This article – using the qualitative and descriptive approaches as well as literature review methods – tries to elaborate that i n its implementation, curriculum management must be developed according to SBM (School-Based Management) context and 2013 Curriculum in Indonesia. Therefore, autonomy granted to educational institution or school in managing curriculum independently by prioritizing needs and target achievement in vision and mission of educational institution and school are not neglect the established of national policy. Meanwhile, the 21 st century learning in Indonesia reflects many things, one of them, namely: the ability to critical think (critical thinking skill); teacher asks students to conclude; make reflection together the questions at HOTS ( Higher Order Thinking Skills ) level; and the open answer as the form to accommodate students’ critical thinking. Creativity is needed, in which teacher needs to open space for students to develop their creativity and to develop appreciation culture to no matter how small the role or students’ achievement. Communication should be carried out across national borders by using increasingly sophisticated technological devices, so that very helpful for humans in communicating. Lastly, collaboration is needed, in which group learning and cooperatives train students to collaborate will create togetherness, a sense of belonging, responsibility, and social care. KEY WORD: Curriculum Management; 21 st Century Learning; Higher Order Thinking Skills; Education in Indonesia. RESUME : “ Manajemen Kurikulum dalam Pembelajaran Abad ke- 21 ”. Manajemen kurikulum adalah sistem manajemen kurikulum yang bersifat kooperatif, komprehensif, sistemik, dan sistematis untuk mencapai tujuan kurikulum. Artikel ini – menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan deskriptif serta metode tinjauan literatur – mencoba menguraikan bahwa dalam implementasinya, manajemen kurikulum harus dikembangkan sesuai dengan konteks MBS (Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah) dan Kurikulum 2013 di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, otonomi yang diberikan kepada lembaga pendidikan atau sekolah dalam mengelola kurikulum secara mandiri dengan memprioritaskan kebutuhan dan pencapaian target dalam visi dan misi lembaga pendidikan dan sekolah tidak mengabaikan penetapan kebijakan nasional. Namun demikian, baru sebagian populasi yang tergolong sudah menjadi andalan dan sisanya relatif masih sulit untuk berkembang. Hal itu menjadi gambaran bahwa kinerja bisnis industri Butik Muslim di Jawa Barat belum dapat dikatakan optimal, jika dibandingkan dengan meningkatnya minat masyarakat terhadap busana Muslim yang juga dikenal dengan “hijab fashion”. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana k ondisi kinerja bisnis industri Butik Muslim di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan riset kuantitatif . Unit analisis adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri B utik M uslim di Jawa Barat ; dan unit pengamatan adalah pemilik atau pihak manajemen dari perusahaan tersebut. Pengamatan dilakukan pada “ time horizon ” yang bersifat “ cross section ”, yakni pada tahun 2019 ; dan p enelitian ini mengambil sampel sebanyak 2 00 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi berwirausaha dan kecakapan organi sasional memberi pengaruh signifikan pada kinerja bisnis industri B utik M uslim di Jawa Barat. Kecakapan organi sasional memiliki pengaruh lebih besar dibandingkan kompetensi berwirausaha dalam meningkatkan kinerja bisnis. Hal ini berimplikasi pada kebutuhan pembinaan oleh pemerintah, yaiu Dinas Perindustrian Propinsi Jawa Barat, agar terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis perusahaan-perusahaan itu, sehingga dalam jangka waktu yang tidak terlalu lama industri fasyen Muslim memberi kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan ekonomi, khususnya di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Centers for fashion creative industries, including those of Muslim boutique in West Java Province, exist in several cities. Somehow, among them are those which are in good condition and the others are in the opposite condition. This reflects the performance of Muslim fashion bouquet business in the West Java Province is still not optimal comparing with the increase of interest in Muslim dress or “hijab”. This study addresses the problem dealing with the performance of Muslim boutique industry business in West Java, Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative research approach. The analysis units are companies which run Muslim boutique business industry in West Java; and its observation units are the owners or the managers of the companies. The observation was conducted through a cross sectional way in 2019, involving 200 sample units. Pada tahun 2016, Kemendikbud RI (Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia), bekerja