Sribniak","doi":"10.28925/2312-5829.2022.341","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.28925/2312-5829.2022.341","url":null,"abstract":"The article reveals the specifics of the activities of the Borys Grinchenko «Prosvita» Society,which led to the establishment of the People's School with the same name in the Salzwedel camp (Germany). The initial phase of its activity was marked by significant difficulties due to the reluctance of some captives to visit it due to fear of reprisals from the Russian tsarism (after their returning home). But in consequence to the explanatory work of the members of the Educational Department Union for the Liberation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian most active members in the camp, this fear was overcome, after which the number of students began to increase steadily. \u0000\u0000During 1916-1917, hundreds of Ukrainian captives graduated from the Borys Grinchenko People's School, who received not only basic knowledge (writing, reading, arithmetic) within its walls, but also gained the understanding of many phenomena of political and social life and, in addition, mastered the basics of agronomic and exact sciences. The school initiated profound changes in their consciousness, making school graduates an integral part of the Ukrainian world, the political component of which was mercilessly persecuted in Russia, and therefore forced to choose their «place under the sun» on German soil. \u0000\u0000The Borys Grinchenko People's School became one of the most powerful system-forming national factors in the camp, which created the Ukrainian environment through its very work. Within its walls - sometimes even against their will – the prisoners began to realize the injustice of the socio-political order in tsarist Russia and to understand the ultimate need to separate Ukraine from the imperial centre with its subsequent acquisition of the sovereign status. The tasks were performed in oral / written form by foreign students of the medical faculty. It is stressed that this type of activity is quite an effective didactic tool used for language training of foreign medical students to develop their ability to ask different types of questions (open, closed, clarifying), which promotes dialogic communication between medical specialists and patients / colleagues. The exercises are supplemented with instructions, tables / examples / theoretical material. It is found out that foreign medical students’ ability to ask questions is grounded on available thorough knowledge at the level of professional communication, in particular medical terminology, theoretical knowledge about various types of questions, acquired communicative and speech experience during practical training in health care institutions, as well as the following skills: 1) combine language units in a correct way; 2) determine the purpose of the inquiry in accordance with the content of the communication / professional and communicative situation; 3) predict / guide the possible answers of the patient / his relatives / specialists in the medical field, which clarify / expand the available knowledge in accordance with the inquiry. It is worth mentioning that medical terms (types of diseases, symptoms, complaints, nature of pain, medicines, organs and parts of the human body) in interrogative sentences mark simulated professional and communicative situations, determine the semantic and conceptual unity of the statements of medical professionals and their patients / colleagues. The proposed educational and methodological support (conditional communicative, situationally conditioned communicative exercises) contributes to the expanding foreign medical students’ vocabulary with active and passive terminological vocabulary, as well as to the conscious usage of professional vocabulary in «question – answer» structures during simulated dialogic practice according to various models (a doctor ⟷ a patient, a doctor ⟷ a colleague). Total innovativeness becomes one of the main features of modern specialist's worldview. Therefore, the central project of the modern education is to educate an \"innovative person\", an individual with a high adaptive and innovative potential, with developed critical and divergent thinking, capable of non-standard solutions and active creative search. At the same time, modernization of education contributes to the emergence of new terminology and requires comprehension of innovative processes in pedagogical theory. Thus, the purpose of the article is to define the essence of the definition \" educational innovation\" in the studies of Ukrainian and foreign scientists, to find common and specific in the reasoning of researchers on this phenomenon. In addition, the article determines the prerequisites of the innovation process in Ukraine and the need to implement educational innovations in world practice. Summarizing the scientific views on the essence of the educational innovation defined that the research area of educational innovation are: the laws and regularities of all aspects of the educational innovation process, mechanisms of change management states of education and the relationship between past acquired teaching experience and the design of future educational innovation processes; reorganization of the educational process in particular and the impact on the development of the educational system as a whole; the process of updating the relationship of subjects of education in innovative cooperation; preparing young people for future professional innovative activities, etc. In addition, the relevance of the definition of \" educational innovation\" and the dynamism of the formation of this definition were established; the procedural nature of the essence, the presence of the personal factor of educational innovation and its value as a necessary component of pedagogical and social development were determined And also the article determines the main tasks of educational innovation as a science. The relevance of this research is related to the fact that in recent years the problem of the impact of success and failures has become more acute and is becoming more and more widespread. The article highlights such concepts as motivation for success, personality formation, motivation, self-actualization, self-development, negative state, adaptation, academic failure, and also reviews how successes and failures affect academic performance. This article presents the results of the survey among participants of various ages, who had the