, prestasi dan kinerja akademik telah dikaitkan dengan beberapa faktor psikologis. Dua faktor psikologis ini, yang mungkin berdampak langsung atau berpengaruh pada kinerja akademis, adalah keingintahuan dan kepercayaan epistemologis. Dalam penelitian ini, organisasi dan keterbacaan tulisan subjek sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan kegiatan Senam Otak dijelaskan. Desain pra-eksperimental, khususnya Pre-test – Post-tes Satu Grup, digunakan untuk menguji kinerja tulis murid kelas 1 di bidang panjang dan luaran.