sama dengan PT Jaya Ritel Indonesia, menyelenggarakan “BBW Book Sale” Jakarta 2016. Lebih mengutamakan penerapan Visi dan Misinya, yaitu “Membaca Mencerdaskan Bangsa”, “BBW Book Sale” kembali hadir di Jakarta pada tahun 2019, dengan program kampanye, yaitu “Red Readerhood” yang mempunyai tujuan untuk mendorong masyarakat menyumbangkan buku; dengan demikian, hal tersebut dapat mendorong meningkatkan minat baca anak-anak dan masyarakat Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan dan metode deskriptif-kualitatif, serta serangkaian observasi dan wawancara dengan berbagai narasumber, studi ini menunjukkan bahwa “ BBW Book Sale” Jakarta 2019 – berdasarkan langkah-langkah perencanaan strategis dari Ronald D. Smith (2008) – berhasil melakukan 3 kegiatan utama, yaitu: “pre-event”, “event”, dan “post-event”. Tahapan “pre-event” ditandai dengan kunjungan ke Sekolah-sekolah Dasar di wilayah JABOBETABEK (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi), dengan melibatkan “story-tellers”. Alasan itu, terutama berkenaan dengan Al-Masih dan Al-Mahdi, W ahyu , serta K enabian. Selain itu, juga LPPI (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengkajian Islam) di Jakarta telah menyampaikan ketidakpuasan tentang JAI kepada Ketua MA RI (Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia), pada 10 Juni 1994. Keberatan itu, terutama bahwa Ahmadiyah mempunyai “Nabi” dan “Rasul” sendiri; kitab suci sendiri; tanggal, bulan, dan tahun sendiri; tempat untuk Haji sendiri; serta Khalifah sendiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu : heuristik, kritik, interpretasi , dan historiografi . Selain itu, penulis menggunakan pendekatan bantuan dari ilmu-ilmu sosial yang erat hubungannya dengan ilmu sejarah, terutama ilmu politik, sosiologi, dan antropologi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada tuduhan keliru dari kedua lembaga Islam tersebut, yakni MUI dan LPPI, para anggota JAI tetap pada pendiriannya bahwa Ahmadiyah merupakan faham yang benar, yang sesuai dengan keyakinannya. Para anggota Jemaat Ahmadiyah pun menyadari bahwa selain banyak masyarakat Muslim yang menentang, banyak pula masyarakat Muslim lain yang tidak menentang, atau bahkan mendukung adanya Ahmadiyah di Indonesia . ABSTRACT : “Response of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community to the Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council and Studies from the Islamic and Research Institute”. This study discusses the reasons for the MUI ( Indonesian Ulema Council ) fatwa stating that JAI ( Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community ) is a worshiper outside of a heretical Islam. That reason, especially concerning the Messiah and Al-Mahdi, R evelation , and P rophethood. Besides that, the LPPI ( Islamic and Research Institute ) in Jakarta also expressed dissatisfaction about the Ahmadiyya teaching s to the Chair of the Supreme Court of Indonesia , on June 10, 1994. The objection, especially that Ahmadiyya has its own \" P rophet\" and \" A postle\" ; holy book ; date, month, and year ; the place for the Hajj itself ; and the Caliph himself. The research method used in this study is a historical method consisting of four stages, namely : heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. In addition, the author s use d a help approach from the social sciences that are closely related to history, especially political science, sociology, and anthropology. The conclusion of this study shows that e ven though there were false accusations from the two Islamic institutions, namely MUI and LPPI, the JAI members remained in their position that the Ahmadiyya was a true understanding that was in accordance with their beliefs. They feel very disappointed if their children are not good at academic subjects. On the contrary, children’s bad attitudes do not influence parents to help children improve their moral character. This is one of indicators that they ignore their responsibility to develop moral values in children. This study tries to describe the outcomes of a research on the internalization of character education in SMPIT (Integrated Islamic Junior High School) As-Syifa Boarding School in Subang, West Java, Indonesia. The research method that was used is qualitative descriptive with data collecting technique through observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The findings show that SMPIT As-Syifa Boarding School applies ten qualities of students’ character; the accomplishment of character education is collective responsibility (entire academic community in SMPIT As-Syifa Boarding School, parents, and environment); internalization process of character education is accomplished through four methods, namely: socialization, teaching and learning, habituation, and role model; and the internalization evaluation of character education in SMPIT