opportunity to describe and analyze their experiences in educational activities and further life, in which they had to answer twelve questions that related to their success, inner experiences and psychological difficulties associated with failures, which they encountered. The respondents shared their impressions and expressed their opinions about the impact of success and failures on the self-actualization of individuals on their life paths. {"title":"APPLICATION EFFICIENCY ASSESSMENT OF FORMS, METHODS, MEANS AND TYPES OF TRAINING IN CHORAL CONDUCTING LESSONS","authors":"Larisa Teriaieva","doi":"10.28925/2312-5829.2020.2.3","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.28925/2312-5829.2020.2.3","url":null,"abstract":"Ukraine's entry into the European and world educational and information space requires the development and implementation of an innovative concept of education that should take into account world and domestic pedagogical and national traditions in the training of future teachers.\u0000At present stage, the formation of methodological competence of future music teachers in choral conducting has its own peculiarities, namely: ensuring interdisciplinary links of choral conducting with other professional disciplines; use of a personal approach; organization of methodological work with students; use of information technologies and computer music programs; development of personal qualities of future music teachers.\u0000Our analysis of the interdisciplinary links of choral conducting with musical disciplines showed that choral conducting has direct links with the main musical instrument, choral class, voice production, harmony, analysis of musical forms and auxiliary links with the orchestral class, additional musical instrument.\u0000The results of the scientific research confirmed that the effective methods in choral conducting are motivational, educational, practical, problem-seeking, interactive, creative and methods of control and self-control; forms of training - individual, group, practical classes, independent work, competitions of conductors, creative music competitions, pedagogical practice; effective types of training are modular, interactive, problematic, distance, programmable, and modern training means - software and methodological support of computer technologies, multimedia tools, didactic materials. The article reveals the problems of development of children's creative talent in out-of-school educational institutions. It has been determined that gifted children (children with special educational problems) are the most vulnerable in society in the modern educational space. They require special attention from teachers, parents, psychologists and doctors in the process of education, training, adaptation, socialization and personality realization in a fast changing world. The uniqueness of the concept of \"creative talent\" of the child is proved. The work of scientists is analyzed, components and indices of child giftedness are studied. Indicators of giftedness are abilities (intellectual, artistic, musical, choreographic, artistic, technical, sports) to a certain type of activity. Creative abilities form the basis of the development of creative talent of the child. Out-of-school educational institutions in Ukraine have long-standing traditions of teaching and upbringing students according to their interests, preferences, and individual abilities. The principles of their activities allow taking into account the individual characteristics of each child. The multifaceted system of interrelated pedagogical techniques and technologies enables a wide range of content, forms and means of teaching students, provides an alternative to meeting the spiritual needs of the child, her interests, cognitive and intellectual opportunities based on the differentiation and individualization of the educational process. The reseаrch is based on the example of the work of the Vinnytsia regional station of young naturalists. Kotsiuba","doi":"10.28925/2312-5829.2022.24","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.28925/2312-5829.2022.24","url":null,"abstract":"The article presents the results of a research of the features of the motivational sphere of of the administrators (principals and their assistants) of Institutions of general secondary education, conducted by the Chair of Educational Leadership of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University in October-November 2021. This was a pilot phase of the study, which covered 208 people holding senior positions in secondary schools in Kyiv. The purpose of the pilot phase was to study the motivational sphere of managers, which involves identifying the most common motives, the ratio of internal and external motivation of respondents, the dynamics of changes in motivational complexes depending on seniority, as well as the interaction of motives with their attitude to innovation in education. Regarding the tasks, the method «Motivation of professional activity» by K. Zamfir in a modification of A. Rean, was chosen. The research showed that the most important motives of professional activity for the leaders of secondary schools are: satisfaction with the process and results of their work; opportunities for self-realization in management; the receiving of adequate monetary remuneration for their work. The key determining factor for the respondents is the internal motivation for the managerial activity. Internal motivation remains dominant throughout the period of activity. Most respondents have a positive attitude towards innovation, combined with a high level of internal motivation. A further perspective of the study may be the creation of an appropriate psycho-correctional program aimed at increasing internal motivation and further improving the reform steps in the field of education. Children have stated an integrated approach to the educational process in the pedagogy. The works of leading scientists, which reveal various aspects of the future teachers training for pedagogical activities, are analyzed in the works of domestic scientists, in which the specificity of education, the state of pre-university vocational training, problems of higher education, various aspects of adult education, in particular integration of pedagogical training, foreign systems of pedagogical technologies of development, reform of European higher education in general. It is concluded that the systems of training teachers of preschool education in the leading European countries are different.
