Analysis conducted using PLS-SEM with a sample size of 201 participants reveals that perceived usefulness is the most significant predictor of participants’ attitudes. The constructs of TPB, including attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control, exhibit positive and statistically significant effects on the intention to participate in online voter contact. {"title":"Management of World Biosphere Reserves in Vietnam: Case Study at Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An Biosphere Reserve","authors":"Truong Quang Hoc, Le Ngoc Thao, Hoang Thi Ngoc Ha","doi":"10.25073/2588-1116/vnupam.4464","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25073/2588-1116/vnupam.4464","url":null,"abstract":"By 2024, Vietnam has 11 Biosphere Reserves recognized by UNESCO, ranking second in Southeast Asia in terms of the number of Biosphere Reserves. However, the reception and utilization of the Biosphere Reserve designation in provinces and at the national level remain passive. In addition to maintaining annual commemorative activities and developing 10-year periodic reports, key activities to fulfill the three basic functions of Biosphere Reserves, namely Conservation, Support, and Development—have not been adequately pursued by localities. The 10-year periodic assessment reports required by UNESCO are fairly well-implemented by Biosphere Reserves and localities. However, the recommendations from these reports have not been clearly proposed to promote strengths and limit weaknesses in the sustainable development of future Biosphere Reserves. The underlying cause of these limitations is that the evaluation of the effectiveness of management and coordination of Biosphere Reserves from national to local levels still adheres to administrative trends, and the scientific evidence supporting the evaluation process is not sufficiently clear. Therefore, recommendations from periodic reports still tend to be procedural and responsible for the Vietnamese government agencies as well as UNESCO. Particularly, these recommendations have not been legally institutionalized or institutionalized to leverage the Biosphere Reserve title in the comprehensive and sustainable development of localities with Biosphere Reserves. Based on this reality, the construction of a Framework to evaluate the effectiveness of management and coordination of Vietnam's Biosphere Reserves through 6 management contents including i) Context and current management status; ii) Development of a Management Plan for each Biosphere Reserve; iii) Mobilization of input resources for management; iv) Management process and coordination mechanism; v) Output products of the management process; and vi) Results/Impacts of the management process. Within these six basic contents, 22 corresponding indicators and 65 specific indicators have been developed to accurately describe the context, conditions, reception process, and management/coordination/operation of each Biosphere Reserve with the participation of government authorities, scientists, business forces, local communities, and stakeholders. This set of educational market indexes includes 17 indicators for 03 areas: education (06 indicators), scientific research (05 indicators), and community service (06 indicators). Research results have shown that applying this set of indicators helps evaluate the university's ranking, impact, competitiveness, and stakeholders' satisfaction with the university. People with personalities and awareness aligned with these qualities tend to be more inclined to meet the job demands, thus resulting in higher satisfaction and long-term commitment to their work. This study analyzes the impact of factors such as lecturers’ behavior, students' active learning orientation, positive learning environment, active teaching methods, public service motivation, and perception of future career opportunities on the learning motivation of medical students. The study surveyed 318 students who are studying at the Lam Dong Medical College. The results show that all six factors above have a positive impact on the learning motivation of students. In particular, the public service motivation factor has the strongest impact. The results show that the implemention of the OCOP program in Hung Yen province has achieved many positive effects with 140 OCOP products recognized with 3-star and 4-star ratings and 50 OCOP owners participating in the rating evaluation. The OCOP products have improved in the quality with a wide range of products. However, there are some difficulties in implementing the program in Hung Yen as OCOP owners and some localities are still struggling. Moreover, OCOP products are mainly rated with 3 stars that are not commensurate with the potential and strengths of the province's key products. Based on an online investigation of 264 students who have graduated within the past 10 years at Da Lat University, this article evaluates the job opportunities and jobs in the right major after graduation for university students in the past 10 years, correlated with personal factors, family factors, school factors and the labor market. Research results show that the main job market for post-graduate students is mainly in the public sector, education and training sector, and commune and ward level specialists. While students who work in their majors tend to choose jobs because of their passion and interests, students who have jobs in the wrong majors choose jobs because of economic income. This suggests policy implications for students themselves, universities and the labor market in the present and the future. In Vietnam, Facebook is the most popular social media platform, posing as an important space for online discussions and social relations in Vietnam’s cyberspace. Therefore, this study aims to examine how normativity and netiquette are reflected on Facebook, how groups’ subculture on Facebook empowers the conformity of users’ behaviour, and the current situation of ‘Netiquette’ and related rules and regulations in Vietnam. The research seeks to understand how social norms are tested and reformed in online social networks, ultimately impacting beliefs and actions both online and offline. In order to provide arguments for the research process on the creation of new lifestyles to adapt to the fourth industrial revolution and for the policy-making process associated with the human resource development of industrial parks and localities, it is necessary to identify assessment criteria for changes in the lifestyle of industrial park workers in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This paper will identify criteria for particular categories, such as: shifts in production labor; shifts in political consciousness; shifts in social activities; shifts in family dynamics; and shifts in the spiritual lives of industrial park workers.