As-Syifa Boarding School is thoroughly conducted by involving several aspects. Therefore, many aspects were analyzed and many relevant people were involved as well. The aspects evaluated are presence, regular worship, character, material, organization, personality, final achievement, and conclusion. Mayoritas orang tua selalu menyadari hasil tes anak-anak, peringkat, dan skor daripada mendukung mereka untuk membangun karakter dan memiliki perilaku yang baik. Mereka merasa sangat kecewa jika anak-anak mereka tidak pandai dalam mata pelajaran akademik. Sebaliknya, sikap buruk anak-anak tidak mempengaruhi orang tua untuk membantu anak-anak meningkatkan karakter moral mereka. Ini adalah salah satu indikator bahwa mereka mengabaikan tanggung jawab mereka untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai moral pada anak-anak. Dalam penelitian ini , teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa p ermasalahan utama dalam PILKADA (Pemilihan Kepala Daerah) di Kabupaten Yalimo , Papua, Indonesia adalah hasil nya masih jauh seperti yang diharapkan. Hasil akhir yang sesungguhnya diharapkan dari PILKADA adalah melahirkan pemimpin yang ideal. Namun , beberapa permasalahan yang muncul dan menyebabkan masyarakat kurang berpartisipasi , diantaranya adalah: (1) p ersyaratan PILKADA hanya terbatas pada ketentuan normatif tentang persyaratan calon eksekutif , bukan pada ketentuan persyaratan substantif ; (2) lemahnya sosialisasi dari P anitia KPU kepada mayarakat terkait ketentuan pemberian suara oleh masyarakat ; (3) p enyelenggara tidak memiliki pengalaman dalam kaitan dengan pekerjaan yang dihadapinya ; (4) ketidakpercayaan terhadap calon Bupati/Wakil Bupati, baik ketidakpercayaan terhadap janji-janji kampanye maupun tidak tert a rik dengan visi dan misi yang ditawarkan , sampai adanya ketidakyakinan masyarakat apakah ketika ia memilih akan memberikan pengaruh atau perubahan bagi masyarakat ; (5) KPU tampaknya tidak peduli , baik dengan kapasitas maupun profesionalisme cal on Bupati/Wakil Bupati pada saat melakukan perekrutan , dan yang biasanya dipikirkan adalah besarnya peluang keterpilihan ca lon Bupati/Wakil Bupati yang bersangkutan ; serta (6) tingginya modus transaksi atau pemberian hadiah dari calon kepada pemilih. This research is conducted as a consideration and input to the Local Government, especially KPU (General Election Commission). In this research, data analysis technique is done descriptively by using qualitative method. The results show that the main problem in PILKADA ( Regional Head Elections ) in Yalimo Regency, Papua, Indonesia is its result still far as expected. The real end result expected from PILKADA is to produce an ideal leader. The relation is seen from three social domains , such as “bersurau kaum dan bemasjid nagari” (must have little mosque at the community ethnic level and have mosque at district or regency level); “bermamak ibadat dan bermamak adat” (must have Islamic worship leader and custom or tradition’s leader); and “bermufti nagari dan bernagari” (must obey to the Islamic law adviser in the community and must have district or regency) . This article, based on the qualitative study, tries to elaborate the position and roles of sufi order, custom, and local wisdoms in p reventing the Islamic radicalism in West Sumatera. The findings show that the traditional institutions, such as little mosque and mosques in the village and regency level; Islamic worship and custom leaders; sufi order of Syattariyah , and Islamic law adviser in the regency level have the critical roles in preventing the Islamic radicalism. The radical organizations, such as the LDII (Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia or Indonesia Institute of Islamic Preaching ) and “ Salafi ” (renewel of Islamic thought and movement) cannot growth develop well in Nagari Sungai Buluah , Padang Pariaman, West Sumatera . RESUME : “Mencegah Radikalisme Agama Berdasarkan Kearifan Lokal: Interelasi Tarekat, Adat, dan Otoritas Lokal di Padang Pariaman, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia”. Relasi terintegrasi antara tarekat Syattariyah, adat Minangkabau, dan pemerintahan lokal di N agari Sungai Buluah , K ecamatan Batang Anai , Kabupaten Padang Pariaman , Sumatera Barat telah menjadi kearifan lokal yang berperan sebagai modal sosial bagi pencegahan radikalisme agama di sebuah nagari. Relasi tersebut terlihat dari tiga domain sosial, seperti “bersurau kaum dan bemasjid nagari”; “ bermamak ibadat dan bermamak adat”; serta “bermufti nagari dan bernagari” . Artikel ini, berdasarkan studi kualitatif, berusaha untuk mengelaborasi kedudukan dan peranan tarekat, adat, dan kearifan lokal dalam mencegah faham Islam radikal di Sumatera Barat. Tantangan konselor di era globalisasi saat ini adalah memberikan layanan kepada generasi milenial , yang jumlahnya cukup besar dan semua serba menggunakan TIK (T eknologi I nformasi dan K omunikasi). Permasalahan yang akan dikaji dalam penulisan ini , dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan penjelasan yang deskriptif, difokuskan pada peran konselor di era globalisasi. