Then, the Ministry of Health developed social work models in hospitals based on the project “Development of social work as a profession in the health sector for the 2011-2020 period” according to Decision 2514/QD-BYT of the Ministry of Health dated July 15th, 2011. This is a new development in healthcare in Vietnam. To accompany the regular goal of improving the quality of medical services at health facilities of the health sector, social work in hospitals needs some changes for comprehensive development. The development of social work in hospitals, foremost, needs a system of professional social workers, both in quantity and quality, and appropriate policies which facilitate the implementation of social work models. The article described the current situation of social work development policies in general and social work in hospitals in particular, via analysis of policies on organizational structure, training and recruitment of social workers using survey data from two hospitals. From that, the paper identified obstacles in human resource development for social work in hospitals and proposed solutions to improve professional social work models at hospitals \u0000Keywords \u0000Social work, social work in hospitals, social work policy, human resource in social work. \u0000

In order to cope with this pandemic, every country in the world has issued social policies to overcome the adverse effects of the pandemic on different social groups. By using the secondary data analysis and analysis of policy contents, this paper provided an overall picture of social policies in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the world and Vietnam. The results showed a prompt reaction of the government in every country and in Vietnam in enacting policies on employment, health care, housing, insurance and other forms of social protection for different social groups who have been strongly affected by the COVID-19. However, those policies are not systematic and the target groups have not been adequate yet. Moreover, there is a lack of social policies to cope with the COVID-19 in the long run, especially after the lockdown period and in the “new normal situation” period. On that basis, the authors suggested several research topics that will be a helpful base for proposing the next social policies, which will be suitable for the new development stage of the pandemic, as well as for specific situations of each nation and area. \u0000Keywords: \u0000COVID-19 pandemic, social policies to cope with COVID-19, in the world, Vietnam.

Health insurance is a form of community insurance applied in the field of medical examination and treatment and health care for all people. Since its creation, the health insurance system has been perfecting in terms of institution and policy in order to facilitate the implementation of healthcare services for the entire population, including people in need, people of ethnic minorities, people living in remote areas, people with disabilities, the elderly, children under 6, and people with chronic and hard-to-cure diseases... The article reviews a number of health insurance policies in Vietnam since 1992 and argues that Vietnam's health insurance policies have had many changes in the direction of being suitable for people's living conditions. In coming years, the goal of health insurance policies is to increase the coverage of health insurance to the entire population, especially to help those facing difficulties in society to get better health care and protection. On the contrary, in ordinary newspaper articles, “public space” is often mentioned under various terms including “public place”, “public location”, “public buildings”, etc. At the same time, public space falls in the scope of various aspects of interest, particularly urban public spaces. Thus, it is needed that the State's ideology and legal policies on public spaces are defined. Such challenge “suggests” that we analyze the currently available documents of previous researchers, searching in various regulatory documents of the State, as well as statistical documents and conducting in-depth interviews with urban planning experts to present an understanding of the State's ideology and legal policies on public spaces in Vietnam. \u0000Various documents and researches have shown that the current planning policies in Vietnam consider land planning as a “golden mold” because the priority of the State still lies in economic, commercial, security and defense goals. These are the decisive factors that dominate other residential services, which is different from the modern logic of integrated planning, that, in turn, is based on three main pillars: i) Population planning and changes in demand for “residential services” in the broadest sense of this phrase (housing services; transportation services; medical services; educational services; cultural services; media services; environment, security and defense activities,...); ii) Administrative land planning; and iii) Land planning for economic and commercial activities. As a result of the current, yet simple categorization of land used in annual statistical documents, in the future, public space will not only be difficult to expand but also be narrowed in correlation with the growing population density, especially in urban areas. Meanwhile, the planning of public spaces of the previous periods still leaves us with lessons of the integrated and complex model to meet people's needs. The comparison of two French logic of integrated planning and the “socio-economic” spatial planning logic, taking economic and commercial in Anglo-Saxon-style as the central element also contributes to unravel the “ideology and policies of the planning of public spaces” of the state of Vietnam, although scientifically, the boundary between these two planning logic has now almost been blurred. \u0000Keywords: \u0000Public space planning; legal documents on public space planning; traffic space; spiritual space; entertainment and entertainment space; integrated logic; People's needs.

Policy formulation is one of the five steps in the policy process, including: i) Agenda setting; ii) Policy formulation; iii) Decision making; iv) Policy implementation; and v) Policy evaluation. The proposed policy focuses on addressing the lack of psychological services and interventions which are self-concept based and strength-based in order to help caregivers cope with and adjust to their caregiving burden. This policy consists of two key action plans: i) Expanding the existing intervention with a supplement of the self-concept and strength-based components; and ii) Establishing support groups of family caregivers of people with dementia. These action plans were assessed using the Matrix 5W of policy formulation. The results show high acceptance and feasibility of the action plans at the hospital level.
