This is a work of an exploratory and qualitative nature, which mainly collected the information through primary sources. That is, through the testimonies of filmmakers and producers from different parts of Bolivia. The fundamental tool for data collection was the semi-structured interview, probably the most widely used methodology in qualitative research. It is concluded that, from the perspective of the filmmakers, the effects of the pandemic on Bolivian audiovisuals were aggravated by the political crisis and by poor management of the transitional government. On the other hand, the transformation processes of the modes of production, distribution and marketing, accelerated by the pandemic, must be assumed, rethought and assimilated from the Bolivian context, as for example, the use of VOD platforms. It questions the Canadian census ́ official position regarding the “considerable” central re-densification movement in downtown Montreal. A methodology supported by opinion surveys presents as objective the design of a regression model conceived through a SPSS process that discloses the interrelation that a “free-will-to-stay” in that downtown (Sainte-Marie neighbourhood), keeps to a set of the most representative variables of residential improvement in housing/services from the needs/impedances (difficulties to achieve it) perspective. The idea here is to estimate the central attraction power, within the limitations of a pilot-project. The “monthly-income”, ‘ownership”, “impedance-toresidential-improvement”, “need-for-health-services-improvement”, “impedance-to-health-services-improvement”, and “impedance-to-transportation-improvement” independent variables were the most explanatories of the “free-will-tostay” dependent variable’s behaviour. Leaning on the model of Crepon, Duguet, and Mairesse (CDM) developed in 1998 and the first innovation survey carried out in Bolivia to private companies, it is possible to establish that there is a positive relationship between the presence of qualified human resources, the results of innovation and labor productivity of the companies studied. In relation to the characteristics of human resources, the results reveal that the presence of qualified human resources in a company has a positive impact on the results of innovation and on labor productivity. Otherwise, it is established that the presence of unskilled human resources causes an inverse effect on labor productivity. Regarding to the characteristics of the companies, it is possible to establish that the presence of foreign capital and the exports positively affect investments in innovation. De un modelo biologicista cercano a la prohibicion, se dio paso a uno multifactorial en el que intervenian especialistas de distintas disciplinas, no solo medicas. La transformacion comenzo a partir de 1950 cuando la Organizacion Mundial de la Salud (OMS) impulso el concepto de alcoholismo como enfermedad, el cual fue discutido en circulos academicos e instituciones de salud mexicanas y latinoamericanas hasta la decada de 1980, aun despues de que la OMS retirara el planteamiento. Hallazgos para destacar en este proceso son, primero, la relevancia de los estudios epidemiologicos sobre alcoholismo para entender las adicciones y, posteriormente, la salud mental en general. Segundo, la incorporacion de especialistas de las ciencias sociales (psicologas, trabajadoras sociales y sociologos) a las instituciones de atencion e investigacion en salud mental. Para Mexico, los datos del Consejo Nacional de Evaluacion de la Politica de Desarrollo Social (Coneval) indican en 2014, que el 23% de los mexicanos padecian carencia por acceso a la alimentacion. En este articulo se presenta un diagnostico sobre la carencia en el consumo de alimentos en los hogares mexicanos. El trabajo tiene como objetivo examinar la magnitud e intensidad del hambre en los hogares mexicanos entre 2008 y 2014, vista a traves del deficit en el consumo de energia necesario para desarrollar las tareas fisicas e intelectuales cotidianas en el contexto de la crisis del precio de los alimentos. La aproximacion metodologica es cuantitativa por lo que se utilizaron los microdatos de la Encuesta Nacional de Ingresos y Gastos de los Hogares (ENIGH) de 2008 y 2014, a partir de los que se elaboro un indicador que clasifica la condicion alimentaria de los hogares, haciendo un especial enfasis en aquellos que tuvieron un consumo por debajo de lo recomendado. Se examina la potencial contribucion de las perspectivas reticulares para delimitar una estructura social y describir su evolucion. Para ello se abordan conceptos de Luhmann (y sus intercambios con la teoria de los sistemas de accion social de Parsons) desde la perspectiva sistemica, y de la teoria de estructuracion social de Giddens. No se incluye el abordaje de la estructura social desde la teoria marxista en este ensayo, dado que ello implicaria una revision teorica exhaustiva que excede su objetivo. Se exponen algunas ventajas de la nocion de “redes sociales” para el estudio de la estructura social en forma complementaria al uso de las tecnicas atributivas clasicas de la sociologia empirica moderna. Para este desafio se proponen indicadores, metricas, modelos de redes aleatorias y topologias ARS. Se considera que el abordaje empirico y el teorico permiten un corpus integrado para la conceptualizacion y la investigacion de la estructura social. La aplicacion del network thinking para examinar la estructura social resulta en cierta forma original, pues es un enfoque que se ha utilizado mas frecuentemente para analizar la dinamica de ciertos agentes o grupos dentro de la sociedad.