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa p erkembangan T IK yang semakin pesat dapat digunakan untuk menunjang aktivitas layanan yang dilakukan oleh konselor terhadap siswa-siswi di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, konselor harus mengenali karakteristik generasi milenial, yaitu: “ technology reliant ” atau percaya teknologi ; “ image driven ” atau jaga image ; “ multitasking ” atau serba bisa ; “ open to change ” atau terbuka pada perubahan ; “ confident ” atau percaya diri ; “ team-oriented ” atau berorientasi tim ; “ rich of information ” atau kaya akan informasi ; “ impatient ” atau tidak sabaran ; serta “ adaptable ” atau mudah beradaptasi. Saat ini, layanan konseling dapat ditawarkan dengan menggunakan “ cyber counseling ” , yakni menggunakan media sosial , seperti : e - m ail, w hats a pp, dan v ideocall kepada konseli tanpa harus bertatap muka atau “ face to face ” dengan para siswa . Jika konselor dan konseli sudah paham akan manfaat dan pentingnya TIK dalam menunjang proses layanan bimbingan dan konseling, maka ke depannya pelaksanaan “ cyber counseling ” akan lebih memudahkan siswa-siswi dalam mengembangkan karakternya. Oleh karena itu, konselor diharapkan memiliki berbagai wawasan, pengetahuan, nilai , dan sikap yang dapat dijadikan referensi tepat dalam penanganan konseli dengan menggunakan TIK di sekolah . The purpose of this paper is to describe the cyber counseling in millenial generation era. The challenge of counselors in the current era of globalization is to provide services to millennial generation, which is large enough and all in all use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). The issues to be studied in this paper, by using qualitative methods and descriptive explanations, focused on the role of counselors in the era of globalization. The results of the study show that the rapid development of ICT can be used to support the activities of services conducted by counselors to students in the school. Therefore, the counselor must recognize millenial generation characteristics, namely: technology reliant; image driven; multitasking; open to change; confident; team-oriented; rich of information; impatient; as well as adaptable. The increasing demands for educational change relevant to the needs of the community have changed the “madrasah” (modern Islamic school), both at the level of concepts, processes, functions, objectives, management of educational institutions, and educational management resources. The quality of education programs and services is an important factor in maintaining the sustainability of “madrasah” and increasing satisfaction for students. The quality of teaching, for example, is an important factor in improving student excellence and is influenced by teachers' competence and professionalism. This research is aimed to investigate students' satisfaction on learning system and teacher in an international standard “madrasah” and its relation with student learning results. This study used a survey method and involved 135 students as participants. A set of questionnaires consisting of 15 questions was used to collect the data. Using the IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) and Gap Analysis methods to analyze the data, the results showed that students had a positive response on learning and the quality of their teacher. In addition, there is a significant relationship between learning outcomes and student scores on teacher' teaching abilities. The results of this study are expected to be an input for the improvement of education programs and services in international “madrasah”. RESUME: “Kepuasan Siswa tentang Pembelajaran dan Kualitas Guru: Studi Kasus di Madrasah Berstandar Internasional”. Studi yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan pendidikan Islam telah menjadi fokus perhatian publik dalam beberapa dekade terakhir. Meningkatnya tuntutan untuk perubahan pendidikan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat telah mengubah madrasah, baik pada tingkat konsep, proses, fungsi, tujuan, manajemen lembaga pendidikan, maupun sumber daya manajemen pendidikan. Kualitas program dan pelayanan pendidikan menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga keberlangsungan madrasah dan meningkatkan kepuasan bagi siswa. Kualitas pengajaran, contohnya, menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan keunggulan siswa dan dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi dan profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada penilaian kepuasan siswa terhadap pembelajaran dan guru madrasah bertaraf internasional, serta hubungannya dengan hasil belajar siswa.
